🕯️ Scene 1: The Boy in the Alley
It's October in New York City, 2138. The skyline is a jagged crown of neon signs and rusted fire escapes, the streets below pulsing with noise and shadow. Gideon Young, seventeen, wiry and restless, slips through the back alleys of Brooklyn. His hoodie is torn, his sneakers scuffed, but his eyes burn with determination.
He's been living off-grid since his mother vanished six months ago. No family. No home. Just scraps of food, stolen batteries, and the one clue she left behind: a torn photograph. In it, she stands beside a man in a trench coat, marked with a strange emblem — a flaming steel mask.
Gideon's been chasing whispers, following rumors of masked men and hidden labs. Tonight, the whispers lead him deeper into the city's underbelly. The alley smells of oil and rain, the walls tagged with graffiti that seems to hum with meaning. He clutches the photo, muttering to himself.
Gideon – whispering "Mom… where did you go?"
A shadow flickers at the end of the alley. A clue. A trap. Or both. Gideon steps forward.
🧬 Scene 2: The Lab Beneath the Church
The trail leads Gideon to an abandoned cathedral, its stained glass shattered, its pews rotting. He pushes past the altar and finds something impossible: a hidden elevator, its panel glowing faintly.
The elevator descends with a groan, carrying him into the earth. When the doors open, he steps into a forgotten lab. Dust coats consoles, shattered glass crunches underfoot, and the air hums with static.
At the center of the room stands a containment pod. Inside: a suit. Sleek, metallic, laced with glowing red veins that pulse like blood.
A voice echoes from the terminal, mechanical and cold. Terminal – "PHANTOM PROTOCOL: INITIATE."
Before Gideon can react, the pod hisses open. The suit lunges forward, wrapping around him like a living thing. Metal fuses to skin, wires burrow into nerves. Pain sears through him, light blinds him, and then—silence.
🕸️ Scene 3: Awakening
Gideon wakes sprawled across the lab floor, his body trembling. His breath is ragged, his skin burning. But something is different.
His vision sharpens — he can see heat signatures glowing through walls. His ears ring with electricity, every wire humming like a song. His muscles feel stronger, his reflexes sharper. He moves, and the air bends around him. He can vanish when he wills it.
The suit has fused with his nervous system. He is faster. Stronger. Invisible. But it's not just power — it's a curse.
The suit is a prototype from a secret military project: PHANTOM MAN. Designed to manipulate invisible atoms into raw energy. A weapon. A ghost. A phantom.
And Gideon wasn't supposed to survive the bonding.
🧿 Scene 4: The First Hunt
The silence doesn't last. Within hours, VIREX, the agency behind the Phantom Program, detects the activation. They send a retrieval unit — armored soldiers, drones buzzing overhead, rifles glowing with plasma rounds.
Gideon stumbles into the streets, the suit whispering instructions into his mind. He cloaks, vanishing into shadow. Bullets rip through the air, but he bends magnetic fields, deflecting them. He leaps across rooftops, his body moving like a shadow stitched to the wind.
The chase is brutal. He barely evades capture, learning in seconds what would take years to master. Cloaking. Energy bursts. Magnetic leaps.
By the time he escapes, Gideon is no longer just a runaway. He is something else. Something new.
He is Phantom Man.
🌪️ Scene 5: The Riot Child
The warehouse creaks under the weight of chaos. Flickering halogen lights cast jagged shadows across overturned crates and shattered glass. The air smells of rust and ozone.
Gideon Young, cloaked in Phantom mode, slips inside. He hears it before he sees it — screams, metal bending, walls cracking. At the center of the storm stands a boy, fists glowing red, eyes burning like coals.
Ricky Maocrow. Sixteen. A foster kid with scars deeper than skin. Taken by VIREX weeks ago, they tried to suppress his emotions, to bottle his rage. But rage doesn't bottle. It explodes.
Ricky smashes a crate into splinters, his voice a growl. Ricky – "You with them?"
Gideon uncloaks, his voice steady. Gideon – "No. I'm with you."
The tension breaks. Ricky exhales, his fists dimming slightly. For the first time, he sees not an enemy, but an ally.
🧪 Scene 6: VIREX's Harvest
Elsewhere in the city, VIREX expands its reach. Their black vans prowl the streets, targeting children who won't be missed — orphans, runaways, the forgotten.
