The name was a creative definition of my life as a baby. 'Dira' is a local kenyan language(luhya) which means take. It was given to me by my african american mother. Win means on top of it all as per the English word hence the name was suggested by my dad. Dirawin combines them both.
"So what's up with you and my friend?"
"I like him." I stated wholly courageous. It was the first time I ever felt so for someone.
"I know who you are." He stated. I turned and looked at his eyes.
"He promised to keep it a secret."
"Not anymore when he lost his gift because of you."
"What? The phone? I had already known a bit of it but he never told me the whole stuff." I responded and looked into mid air.
"Dirawin, my friend is the only person in this world I could sacrifice stuff for."
"Let alone Gene?" I asked sarcastic. Once he mentioned my whole name I knew hell might break loose in any minute.
"Lets do it as such, let me speak first."
"Can I?" I stated. I never liked lectures especially from someone who was obviously lower than me.
"I like Jay. I don't want our past to define us. Once his dad is from wherever he'll go back. If I want him in one of my missions Timon will include you all."
"Rick." He stated and was silent.
"Has he ever told you something?"
"No but I see it in his eyes."
"Rick." A voice came. It was Winny and Cecil.
"Well bff you are here?" Jay said excitedly as he pulled Winny.
"New friends?" Nice asked as he scanned.
"Yeah." T stated as introduction begun. Rick sat there silent. His two bandmates had finally met.
"So we are all here. Drinks aside guys." Winny stated. Her commanding aura visible. Everyone placed their bottles aside.
"Are you spilling it or not?"Winny asked. Her voice clear and certain.
"I'll go find Dirawin." He stated and walked from them. Then a message rung in Ts phone.
"Winny we have a problem." He stated. Winny always came packed. The other males in the crew sat still. No one understood a thing and funny enough they were not trying to.
A laptop was placed on the table as the bottles were removed.
"Fuck third floor. Boss will be pissed. It's nearly been six months."
"Boss?" Tiw asked trying to catch up.
"Tiw does your group have a name?"
"Nope. We just appeared together." He responded.
"How did you guys meet Rick?" Winny asked.
"Well we met at the park. He was alone, kind of sad so we helped cheer him up." Kevin responded.
"Did he tell you anything off it?"
"Just that the boy he liked turned him down."
"Fuck he changed the tale." Cecil stated. T was still on the laptop.
"What tale?" Jay asked.
"It's not our story to tell." T said as he turned his laptop to them.
"Guys we are the Teetee5 and we need your help." His spilled the beans unreasonably.
"Whaaaaaaat?" They all asked. The bar went silent as their table was focused on. They apologized slightly as noise came over.
"So when Jay said Dirawin he was right?"
"Probably." Jay responded.
"Please help." T stated slightly serious.
"None of us have any skills." Nice stated still certain.
"No need for that at the moment. So long as you accept. We will train you to be like him." T said pointing at Jay.
"What more secret do you have? First it was Rick now it's Jay?" Genes voice was angrier.
Rick stood behind the door. Maybe it was time for him to come to terms with reality.
"What do you see in his eyes?" Dew asked. He knew the answer but still needed verification.
"They sparkle whenever they see you. Plus I know you've been together for years but I don't know if you also feel the same."
"As I said earlier the only person I have feelings for is Jay."
"You want to say you never liked him?" He asked serious.
"Why should I answer that to you?" Dew asked already defensive.
"I want to be certain my friend is in good hands."
"I agreed to come here to assure you. Not to answer stuff. Our past is not related to the future we wish for."
"But it will come to haunt you."
"If Jay wants to know I will speak. If you want to know I'm not obligated to answer."
"What if I want to know." Rick stated as he walked from the spot. Dew ran silent.
"Okay okay let's let it go." Vin stated as the two groups stopped arguing.
"What do you want us to help with?" Kevin asked T turned the computer and showed them the structure.
After a wide discussion they went back to drinking.
"Jay Ricks been gone for a while. Your hubby might be in danger." Gene stated as everything got calmer.
"He's with Shyl I trust them." Jay responded.
"But don't trust Rick." Winny she swirled her wine glass. Cecil touched her hand and she was silent.
"It's true though. Dew has suffered in his hands and he isn't letting go." Cecil stated as Jay stood from his position. His heart was pounding uncontrollably. He ran to the balcony where they were and stood.
"What do you want me to tell you?" Dew asked. Shyl sighted Jay and walked to him. Seconds later the whole troup was there.
"Everything. You said it yourself we'd be together. Now you claim to love someone else?" He asked tears in his eyes. Dew stood there his eyes blank as usual.
"You popped up everything." Gene stated as he touched Shyl.
"I just want everything to be clear and my friend to be happy. I always see tention between the two plus Jays chemistry isn't that wide. He can try holding back than being in a one love sided relationship.
