Chapter 3 - Silent growth

"Mom… I'm hungry."

The voice belonged to a young boy who looked no older than eight.

He had jet-black hair with faint streaks of deep blue along the edges. His eyes were a mesmerizing shade of blue so captivating one could get lost in them.

But there was something off.

His gaze was cold. Detached.

His very presence carried a quiet sense of isolation.

This was Snow.

Though he appeared to be eight years old… he was only six.

"I'm almost done, dear. Just a moment," a gentle voice replied.

In the kitchen stood a woman who looked to be in her early twenties. Her hair was white as fresh snow, and her eyes shone like a clear blue sky.

She smiled warmly at the boy.

"Okay, Mom," Snow responded calmly.

Camilla, Snow's mother, placed the food in front of him.

Snow sat quietly, waiting before he began to eat composed, almost unnaturally so for a child.

As she watched him…

Her thoughts drifted to the past.

After the disappearance of the two extraordinary babies, their families had searched desperately.

Camilla came from a powerful and influential clan. Because of this, both she and her child were sought with relentless effort.

Yet for two whole years…

There was no trace of them.

The clan grew anxious but they never lost hope.

Within the clan hall existed sacred items known as Spiritual Beads. These beads reflected a person's life force.

Blue meant life.

Black meant death.

And throughout those two years…

Camilla's bead had never turned black.

One day, as the elders gathered to discuss their next move.

A clan member burst into the hall.

"Elders! Forgive my intrusion, but I bring urgent news!"

"Speak, child," one elder said calmly.

The young man swallowed, his voice trembling with excitement.

"She has returned… Camilla is back!"

The entire hall fell silent.

Then...

They rose as one.

Joy. Shock. Relief.

Without hesitation, the elders rushed toward the gates.

What awaited them…

Was beyond anything they had imagined.

A massive white wolf stood at the entrance.

It towered nearly five meters tall, its body longer than a carriage. Its fur was flawless pure white and its piercing blue eyes radiated both intelligence and dominance.

It was beautiful.

Yet overwhelming.

Its presence alone forced people to step aside unconsciously.

Sacred.

Untouchable.

On its back sat a woman… holding a child.

The wolf slowly lowered itself.

Camilla stepped down, Snow in her arms.

"Thank you, Luna," she said softly.

The great wolf gave a silent nod

Then dissolved into light.

Returning… into the child.

Back in the present...

Camilla's eyes softened as she looked at Snow.

"Even now… it's still dangerous for him," she thought.

"Please… let nothing happen to my child."

Snow stood up, having finished his meal.

"I'm going out," he said.

Camilla's expression turned slightly serious.

"Be careful, Snow. Even though things have been quiet… many people are still targeting you."

"I know, Mother," he replied calmly.

"I'll be careful."

And in the next moment

He vanished.

As time passed, more people began to learn about Snow… and Jayden.

And with that knowledge came greed.

Many desired their power.

Many sought to control it.

This placed the boys in constant danger.

But despite everything

They survived.

Through battles…

Through pursuit…

Through pressure far beyond their years…

They grew.

Stronger.

Faster.

Sharper.

In a world where power meant everything.

They were no longer just children.

They were becoming something far greater.