They vanish into labs. Some survive the experiments. Most don't.
The agency's goal is monstrous: weaponize emotion. Rage, fear, sorrow — each one a trigger for mutation. Ricky was their prototype. Gideon was their accident.
Now both are fugitives, hunted by the same machine that created them.
🧙♀️ Scene 7: The Boy of Red Hook
Rumors swirl through the underground: a boy in Red Hook harbor. A witch. Not metaphorical — real. His name is Morvena, and he is ancient. He feeds on madness.
VIREX tried to recruit him. He devoured their agents instead.
Gideon and Ricky track him down, hoping for answers. Instead, they walk into a trap.
Morvena appears in illusions — Gideon's mother, smiling but wrong. Ricky's abusive foster father, sneering, fists raised. The witch warps their minds, dredging up pain, guilt, fury.
Ricky's body ignites, the air warping around him. He nearly loses control, rage consuming him. But Gideon reaches him, grounding him with a hand on his shoulder.
Gideon – "It's not real. Stay with me."
Together, they shatter the illusion. Morvena hisses, dissolving into smoke.
⚔️ Scene 8: The Pact
The smoke lingers, whispering words that chill them both. Morvena – "Eighteen flames. One will burn the world."
Then he vanishes.
Gideon and Ricky escape into the night, shaken but bonded. They are not just survivors anymore. They are brothers.
They know VIREX won't stop. The Magnificent 18 are being hunted. But they are also awakening.
And Gideon and Ricky are ready to fight.
🤖 Scene 9: Tekko's Training
Deep beneath Queens, in the tunnels Tyler once called his workshop, Tekko stands among rows of dormant machines. His frame gleams under the flickering lights, his movements precise yet hesitant. Tyler watches, guiding him through drills — lifting, striking, recalibrating sensors.
At first, Tekko moves like a soldier: efficient, mechanical, cold. But then something shifts. His processors spark with fragments of memory. He pauses mid-strike, his optics dimming.
Images flood his mind — not schematics, but feelings. He sees Tyler as a child, laughing with his father. He sees Tyler's mother, smiling at the dinner table. He sees warmth, family, love.
Tekko stumbles, clutching his chest. The heart inside him — Tyler's father's heart — pulses with emotion. He looks at Tyler, confusion in his voice. Tekko – "Why… do I feel this? Why do I remember things that aren't mine?"
Tyler's eyes well with tears. He steps forward, placing a hand on Tekko's arm. Tyler – "Because you're not just a robot. You carry my father's heart. His memories… his love. That's what makes you more than metal."
Tekko kneels, his massive frame lowering to Tyler's level. He hugs him, awkward but sincere. Tekko – "Then I will honor him. I will protect you. I will protect humans."
Tyler smiles, wiping his tears. He gestures to the thousand shut-down robots around them. Tyler – "Then let's start your training. You're not just Tekko. You're an anti-hero now. And when the supernatural comes… you'll be ready."
The tunnel hums with power as Tekko rises, his eyes glowing with resolve. His training has begun — but his memories remind him he is more than a weapon. He is family.
🍔 Scene 10: The Chef's Kiss
The restaurant hums with quiet chatter as Nathan and Magika wait for their order. Outside, Ryan snores in the car, and Sae scrolls through YouTube, oblivious. Inside, the smell of sizzling oil and fresh bread fills the air.
Chef Torkai emerges from the kitchen, his apron stained but his smile sharp. He sets down plates with a flourish. Torkai – "Bon appétit."
But before anyone can take a bite, the doors slam open. A rogue mutant storms in — Mr. Damage. His eyes gleam with malice, his hands clutching a plasma rifle. Without hesitation, he opens fire. Customers scream, tables overturn, glass shatters.
Nathan leaps to shield Magika, but Torkai doesn't flinch. He drops a chef's line, voice calm even as chaos erupts. Torkai – "Cooking is war. And tonight… the kitchen fights back."
He grabs a pan, spinning it like a weapon. As he cooks — flipping burgers, searing steaks, tossing fries — something impossible happens. The more food he prepares, the more people eat, the stronger he becomes.
