Ungar heard a voice and it was Ebisu. "Ungar we have less than fortunate
news, but two mercenaries have been sent to the Planet Helios; they should arrive here in no less than 6 months." Ungar stepped back, "Six months?! Are you sure?"
Ebisu replied; 'yes Ungar and we only have so much time to prepare for these two warriors as they are very powerful and one of them, we know very well, I presume you remember, Acon 01 01 01 ?" Ungar paused and reminisced of the last time he met the warrior Acon 01 01 01 ; it was when Ebisu and Ungar confronted Acon 01 01 01 at the Wind Palace to try to persuade him from taking up work with a warlord. Ebisu pleaded; "Why is it that you must kill. I know you never kill children but to kill anyone why???!!! Do you not want to protect those who cannot protect themselves?" There was a long pause as Ungar and Ebisu on one side and Acon 01
01 01 on the other stared at each other in silence but the tension was so that one could cut it with a knife. Acon 01 01 01 callously responded, "Why try to protect
the masses as a whole. I have friends that I would protect, but to be a hero and lay down your life for complete strangers is absolutely foreign to me. I can only imagine how exhausting it is. I prefer the selfish-lifestyle!" After this Ungar
shouted back; "Do you hear yourself, you sound like some kind of heartless
monster!" Whereas Acon 01 01 01 responded by saying; "I don't need to be lectured by you two. I'm out of here. Hopefully you'll have the sense to leave me alone." And after that he was gone. Ungar and Ebisu starred into the endless sky
beyond the Wind Palace. As the memory faded Ungar recounted that that event occurred at least 450 years ago. Just then Daniel woke up, "Man what time is it?" Ungar said in response; "There's been a change, we're going back to University right now but first we have to enter the imperial city of Yardrat." 'The Imperial city of Yardrat, Imperial?' said Daniel. 'Yes, said Ungar; "Imperial, the city is home to
countless races and peoples; Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, Wizards, Humans, countless different species of Aliens that immigrated to this planet, its highly multi-cultural to say the least. Which means it will be extremely easy for you to get distracted. And I need you to pay attention, got it?" Yeah said, Daniel. But why are we leaving now?
Did something change? I thought we were going to take the two-day journey?' Ungar paused for a minute. He did not want to worry Daniel about the warriors coming to this world to capture him as it would interfere with his confidence in his training, he would tell him after 3 months had passed to ensure that he made significant progress so he hatched a little white lie. 'Yes, but the Head-Master of the
University which I now understand is called Yardrat University. They had a name change since I last went there a few years back. They started the semester several days early and if we don't get there now, you'll fall behind. To ensure your situation is understood by the faculty I'll speak to my old friend the Head-Master
Dr. Faust the Jinn with you myself. But to get to the city you'll have to grab on to me." Daniel looked perplexed but responded by saying; 'No problem I guess, let's
go.' After this the two of them teleported and arrived in the imperial city of Yardrat. It was just as Ungar described but even more so there was magic being practiced on the street corners, there were Dwarves, Elves and even talking animals of all species, Lions, Tigers, Pangolins, AntEaters, Rhinos, many of them were anthropomorphic in nature but others were just like other animals as far as their physical make up but all of these animals could talk, in addition to this there were many aliens who all spoke different unique languages and they themselves all looked very different from each other straight out of a Science-Fiction novel. "Wow this Yardrat this city is beautiful it's like nothing I've ever seen before." Ungar said; "You'll get used to it eventually, but in the meantime drink it in but not for too long we have to go to the University." Daniel responded, 'Right.' Ungar and the boy
continued through the city as merchants tried to sell them various exotic foods and wares until Daniel's elf-like ears picked up a scream, "Did you hear that Ungar?" 'Here what, kid?' "Come on, we have to go check it out." This took Daniel into a dark alley where a young blonde Elf Girl was being attacked by five goons, three of them fellow elves, one was a dwarf and one more was a goblin. The leader seemed to be an elf with long red hair. As the girl continued to scream the redheaded elf snapped back, "You better shut up sweetlips, how are we going to have fun with
you if you keep screaming." The Goblin shouted; 'can I go to the second boss? And in response the Dwarf said to me third? 'Relax,' said the Elf. 'Everyone's going to get their turn. I bet this one hasn't even lost her virginity yet? But don't worry we'll take care of that for you?" The elf girl began to plead, "Please stop, I'll give you
