Hey everyone, Blaheek here.
I want to give you an honest update on where things stand. To be completely transparent, this current draft isn't where I want it to be, even after a second rewrite. For a while, I couldn't quite pinpoint why it felt off, but I finally realized the issue: perspective. Trying to tell this specific story in the third person has been incredibly limiting, and it's making it hard to show you what I truly want.
Because I hit that wall, I stepped away for a bit to focus on another project. However, my main focus is shifting back here. While I won't be posting rapid-fire updates, you can still expect a chapter every once in a while.
My ultimate plan is to completely remake and overhaul this novel. The core concept is something I still love, and it has so many elements I genuinely enjoy writing. I want to do it justice.