His muscles swell, his speed sharpens, his bones harden like steel. Every bite consumed by terrified customers fuels him further. His ability awakens: Chef's Kiss.
Mr. Damage snarls, firing round after round. Torkai dodges with superhuman agility, slamming him with a skillet, sending him crashing into a wall. The battle rages across the restaurant — bullets against knives, plasma against flame.
Nathan watches, stunned. Nathan – thinking "He's… incredible."
Magika smirks, sipping her beer. Magika – "Told you dinner would be exciting."
The clash intensifies. Mr. Damage roars, his rifle glowing red-hot. Torkai counters, hurling a pot of boiling broth, steam engulfing the mutant. He follows with a devastating strike — a ladle to the jaw, powered by bone density that could shatter concrete.
The restaurant shakes as the battle reaches its peak. Customers cheer, half in terror, half in awe. Nathan realizes he's witnessing something rare: a chef who fights with flavor, a warrior whose strength is fed by his art.
And tonight, the kitchen is his battlefield.
🗻 Scene 11: Whisper Against the Giant
The forest of Mysteria is silent, save for the tremors of the mountain giant searching for prey. Dreadmoore and Lia Moonwhisper crouch low behind jagged rocks, their breaths shallow, their hearts pounding. The giant's footsteps shake the earth, each one like thunder rolling across the land.
Suddenly, the silence shatters. Gosiame's body, lifeless in Dreadmoore's arms, jolts violently. It ululates — a piercing, otherworldly screech — and then, impossibly, it begins to run on its own. Its movements are jerky, unnatural, like a puppet pulled by invisible strings.
Dreadmoore – shocked "Gosiame…?!"
He scrambles after her, desperation overriding caution. The giant turns, its molten eyes locking onto the commotion. It roars, the sound splitting the sky, and begins to chase them.
The ground quakes as the massive creature closes in, its shadow swallowing the forest. Trees splinter under its stride, boulders crumble as it advances. Dreadmoore's lungs burn as he runs, clutching at the air, trying to reach Gosiame's runaway body.
Beside him, Lia's eyes narrow. She stops, her small frame trembling but resolute. She leans forward, whispering into the air, her voice soft yet commanding. Lia – whispering "Die quietly."
The words ripple like a spell. The giant stumbles mid-step, its roar caught in its throat. Its massive body shudders, then collapses with a deafening crash, shaking the forest floor. Silence follows, broken only by the faint echo of Lia's whisper.
Dreadmoore freezes, staring at her in awe. Dreadmoore – breathless "You… killed a giant with a whisper."
Lia hugs herself, her eyes wide but calm. Lia – "Words can bend the strongest will. Even giants must listen."
The forest settles, but the mystery deepens. Gosiame's body continues to move, dragging them toward a fate neither understands.
🌲 Scene 12: Guardian of the Jungle
The forest is thick with mist, branches clawing at the sky. Nkumkani, Terrance, and Draven drag the massive body of the Thunderbird, its feathers dimmed, its storm silenced. The air is heavy, the silence unnatural.
Suddenly, the ground trembles. Leaves rustle. From the shadows emerges Koa, the Jungle's Guardian. His eyes gleam with primal fury, his aura alive with the voices of beasts. His ability: Animal Communication.
The forest itself seems to breathe with him. Birds shriek overhead, wolves growl from the underbrush, serpents coil around roots.
Koa – roaring "You trespass in sacred ground. The Thunderbird belongs to the jungle, not to thieves!"
Nkumkani drops the Thunderbird's wing, his voice sharp. Nkumkani – "We are not thieves. We are protectors. Step aside, Guardian."
Terrance raises his fists, defiant. Terrance – "I don't care who you are. You attack us, you'll regret it."
Draven smirks, his tone mocking even in danger. Draven – "Oh great, another self-righteous jungle man. Let me guess — you talk to squirrels?"
The forest answers. A pack of wolves emerges, snarling. Birds dive from the canopy, talons flashing. Snakes slither across the ground, hissing.
Koa – commanding "They are my voice. My army. My law."
Nkumkani grips his blade, his voice steady. Nkumkani – "Then we fight. For the Thunderbird. For survival."
Terrance cracks his knuckles, stepping forward. Terrance – "Bring it on, jungle boy."
Draven laughs, pulling a dagger. Draven – "Hope your squirrels bite hard."
