"Sekai no Hakaisha" Leo muttered.
The word "Destroyer" had barely left Leo's lips before he was lunging toward the shadows of the Cathedral.
"ONORE DEKEIDO!" he roared, his voice echoing off the stone walls and startling a flock of pigeons into the twilight sky.
He skidded into the alleyway, fists clenched, ready to face the pink-clad no magenta- clad menace who usually heralded the collapse of a reality.
But the alley was empty.
No grey coat, no camera, just a confused-looking cat grooming itself behind a crate.
Leo stood there, pointing dramatically at a brick wall, while the entire group—Jean, Kaeya, Amber, Lumine, and the bard—stared at him in dead silence.
"Uh... Leo?" Paimon whispered, floating tentatively behind Lumine's shoulder.
"Is 'Dekeido' a type of spicy Mondstadt bread? Because you look like you're having a very loud argument with a shadow."
"He just... he was right there!" Leo deflated, rubbing the back of his neck as his face turned a shade of red that rivaled a Pyro Slime.
"Never mind. Just... internal system calibration. Don't worry about it."
Venti tilted his head, a playful, knowing glint in his eyes.
"My, my. For a man who walks the path of heaven, you certainly have some colorful enemies in your head. But unless this 'Dekeido' is hiding the Holy Lyre der Himmel in his pockets, we have more pressing matters."
The group huddled together near the base of the Great Statue, the wind whistling through the Lyre's strings in Venti's hands.
"To save Dvalin," Venti said, his voice dropping the playful facade for a moment, "we need to sing to him. Not just any song, but the one that remembers who he was before the poison took hold.
And for that, we need the Holy Lyre kept within the Cathedral."
"The Holy Lyre?" Jean's brow furrowed.
"That is a national treasure of Mondstadt. Even as the Acting Grand Master, I cannot simply hand it over for a... musical performance."
"Then we'll just have to 'borrow' it," Venti chirped, strumming a discordantly cheerful note.
"Under the cover of night, of course. It's for the good of the Four Winds!"
Leo checked his HUD. The 800 RP was sitting there, pulsing. He looked at the high, daunting walls of the Cathedral and then back at the "Destroyer" he thought he saw.
