The idea of Horus infiltrating an enemy camp all by himself was swiftly rejected by Lady Vi.
She knew that if his first wife were in the kingdom, she wouldn't have let Horus go.
But no matter how she tried, Horus remained determined.
He left the kingdom with nothing, disguising himself as a ragged beggar. Erwin, however, gave him a flare just in case he ran into trouble.
The ministers who were locked up were certain Horus wouldn't make it back alive.
And Horus, on the other hand, was lost.
"Hmm, just where is the place?" he sighed. Spotting a small river, he stopped his horse in order to take a quick drink.
While hydrating himself, he felt that someone, or rather something, was watching him.
Of course, that was because a crocodile in the water had marked the emperor as its prey.
The latter slowly unsheathed his dagger and hid it at his side.
The moment the crocodile lunged out of the water, Horus leaped toward it in response.