The battle erupts. Wolves leap, birds slash, serpents coil. Koa moves like the forest itself, every strike backed by the fury of nature. The trio fights back, steel against claw, defiance against primal wrath.
The jungle roars, the Thunderbird's body lies between them, and the Guardian's judgment hangs heavy in the air.
⚔️ Scene 13: Chaos vs. Death
The night sky above the city splits open with fury. Thanatos and Mikah Havok rise into the air, their powers colliding. Chaos and Death. The heavens flash as if the stars themselves are at war.
Below, Hypnos and Marrow Rotbone clash in their own duel. Hypnos, calm as ever, hurls a can of soup at Marrow. Hypnos – smirking "Dinner is served."
Marrow snarls, his hand reaching out. The can begins to rot, metal decaying in his grip. Marrow – "Everything I touch… withers."
But Hypnos's eyes glow, his voice soft and commanding. Hypnos – "Sleep."
Marrow collapses instantly, snoring as his body hits the ground. Hypnos dusts his hands, muttering. Hypnos – "Works every time."
Meanwhile, in the sky, the true storm rages. Mikah channels raw chaos, his body glowing with unstable energy. Mikah – "You think death scares me? Chaos is eternal!"
Thanatos's aura darkens, shadows swirling around him. He raises his hand, summoning his second technique. Thanatos – "Technique II… Reaper's Embrace."
A colossal spectral reaper manifests behind him, its scythe gleaming with black fire. With a single swing, the giant reaper slashes across the sky, cutting into Mikah with devastating force.
Mikah reels, but his laughter echoes. Mikah – "You think that's enough? Chaos bites harder!"
He unleashes his first technique. Mikah – "Technique I… Chaos Jaw!"
A monstrous mouth made entirely of chaos energy erupts from the void, snapping shut around Thanatos. The bite shakes the sky, tearing through clouds, lightning exploding outward.
Thanatos grits his teeth, shadows wrapping around him as the Chaos Jaw clamps down. Thanatos – "Death does not yield."
The clash becomes apocalyptic — chaos jaws gnashing against the reaper's scythe, each strike shaking the heavens. Below, Hypnos watches calmly, Marrow still asleep at his feet.
Hypnos – dryly "They're going to wake the whole city."
The battle rages on, chaos and death locked in a duel that could split the world in two.
🧻 Scene 14: The Tissue Mutant
In a cramped apartment in Queens, CJ — the anti-hero known as Super Toilet Paper — slouches on a battered couch. The glow of the TV flickers across his face as he lazily flips channels. On-screen, mythical beasts clash with armored heroes, supernatural titans roar against armies. CJ imagines himself there, fighting alongside them, his tissue powers wrapping monsters into knots.
But the fantasy fades. He sighs, muttering to himself. CJ – "Who am I kidding? I'm useless. Even my superpower's a joke."
He digs into a bowl of cornflakes, crunch echoing in the silence. The milk is warm, the flakes soggy. He stares at the screen, half-bored, half-broken.
Then his phone buzzes. A notification. He checks it, hope flickering. It's his job application. Rejected. Again.
CJ – groaning "Figures. Even supermarkets don't want the tissue guy."
Another notification pops up. This one freezes him. A bounty alert. His name blazes across the screen:
"TARGET: The Tissue Mutant. Reward: 900,000 Gemecoins. Any supernatural or human hunter authorized to capture or kill."
CJ's spoon clatters into the bowl. His heart pounds. He screams, clutching his head. CJ – "No, no, no! Why me?! I just wanted a job!"
The weight crashes down on his shoulders, heavier than anything he's ever felt. He's not just rejected. He's hunted.
The TV continues to play, mythical heroes saving worlds. CJ stares at them, his breath ragged. For the first time, he realizes his fantasy isn't just a dream. It's survival.
And the hunters are already coming.
⚽ Scene 15: Penalties and Bounties
The soccer field hums under the floodlights, the grass damp with evening dew. Mackenzie Zarzaian a supernatural with creation ability and Deluxe Krushjaw a Hyena Hybrid and INFECTIOUS SPEECH stand at the penalty line, training shots long after practice has ended. The ball thuds against the net, echoing in the empty stadium.
