Chapter 11 - Chapter 10 – The Broken Mirror

Two days had passed since the dinner.

Two days of silence.

Two days of denial.

I locked myself in my room, drowning in information I refused to believe.

Every article. Every forum. Every fragmented testimony.

Paranormal. Rituals. Entities.

Madness.

— "This isn't real…" I muttered.

But the more I searched…

the less convinced I became.

Alya had left the city that same night.

No distractions.

No warmth.

No escape.

Only me…

and the truth clawing at the edges of my mind.

Then I remembered.

— "The old library…"

They said it had existed for centuries.

Maybe longer.

— "…If there are answers… they'll be there."

🕯️ The Library

By the time I arrived, the world had already begun to fade into dusk.

The district was different.

Seventh age.

Elegant.

Frozen in time.

— "Everything here feels… preserved."

The library stood at the center.

Ancient.

Beautiful.

Wrong.

I stepped inside.

Dust.

Silence.

Time itself seemed to hesitate.

I wandered through sections until I reached the oldest archives.

Books that shouldn't still exist.

Pages older than memory.

Then I found it.

"The Ritual of Black Tears"

I read aloud, barely above a whisper:

— "To invoke the God of Doors… one must stand beneath a storm at midnight…"

— "…possess sufficient energy…"

— "…and speak the ancient tongue… Luminari."

My fingers trembled as I traced the symbols.

— "…carve the palm with a bone blade…"

— "…and recite the forbidden words…"

"Þanir'is älithir, Qel'vethra valür."

The air shifted.

I kept reading.

Because I needed answers.

Even if they destroyed me.

Then—

The pages turned on their own.

The Nameless Witch

— "A witch once made a pact with the God of Doors…"

— "…to bear a daughter."

My breath slowed.

— "…Her name must never be spoken."

— "…She is rank zero."

— "…She waits in the dark… for the one who will close the breach."

Silence pressed against my skull.

— "…She is evil incarnate."

I swallowed.

But something inside me…

was already listening.

The Poem

"She was born from inheritance of desire,

Her birth reshaped heaven and earth,

Darkness bloomed within her soul…

And from that fracture… a lord was born."

My chest tightened.

"He will come.

He will close the breach.

He will carry darkness within his soul…"

I stopped breathing.

"…And she—

the black witch—

will shatter the worlds that bind reality."

The pages blurred.

Hours passed.

Maybe more.

Until I found it.

A book that didn't belong to this world.

Black leather.

A twelve-pointed star engraved in its cover.

When I opened it…

I knew.

It wasn't ink.

It was blood.

The Truth of This World

"There exist beings known as the Illuminated…"

"They possess cores of power—Luminari Cores."

"Among them… the Arcane rule."

My hands shook.

"There are fifteen categories…"

"…but one stands above all."

I already knew the answer before reading it.

"The Witches."

"Each embodies a sin."

"Each sin has eleven levels."

"Only nine exist."

"No more. No less."

My throat went dry.

"…And she… is among them."

I turned the page.

And found the story.

"The Witch Who Wove Oblivion"

I shouldn't have read it.

But I did.

"Before fear… there was silence."

"And within it… a nameless girl who drank the light of dying stars."

My heart pounded.

"Half woman.

Half scar of the universe."

Her name appeared.

Eclipse.

The world tilted.

"She erased kingdoms as if they were metaphors."

"She turned love into roots feeding on graves."

"She stitched mouths shut with falling needles of rain."

I couldn't stop.

"She does not forgive."

"She does not forget."

"She weaves oblivion."

The final line burned into me:

"When she laughs… constellations are born—only to die before being named."

I closed the book.

Too much.

— "I need to go home…"

🌒 The Dream

That night…

I made a mistake.

I fell asleep.

And woke somewhere else.

A forest.

A cabin.

The smell—

Blood.

I saw them.

A man with black wings.

A woman beside him.

Holding hands.

Torn apart.

The woman stood.

Walked toward me.

Mirrors grew around us.

Bleeding.

Writing.

"She is closer than you think."

She grabbed me.

— "She lied to you."

Her voice broke something inside me.

— "You chose this."

Then—

She vomited blood over me.

🌑 Awakening

I woke up screaming.

My eye burned.

Blood.

Pouring from it.

— "What the hell is happening to me…?"

I panicked.

Found my pills.

Collapsed.

When I calmed down…

I saw it.

Purple mud footprints.

Across my room.

She had been there.

Or worse.

She still was.

🌸 The Tree

The next morning—

A call.

Kim.

— "The Thar'nöth tree is blooming."

I ran.

The tree stood alone on a hill.

Massive.

Ancient.

Alive.

Its petals fell like fragments of a dream.

And on them—

Photos.

Of me.

My entire life.

Even—

Minutes ago.

I turned.

No one.

Then I remembered.

I ran home.

Searched.

Found it.

My diary.

It opened on its own.

A new entry appeared.

Written in blood.

"I'll be waiting at the tree… my fallen angel."

Time.

5:45 PM.

🌑 The Revelation

I returned.

Waited.

The wind grew cold.

She appeared.

On the hill.

I ran toward her.

— "Who are you?!"

— "What do you want from me?!"

She smiled.

— "I've been waiting for you…"

— "My lamb."

— "My fallen angel."

— "My lord of darkness."

My chest tightened.

— "Show yourself!"

She laughed softly.

— "If that is what you desire…"

She removed her hood.

Blonde hair.

Violet eyes.

My world shattered.

— "…Professor Natasha…?"

She smiled.

Not kindly.

Not human.

— "No, Dark."

The wind howled.

— "It's time you learned the truth."

— "Natasha… never existed."

Silence.

— "I am a witch."

The air bent around her.

— "I am older than your world."

Her eyes devoured the light.

— "I am chaos."

— "I am death."

— "I am hunger."

— "I am despair."

Each word felt like a nail in reality.

— "I am the one who eclipses the sun."

She stepped closer.

— "The one who devours the sky."

A smile.

Beautiful.

Terrifying.

— "I am Eclipse."

A pause.

And then—

Her true name.

— "Ereos… Aether… Eclipse."

And in that moment—

I understood.

This wasn't the beginning.

It was the moment everything…

finally revealed itself.
