In the year 36XX on a certain planet known as Gavion, the year had come to an end.It was just after midnight during the new year celebrations when it all began.
Fireworks had already been lit and almost all humans had lifted their heads gazing at the sky when they appeared.
Fractures appeared around the world at different places and one large fracture high in the sky in the atmosphere.
Something could be seen coming out of the fractures that spread all around the world.The substance was in beautiful colours that were hard to name as they looked otherworldly.
In a villa,on the mountain side, a similar fracture had appeared.There was a congregation of people in the villa's compound as they looked at the fracture in awe and surprise.
The people in the compound were a family known as Aurelius.They were a family that had big multiple companies around the world.
They catered to different services and products.With their wealth, they bought the whole mountain on which they had built multiple villa's for the family.
An hour after the fractures appeared they disappeared just as quickly.Then translucent panels appeared infront of every human above the age of 18.
The panels also came with a voice that was heard by every person in a language they would understand perfectly.

As he was looking at his status panel. Loud gasps come from around him.He and his wife who was seated next to him had started to deaged and in less than a minute, they looked young again.
"WOW. Grandpa, Grandma you look young.How are you doing that ?" A young man exclaimed in surprise.
"Yeah granpa, grandma, how are you doing that?" A young woman also spoke in surprise.
"You two look like the pictures you showed me of when you were young." The young man spoke again in shock that had yet to subside.
The grandson and granddaughter said in shock and surprise.
"I didn't do anything but maybe it has something to do with this and everything that is happening." The old man who had turned young replied "Everyone explore this status thing and tomorrow we will meet to discuss our way forward."
I dismissed everyone as it was already a new year and they all went back to their villa's.
The family was made up of me and my wife, Emerald. Our son Alexander and his wife Leah and they had a son named Jace. Our daughter Cassandra and her husband David with their daughter Emma.

The talent 'Saintess Grimoire' was a unique talent specifically made to suit my wife. While the skill 'heal' is suited to heal a specific person and the skill 'mass heal' many people at once. While my talent was not like her's it was unique in it's own way.

We arrived at the company at around 8:00 am and started the meeting at 8:30 am. I was seated at the main seat while my wife was on my right hand side.
She was followed up by our son Alexander, his wife Leah and their son Jace on the right side. On the left was our daughter Cassandra, her husband David and their daughter Emma.
"Let's talk about what happened to each of you last night and what we'll do. Starting with Alex ?" I spoke as I started the meeting.
"I got an SSS grade talent 'Storm Sovereign'. It says that I am the embodiment of the storm given human form and I can control the storm and summon it where it isn't." Alexander gave his account.

"I got an SS grade talent 'Empress of the Cauldron'. It says that it is an alchemy talent and gives me a 90% success rate when performing alchemy." Leah also gave her account.

"I got 2 SS grade talents 'Dominion of Flames' and 'Dominion of Wind'. It says I get stronger in the presence of fire or strong winds and I can use them to recover."

"That's good. Everyone got good things. We can fight and heal and make things when needed. We'll just wait and see how good we are in comparison with and those in the Tower.
At noon I will probably receive a call from the government to about this event and all that it has affected and how we will approach the situation moving forward. But before that meeting let me get your own opinions of this and how you think we should do to move or respond.
"Umm. I think that this is similar to the novels and manhwa I usually read and from my knowledge we should do our best to level up once we enter the tower because we can die if we are weak. " Jace spoke out " But also this is a different scenario as we have (ranks) on our status panels and since we are at a low rank there must be people of higher rank and obviously privileges that come with being of a higher rank. "
"So let me get this straight. We are supposed to fight when we anter the tower, we are supposed to level if we want to continue living since there are others of a higher level that might want to kill us and if there is a chance we should raise our rank to get better stuff in the tower." Emma spoke back.
"That's about right except the part 'might want' to kill us, it's 'want' to kill us. Well mainly monsters but not all of them, and some people not everyone. You just have to know who wants to kill and who doesn't. Jace clarified for everybody.
"Well as you have heard from Jace we have each other through it all and we have to help each not to die then it might extend to your friends if you want to. Don't betray each other or be jealous or envious of one another" I said "We should strive to be stronger which is to level up so as not to be killed by those stronger than us."
"Agreed just like my husband and Jace have said let's be the for one another our journey in the tower." Emerald, my wife said.
We continued discussing what we should do and ultimately decided to continue life like normal until the tower arrived on earth just like the system said.