Deluxe wipes sweat from his brow, grinning. Deluxe – "You know the key to striking a perfect goal? Rizz."
Mackenzie freezes, glaring at him. She picks up a discarded soda can and hurls it at his chest. Mackenzie – "Stop being a stupid asshole!"
Deluxe laughs, catching the can midair. Deluxe – "Hey, it's always good to bring a little light into the dark, dumbass."
Mackenzie shakes her head, muttering. Mackenzie – "You never take anything seriously."
Before Deluxe can reply, both of their phones buzz. Notifications flash across the screens. A bounty alert. Their names. Their faces.
TARGETS: Mackenzie Zarzaian & Deluxe Skullrend. Reward: 1,200,000 Gemecoins. Authorized for capture or kill.
The air grows heavy. Mackenzie's stomach drops. Mackenzie – "This isn't a joke. We're being hunted."
Deluxe smirks, dark humor cutting through the tension. Deluxe – "Well, at least they priced us high. I'd be offended if we were cheap."
Mackenzie snaps, her voice sharp. Mackenzie – "This isn't about money! Stop making jokes. Take this seriously, Deluxe. We could die."
The ball rolls across the field, forgotten. The floodlights flicker. Somewhere beyond the stadium, hunters are already moving.
And the game has just changed.
🌌 Scene 16: The Spirit Skein
The Spirit Skein stretches endlessly — a realm of woven light and shadow, threads of energy drifting like rivers across the void. Gosiame wanders, her body translucent, her soul tethered to the living world yet pulled deeper into the unseen.
From the mist emerges a figure: Perseus, a mutant whose gift is spirit energy manipulation. His aura glows faintly, his eyes reflecting galaxies. He steps forward, calm but commanding. Perseus – "You are not lost. You are chosen. Come — let me show you the realm."
He guides her through the skein. Spirits drift past — some whispering, some screaming, some silent as stone. Threads of memory coil around them, each one a life, a death, a story.
As they walk, Perseus gestures to a boy sitting at the edge of a broken bridge of light. His eyes are wide, haunted, yet gentle. Perseus – "This is Silas Odede. He sees what others cannot. The dead spirits cling to him, but he endures."
Silas looks up, his voice trembling but sincere. Silas – "I thought I was cursed… until Perseus saved me. Now I know — the dead don't haunt me. They teach me."
Gosiame kneels beside him, her spirit flickering. Gosiame – "You live between worlds. That is strength, not weakness."
Silas smiles faintly, the shadows around him easing. Perseus places a hand on Gosiame's shoulder, his voice steady. Perseus – "The Spirit Skein is not just a prison. It is a path. Every soul here carries power. And you, Gosiame, must learn to wield it."
The realm hums, threads of spirit energy tightening around them. Gosiame feels her essence shift, her body lighter, her mind sharper. For the first time, she realizes the Skein is not pulling her down — it is lifting her up.
Together, Perseus, Silas, and Gosiame walk deeper into the woven light, toward a destiny that binds the living and the dead.
🧪 Scene 17: The Trickster and the Applehead
The lab hums with fluorescent light, its walls lined with broken machinery and half-finished experiments. At the center, Akane — the hare mutant, notorious trickster — lounges casually on a stool, her long ears twitching with mischief.
Across from her, bound to a chair with reinforced cables, sits Applehead — a literal mutant with the head of a shiny red apple. His eyes blink nervously from the fruit's surface, his voice muffled but sharp.
Akane twirls a scalpel between her fingers, her grin sly. Akane – "So, Applehead… who's sending the bounties? Who's putting prices on our backs?"
Applehead squirms, the cables creaking. Applehead – "You think I'd tell you? They'll peel me alive if I talk."
Akane leans closer, her voice playful but edged with menace. Akane – "Peel you? Honey, I could slice you into a fruit salad right now. So talk."
Applehead gulps, his stem trembling. Applehead – "It's… it's VIREX. They're behind it. They want mutants hunted, controlled, erased. Every bounty is their leash."
Akane tilts her head, pretending to be unimpressed. Akane – "VIREX again. Figures. Always trying to play god with broken toys."
She hops off the stool, pacing around him. Akane – "But why you? Why an apple for a head? What's your role in this?"
