Chapter 133 - Blazing Yellow Heaven Pit

The first was Fang Yuan, who carried Grandmaster attainment in Blood Path after using Spring Autumn Cicada to return through rebirth.

The second was the future Great Dream Immortal Venerable, Feng Jin Huang. At this point in time, she was still cultivating within Spirit Affinity House, one of Central Continent's Ten Great Ancient Sects, and had yet to fully display her brilliance.

Later, through exploring dream realms, she would obtain Grandmaster attainment in Refinement Path.

Now, Lin Yan himself has become one of those heaven-defying monsters. Moreover, he had even created a complete Flame Path Immortal Gu recipe entirely through his own deductions.

With such terrifying accumulation, even without possessing one of the Ten Extreme Physiques and despite lacking sufficient life experience, Lin Yan was still confident he could obtain a large blessed land purely through the depth of his attainment during Immortal Ascension.

As for Fang Yuan failing to obtain a large blessed land in his second life, there were several other reasons behind it. At that time, Fang Yuan underwent Immortal Ascension within Imperial Court Blessed Land in Northern Plains, where the available Heaven and Earth qi were heavily limited.

On top of that, the circumstances forced him to ascend using Strength Path instead of his strongest Blood Path. As a result, he could not fully display the true depth of his strongest attainment and foundation during Immortal Ascension.

"Next comes refining the Immortal Gu and obtaining one of the Ten Extreme Physiques."

Lin Yan's eyes burned with intense ambition. Time was becoming increasingly tight. Only three and a half years remained before Fang Yuan's rebirth.

More than anyone else, Lin Yan understood just how terrifying the difficulty of refining an Immortal Gu truly was. Because of this, he had already prepared several backup plans in advance.

If he still failed to refine the Immortal Gu within a year, then he would immediately head toward the Southern Border and explore the inheritance left behind by Fire Thunder Divine Lord. And if even that ultimately failed, then he would have no choice but to directly attempt Immortal Ascension.

At the very least, a large blessed land would still barely satisfy his minimum expectations.

"As for immortal materials, I'll still need Sun Cu's full support. I wonder if he has accumulated enough wealth to help refine an Immortal Gu…"

Lin Yan felt somewhat concerned. He understood clearly that he could not place all his hopes entirely on Sun Cu alone. He also needed to personally search for immortal materials while preparing other backup plans at the same time.

Fortunately, during this period, he had already gathered some intelligence and discovered a location rich in Flame Path materials, one that even produced immortal materials from time to time.

That place was Blazing Yellow Heaven Pit, one of the seven great wonders of Western Desert, comparable to Ember Passage Ridge. It was only briefly mentioned in the original novel without much detail, but after transmigrating into Western Desert, Lin Yan had gradually learned far more information about it.

This enormous heaven pit was said to be almost bottomless. Every hundred years, terrifying currents of flaming magma would erupt from its deepest regions, completely flooding the entire abyss.

After countless cycles of eruption and accumulation, enormous numbers of Flame Path Dao Marks had gathered there, eventually transforming the place into a massive Flame Path resource point.

However, not just anyone could explore Blazing Yellow Heaven Pit. It was said that even Flame Path Gu Immortals could not endure the terrifying heat of the deeper regions for long once they ventured too deep.

As for Rank 4 and Rank 5 mortal Gu Masters, let alone entering the depths, most would already struggle just to move within several dozen li of the heaven pit itself. Usually, they could only remain outside and wait for Flame Path materials or Gu worms occasionally blasted out by the magma eruptions.

If Lin Yan wanted to venture deep into the heaven pit, he currently had two possible methods. The first was to directly transform into the Blazing Sun Lightning Brilliance Physique. The second was to create defensive Gu worms specifically designed to resist the terrifying flames within the pit.

Soon afterward, Lin Yan's Quasi-Grandmaster attainment in Flame Path naturally began generating new ideas once again. In less than three days, he successfully deduced a Rank 5 Gu recipe called Transform Fire Gu. This Gu worm recipe borrowed part of the profound concepts behind Transformation Stone Immortal Gu and specialized in dissolving and neutralizing flames.

Even Otherworldly Flames were no exception.

Lin Yan immediately refined Transform Fire Gu afterward. At the same time, he also possessed Rank 5 Crimson Sky Fire Dragon Armor Gu along with several core Gu worms belonging to the Flame Demon True Body killer move, such as Five Aperture Fire Furnace Gu.

After carefully evaluating his current foundation, even Lin Yan himself felt somewhat shocked. Among mortal Gu Masters, his resistance toward flames had likely already reached an astonishing level, perhaps even comparable to ordinary Rank 6 Flame Path Gu Immortals.

Without wasting any more time, Lin Yan completed the rest of his preparations and immediately departed toward Blazing Yellow Heaven Pit.
