The next morning,
Kine rushes to the reception area to mark his attendance, meets Fer on his way there who was returning.
Fer (whispers) : Be careful next time, I've deleted it but it's not possible every time. (Pats on Kine's shoulder and leaves)
Kine happily does his job returns and waits for Di
As soon as Di comes in,
Kine : Good Morning ~
Di : Morning, is everything ok out there?
Kine (softly) : Obviously (smiles)
From that day onwards before the mid terms, Kine and Di maintained some physical distance but obviously the urge to come close was somewhat overtaking them.
Soon the midterm exams began, both of them shared their invigilation schedule with each other.
In this school exams are conducted in 3 phases. Each phase is of 1 hour and the exam is of 3 hours. Means there would be a teacher exchange every one hour, twice.
The first exam day,
In the 1st phase, Kine and Di were assigned parallel rooms for invigilation. For 1 hr, more than invigilation they did was eye contact and smile shyly. This went on and then, the bell rang, change of phase, the teacher who was ought to come to replace Di arrived but Kine didn't, however the teacher finally came in. Kine rushed to meet Di. Di was happy to see Kine so impatient to see him.
For an hour they were free so they pretended to work on some reports while being secretly lovey dovey. As we all know, time flies and good times end soon, Di had to leave but Kine didn't, they said see you later with a faint smile. Di leaves. Kine is left alone, skims and scans the whole corridor as if searching for something. Finally, he found it and smirked an evil smile. Later that day after all the students went home Kine was glad that now he could spend some time close to Di.
Di who was smiling talking to Mr. Aether, and what was that, he even shared his lip balm with Di. Jealous Kine couldn't help himself and left the scene. Moments later everyone had to go for a teachers' meeting. Everyone left except for Di, anxious, looking for Kine.
Di (worried) : Where the hell is that guy?
Someone secretly pulls Di to a blind spot
Kine (covering Di's mouth so that he won't scream) : (stares into his eyes seeking permission) May I?
Di (removes Kine's hand) : (softly) What the hell… Not now we're in school right now, can't see?
Kine : (rubs his head to Di's chest) But I'm jealous right now....
Di : (confused) Jealous? But why?
Kine : (in a childish voice) Why did you share your lips with Mr. Aether?
Di : When did I? (Recalls) Oh that (makes an annoyed face hits him lightly on his chest) Such a baby you are. Shall I scrub it off then?
Kine : (in a flirty tone) May I?(Bringing his fingers closer to Di's lips
Di : No...
Kine : Then shall I hydrate them (leans forward) with mine.....?
Di (flustered and red with shyness) : Huh...?!
(Kine nevertheless leans, Di closes his eyes accepting his fate but Kine kisses Di's forehead and leaves with a bright smile Di can't help but got butterflies in his stomach)
In the meeting, the teachers were being explained a few things regarding paper checking and invigilation duties but Kine has more interesting things to do, checking out his boyfriend.
After the meeting,
Kine : I got something to talk to you about.
Di : What is it?
Kine : Not here, tomorrow meet me at the school terrace.
Di : What?! Alright.
Both of them leave.The next day during recess, students who were fond of Kinematics searched for him like crazy.
Yet he was busy in his comfort zone with his comfort person
Kine (serious) : How long do you think we can go on like this?
Di : Huh?! What do you mean?
Kine : I mean, Us obviously, listen carefully what I'm going to say next whatever you want to say after that, don't say it right away tell me about it after school, fine.
Di wonders what this guy is upto this time, fidgets for a bit and then Kine... Where is he?
Di (startled) : What the...! Why are you on your knees are you...???
Kine : I said don't blabber anything, see I know I might be unreasonable and weird at times but I'm kinda good at heart you know, so, Mr. Dipole would you like to consider us? I promise to be there at all possible times for you, share all moments of glee and awe, would you?
Di about to speak, Kine stood up hastily covered Di's mouth
Kine : Don't answer, meet you after school.
Kine kinda runs away towards the staff room to find Fer.
Kine (catching his breath, smiles at Fer) : I did it!
Fer (happy) : What did he say?
Kine gestures he didn't let him respond.
The day passed eventually and after school, Kine went up to the terrace where Di was already waiting for him, Di smiled and Kine blushed.
Kine : So...
Di (serious) : Listen carefully what I'm about to say (Kine blushing closes his eyes to hear the affirmation, Di notices all of it yet is calm) I'm sorry
Kine (surprised) : What?! You're kidding me right, (scoffs) tell me it's a joke (Di is quiet), (Kine couldn't take it yet calmly) Could you please give a convincing reason for this.
Di(serious) : You don't need to know.
Di turns to leaves but Kine catches hold of his hand waiting for the answer.
Di turns back stares into the teary eyes of Kine
Di (coldly) : Leave, I don't want to create a scene.
Kine (the tears about to fall off his eyes) : Alright..... I won't bother you from now on...
Di climbs down the terrace and closes the door behind him, while Kine left solitary with his broken heart...