Applehead sighs, his voice bitter. Applehead – "I was their messenger. I delivered the bounties. I didn't choose this… I was forced."
Akane stops, her grin fading into something sharper. Akane – "Forced or not, you've painted targets on all of us. And now you're going to help me erase them."
Applehead trembles, realizing the trickster hare isn't just playing games. She's deadly serious.
The lab grows quiet, the hum of machines echoing like a heartbeat. Akane's eyes gleam with mischief and menace, her ears twitching as if listening to secrets only she can hear.
Akane – softly "The hunt begins. And you, Applehead, are my first clue."
🧪 Scene 18: The Eldion Flashback
The lab is tense. Applehead, bound and trembling, finally breaks under Akane's sly interrogation. His voice quivers as he reveals the truth. Applehead – "It wasn't just VIREX… Area 51 was working with them. And it all goes back… to the Eldion Institute. 2022."
The lights flicker. Akane's ears twitch as the Spirit Skein itself seems to ripple. A flashback begins.
🔥 Redfern Ridge, November 15, 2022
Seven scientists gather in a hidden facility: Kent Lockhood, Vila Kington, Quan Warden, Lisa Paloma, Garry Black, Frankenstein Freeman, and Layla Olfe.
They've discovered a mysterious energy radiating from an abandoned house. The air hums with mutagenic potential.
Kent – "Prepare Protocol: MUTAGEN. Now, Dr. Hann." Vila – smiling darkly "Human evolution is coming… really soon."
The scientists begin kidnapping humans, experimenting on them, dumping them in cages. Screams echo through the halls.
Garry – "Fucking monsters, always screeching and screaming." Lisa – "I know, right? Useless. I… think we should take the mutagen for ourselves." Garry – grinning "Yes. Haha, I love that plan." Lisa – "We'll be the strongest of all!"
But a mutant overhears them. Kent walks past its cage. Mutant – weakly "Hey… hey… the others… they want the mutagen… for themselves…"
Kent's face twists from confusion to rage. Kent – "What? Who?!" Mutant – "Gar… something… Lisa…" collapses unconscious.
Kent storms off, suspicion burning. He confronts Vila. Kent – "We need to shut this down." Vila – "This is human evolution!" Kent – "Vila—"
A gunshot. Vila shoots Kent in the chest. He falls, bleeding. Kent – dying "I will… find you… and kill you… Kingto…" His body goes limp.
Vila drags him into a tunnel, sobbing. Vila – "Don't be a bitch about it, Kent. You'll be okay…"
💥 October 17, 2022 – The Eldion Institute Massacre
Two days later, chaos erupts. The lab explodes. Supernaturals break free, roaring, growling, screeching.
On a burning bridge, Garry, Lisa, Quan, Frank, and Layla fight to escape. Frank trips, falling into fire. Quan – "FRANK! NOOOOOOO!"
Garry and Lisa betray Layla and Quan, fleeing. A monster devours Lisa brutally. Garry – "OH MY GOD!" The monster eats Garry alive, his screams echoing.
Quan – "Layla, run! Now!" Layla – crying "No, I can't leave you!" Quan pushes her away as his arm glows faintly with blue veins.
Meanwhile, Vila searches Kent's body for a keycard — but his corpse is gone. Vila – "Shit! Where is he?!"
Behind her, Frank appears with an iron bat. Vila – "Frank… help me, please!" Frank – "You killed my colleagues. Kent was a good man. Now he's on a rampage of vengeance." Vila – "He's dead! How?!" Frank – "Supernaturality. You whore. You used to be a stripper, a sex worker. You're useless!"
He beats her savagely, stomping her chest, punching her stomach and kidneys. Vila screams as the lab collapses in fire.
Layla escapes, sobbing, burdened with the deaths of her colleagues.
🧩 Back to the Present
The flashback fades. Applehead trembles, his voice weak. Applehead – "The files… everything… it's in the vault of VIREX."
Akane's grin sharpens, her ears twitching. Akane – "Then that's where I'll go. The vault holds the truth. And maybe… the key to ending this hunt."
The lab grows silent. The past has bled into the present, and the ghosts of Eldion still whisper in the shadows.
