I called Percy as soon as I went inside I know it is late, but I didn't have any choice. I have to know what was going on ,why he looked so serious "Hey baby I know you miss me but this is no time to call"he said half asleep I wanted to hit him for what he just said but that currently is not my priority
" Percy, I know something bad is going on but honestly I am scared ,so tell me what's with your look today what is even going on with dad and Dr.peralta and Kuya".He exhaled deeply "you sure you wanna know" he sighed "alright meet me outside RnR tmr at 8am and make sure Jay doesn't know dad will be there and she can't meet him not yet" before I could say anything, the call ended.
Good thing, I applied leave tomorrow to study for my entrance.
I woke up early to leave before jay jay noticed but I was spotted by my brother. He asked me where I was going I hesitated but I came up with an excuse but before I could say anything he gave me a file and asked me to say hello to Mr. Mariano on his behalf and gave me a side eye, as if telling me that he knew everything
I was scared and shocked, but I nodded and went ahead. I drove off to RnR and as I parked I opened the file my brother gave me it was Jay's medic records and history.I close my eyes and took a deep breath, and went inside, Percy was sitting in the reception, eating a whole hamburger early in the morning. As soon as you saw me, he got up, opening his hand coming for hug. I just shoved him off.
he took me to see dad he looked young as the last time I saw him, and he saw me and gave a soft smile and called"Aries,my son" gave me a warm hug of course I hugged him back.he was still in a business attire, but more softer side of a Mariano .
Percy pouted and dramatically asked dad for a hug and I was just so done with him, but I was in no state to make fun of him because my mind was somewhere else as we finish the greeting. All our faces went serious, but both of them looked so sorry and a ray of sadness filled their faces.
"DAD…. PLS TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON PLS…"I begged yes, I know Jay doesn't like me to call her father, my dad, but he kind of adapted me when I was young and he's the only person in the world that I willingly call dad and he hates it when I call him something else, even when I was young even before jay was born . I used to call him,dad out of respect and gratitude.
