The jungle was silent.
Too silent.
Tall, twisted trees surrounded Kay from all sides. Their branches looked like broken code—glitching in and out of reality.
Kay slowly walked forward.
"This place…"
He looked around.
"…feels like a bugged area."
A faint growl echoed somewhere deep inside the forest.
"Grrrr…"
Kay stopped.
His hand moved toward his watch.
The GG Watch flickered.
A holographic screen appeared in front of him.
HP: 100%
Inventory: Indigo Sword
Skill: Rewrite (Locked)
Kay frowned.
"Locked…?"
He clenched his fist.
"So I can't use it yet…"
Suddenly—
A sharp sound cut through the silence.
"Help…!"
Kay's head snapped in that direction.
A girl's voice.
Without thinking, he ran.
A few meters ahead—
The ground opened into a massive webbed area.
Thick digital threads stretched between the trees.
And in the center—
A giant creature moved.
A MUTANT GLITCH SPIDER.
Its body was enormous… made of dark metal and crawling code.
Red eyes glowed like burning data.
And trapped in its web—
A girl.
She struggled, trying to free herself.
Her long orange hair shimmered under the dim light.
A pink, glowing cape flowed behind her.
In her hand—
A starfire bow.
She fired an arrow.
SHOOT!
The arrow struck the spider.
But—
Barely any damage.
"Oh no…"
She gritted her teeth.
"My attacks aren't working…!"
The spider moved closer.
Slow.
Hungry.
Kay watched from behind a tree.
"…She's going to die."
For a second—
He hesitated.
Then his expression changed.
Cold.
Focused.
"Not happening."
He stepped out.
The spider suddenly turned.
Its red eyes locked onto him.
"Grrrrr…"
Kay took a deep breath.
"Alright…"
He tightened his grip.
"Let's try this again."
The GG Watch glowed.
Data gathered in his hand.
The Indigo Sword formed once again.
The girl's eyes widened.
"Who…?"
Kay didn't look at her.
"Stay back."
The spider lunged.
FAST.
Kay vanished.
PHANTOM DASH.
In the next second—
He appeared to the side.
SLASH!
A clean strike.
The spider screeched.
Glitching violently.
But it didn't fall.
Instead—
It turned even more aggressive.
The ground shook.
More webs spread.
Kay stepped back slightly.
"…This thing isn't normal."
Behind him—
The girl slowly stood up.
She raised her bow again.
"Hey!"
Kay glanced at her.
"Don't get in my way."
She smirked slightly.
"Who said I need help?"
For a moment—
Their eyes met.
Then—
The spider roared.
Both of them turned.
Ready to fight.
High above—
The red eye watched.
Silently.
And then—
A system message appeared.