Scene 19: Glitchpoint
In a dark apartment lit only by the glow of monitors, the Hacker sits hunched over their rig. Fingers fly across the keyboard, screens flicker with cascading code. Their mutant ability — Glitchpoint — allows them to pierce digital firewalls, distort signals, and pinpoint targets across the world.
The monitors ripple like water, faces appearing one by one: Nathan, Ryan, Ricky, Gideon, Applehead, Sae, Thanatos, Mikah, Marrow, Hypnos, and Magika. Each image locks into place, coordinates tagged, profiles exposed.
The Hacker smirks, whispering to themselves. Hacker – "Got you all. Every last one."
With a keystroke, the files transmit. VIREX receives them instantly. Area 51 intercepts the same feed. Within minutes, the agencies respond.
Notifications flood the Hacker's screen: BOUNTY ISSUED.
Nathan – 1,000,000 Gemecoins
Ryan – 850,000 Gemecoins
Ricky – 900,000 Gemecoins
Gideon – 1,200,000 Gemecoins
Applehead – 600,000 Gemecoins
Sae – 750,000 Gemecoins
Thanatos – 2,000,000 Gemecoins
Mikah – 1,800,000 Gemecoins
Marrow – 1,500,000 Gemecoins
Hypnos – 1,400,000 Gemecoins
Magika – 1,100,000 Gemecoins
The numbers glow like death warrants.
The Hacker leans back, sipping cold coffee, their eyes reflecting the bounty board. Hacker – "Now the hunters will come. Supernatural, human… doesn't matter. Everyone wants a payday."
Across the city, phones buzz. Mercenaries, mutants, bounty hunters, and assassins all receive the same alert. The hunt has begun.
For Nathan and his allies, survival is no longer about hiding. It's about enduring the storm unleashed by one keystroke.
🌑 Scene 20: The Black Moon
In a dim observatory on the edge of Queens, three figures huddle around a glowing holographic table. Koloy, sharp-eyed and restless, flips through digital star charts. Aiden, calm and methodical, adjusts the telescope's alignment. Henry, the youngest, scribbles frantic notes, his pen scratching like thunder.
Above them, the sky is clear, but their focus is not on the stars. It is on the Black Moon — a celestial anomaly whispered about in both science and myth.
Koloy leans forward, tapping the hologram. Koloy – "It's not just a shadow. Look at the readings. The Black Moon isn't reflecting light… it's absorbing it. Feeding on it."
Aiden adjusts his glasses, his voice steady. Aiden – "Absorption at this scale means it's not a natural satellite. It's an energy construct. Something… designed."
Henry bites his lip, his voice trembling. Henry – "Designed by who? Or… by what?"
The hologram flickers, revealing faint pulses of energy radiating from the Black Moon. Each pulse aligns with strange events across the city — mutant awakenings, supernatural hunts, unexplained disappearances.
Koloy slams his fist on the table. Koloy – "It's all connected. The bounties, VIREX, Area 51… they're studying this too. The Black Moon is their power source."
Aiden shakes his head, muttering. Aiden – "Or their weapon."
Henry scribbles faster, his notes filling with equations and sketches. Henry – "If it's a weapon, then it's already active. Every pulse is a trigger. Every awakening… is tied to it."
The room grows tense. The Black Moon looms larger in their minds, a silent predator in the sky.
Koloy exhales, his voice low but resolute. Koloy – "Then we study harder. We find the truth before they do. Because if the Black Moon falls… so does everything."
The three exchange glances, the weight of their discovery pressing down. Outside, the night sky glimmers — but the Black Moon waits, unseen, feeding, watching.
🍺 Scene 21: Rum and Revelation
A bar in Berlin hums with low chatter, the smell of smoke and old wood heavy in the air. Tiago Moura, a Portuguese historian with tired eyes and a worn satchel, steps inside. He takes a seat at the counter, nodding to the barman.
Elijah Schiedner, tall, broad-shouldered, with a calm German voice, wipes down a glass. Elijah – "What type of drink?" Tiago – "A cup of rum." Elijah chuckles, correcting him. Elijah – "You mean a glass of rum." Tiago – smiling faintly "Oh yes, a glass."
They share a quiet moment until Tiago leans closer, lowering his voice. Tiago – "Hey… sir. Did you get a notification? About your bounty?"
Elijah freezes, his hand tightening around the glass. Elijah – "How do you know that?"