anything you don't have to do this." In response the main elf said; "We don't have to do this. But doing this always feels so good, why should we have to stop." Just then Daniel spoke up, "Hey, leave her alone!" The redheaded elf turned around, "Why don't you mind your own business kid, if you know what's good for you." Just then the Red Elf took out a knife and began to charge towards Daniel. Daniel froze up; he didn't know what to do. And then suddenly he heard a bellowing voice; "EVENT HORIZON!" Just then a burst of dark energy knocked the Red Elf off his feet, shocking the other four goons. It was Ungar the Warlock. The Red Elf screamed; "That's some sort of monster, let's get out of here!" All of them began panicking and screaming and fled as a result. Ungar then said; "It's a good thing for those scum who fled with their lives because I wasn't going to give those curs another chance." Daniel thanked Ungar and then he saw the elf girl on the floor
with shock in her eyes. She pushed out the words, "Thank you. But why did you try to help me when you had no means to defend yourself," said the Elf. "Well I saw someone in danger so I wasn't really thinking about myself at that moment." And the Elf Girl said that she also thanked Daniel's friend Ungar for using the spell that
stopped her attackers. After this Daniel asked for the girl's name which was, 'Athena.' "Athena, huh? Like the Greek Goddess that's a very pretty name. By the way, what were you doing in that dark alley anyway?" Athena said, "I was trying to find a shortcut to school. I just started my first year at Yardrat University." Daniel said, "You're kidding, I'm also going to Yardrat." Ungar asked her who her
home-room teacher was and the girl said; Gillum. "Oh, then you are in our classes
this semester. Gillum is the one that will be teaching the courses I'll be serving as a sort of Teacher's Assistant. So, you two will both be in all the same classes with each other. Funny how that worked out," said Ungar. Wait a minute, said Daniel,
who's Gillum? "Gillum is an old friend of mine; he is an alien from the Planet
Atlantia from a race of fish-like beings called the Aquatos. These beings are anthropomorphic in nature and have both gills and lungs and can as a result breath both water and oxygen. They use a mysterious form of water magic native to their home planet of Atlantia. Gillum is no exception. He's a great warrior and an old friend of mine, I'm sure he and I will teach you kids a lot by the time the year's over." So, what's your name, mister Athena said. Ungar said; 'Ungar I'm a Warlock
and a Gettling and this boy is Daniel's teacher.' After this Athena asked if she could walk to school with all of them and they did. Eventually reaching the school and finding their way to Professor Gillum's home-room. There they met the fish-like Alien known as Gillum and at the beginning of class all of the different students had to introduce themselves. The first was an elf girl with blue hair, "Hello my
name's Aquarius. I'm the adopted daughter of the Head-Master Dr. Faust but don't get any ideas about me being treated any differently than any of you. Anything I do better or worse is because of my own skill; it has nothing to do with Nepotism. Gillum then responded; 'Alright then, Zaiyal you're up next.' "Do I have to
Professor Gillum, it seems like a waste of my time." Gillum said, say out or I'll mark off participation points for today. "Fine…, my name is Zaiyal IX I'm the
descendant of the great warrior Zaiyal VI. Zaiyal VI as you all know was a famous warrior from the ancient but now non-existent planet of Solarus and as such he was a Solarian all of my descendant since then including my father have been humans but Solarian energy takes millennia before it is weeded out so I have kept all of my Solarian powers, also my ancestor Zaiyal VI who died roughly 500 years ago was a minor Solarian nobleman the equivalent of a duke. Gillum, two more are left, Athena you go. "Hello my name's Athena I'm 21 years old, I am elf and I come from a small village in the north. I already met Daniel but it would be really great meeting all of you." Alright thank you Athena, now last but
not least Daniel tell us about yourself. "Well my name is Daniel and I'm an elf, I guess. I really don't know that much about fighting but I hope I can learn a lot more in the future… and I'm excited to get to know all of you I guess." Well perfect
then said Professor Gillum, Ungar why don't you introduce everyone to the upcoming course. 'Certainly,' said Ungar. "Now all of you Daniel, Athena, Zaiyal,
Aquarius, Pon-Chow and Mr. Bear; all six of you need to understand that the first class our class will be roughly 2 hours than you'll have to go to history class with the Bear and the Dragon who are the professors of that course. But before then you have to understand that Gillum and myself will watch you today to see your skill level so we can help you fight better tomorrow. Each person will have a sparring partner, Daniel you'll spar with Zaiyal, Aquarius you'll spar with Athena and Mr. Bear you'll spar with Pom-Chow. Alright get too it kids.