Tiago sighs, pulling a small cube from his satchel. It glows faintly, pulsing with strange energy. Tiago – "Because I have one too. Ever since I found this… cube."
The cube's glow intensifies. Suddenly, the bar explodes with gunfire. A bounty hunter crashes through the door — a grotesque figure named Veylith Krag, his body stitched with jagged scars, his ability known as Bone Reversal: he can invert his own skeleton, turning bones into weapons that pierce outward like blades.
Veylith – snarling "Two bounties in one night. Easy money."
He fires into the bar, bottles shattering, patrons screaming. Tiago and Elijah dive for cover. Tiago scrambles toward the exit, fumbling for his keys. They burst outside, rushing into Tiago's car.
The engine roars, tires screeching. But Veylith leaps onto the roof, his bones protruding like spears. He smashes through the windshield, dragging Tiago out and hurling him onto the pavement.
Tiago's vision blurs. He sees Elijah rise into the air — his body glowing with radiant energy. Elijah's ability awakens: Super Flight.
With a roar, Elijah smashes into Veylith, driving him through walls, splintering brick and steel. The bounty hunter crashes, bones snapping back into place with grotesque cracks.
Elijah swoops down, grabbing Tiago, lifting him into the night sky. Elijah – "I have some friends. They're going to help us. Okay?"
Tiago, dizzy and bleeding, nods weakly. The cube glows in his hand, its light reflecting in Elijah's determined eyes.
The hunt has begun, but now they are not alone.
🐺 Scene 22: Lone Howl
The room is dim, lit only by the pale glow of the moon through cracked blinds. Shatterwolfe sits on his bed, staring at the floor, his hands trembling. His voice is low, half a whisper, half a laugh. Shatterwolfe – "I never truly had a best friend. Always a lone wolf… hahaha."
His veins pulse, glowing faintly beneath his skin. The rhythm grows stronger, like drums of war. His body convulses, bones shifting, muscles tearing and reforming. His breath becomes ragged, his teeth elongate into jaw-breaking fangs.
The transformation completes — fur bristles across his body, claws scrape against the wooden floor, and his eyes blaze with feral light. He is no longer man. He is wolf.
He tilts his head back and unleashes his Echo Howl — a howl that reverberates through the night, not just sound but command. The howl ripples across the city, carried by unseen currents.
In the distance, wolves stir. Packs hidden in forests, strays wandering alleys, even spectral wolves in the Spirit Skein — all turn their heads, their eyes glowing. They hear him. They obey.
Shatterwolfe lowers his head, panting, his voice guttural but resolute. Shatterwolfe – "Alone no more. The wolves are mine."
The room shakes with the resonance of his howl. Outside, shadows move. Wolves gather, drawn to their new alpha. Shatterwolfe stands at the window, his silhouette framed by moonlight, a predator reborn.
For the first time, he feels the weight of belonging. Not a best friend. Not a human bond. But a pack. A legion.
And the world will soon learn the power of his howl.
⚔️ Scene 23: The Vanishing Line
The alley is silent except for the echo of fists. Damon drives his punch straight into Law, the impact cracking the air like thunder. Law staggers back, his body flickering as if reality itself is rejecting him.
He smirks faintly, blood dripping from his lip. Law – hauntingly "You can't fight what's already written… and you can't escape the law."
With those words, his body dissolves into shadow, vanishing completely. The alley falls quiet, leaving Damon alone with the echo of that chilling line.
Then, faintly, Damon hears it — crying. Soft, broken sobs carried on the wind. He follows the sound, his boots crunching against gravel, until he finds a figure slumped against a wall.
It's Kevin Leister. His face buried in his hands, shoulders shaking. Tears streak down his cheeks, his voice trembling. Kevin – "I… I can't take it anymore. Everything's falling apart. Everyone's dying… and I'm next."
Damon pauses, his anger cooling into something heavier. He kneels beside Kevin, his voice low but steady. Damon – "You're not alone. I've lost too… but crying doesn't make you weak. It means you still care."
Kevin looks up, his eyes red, his breath ragged. Damon places a hand on his shoulder, grounding him. The night feels heavier, but also strangely lighter — as if in that moment, two broken souls found a fragile connection.
The fight with Law may have ended, but Damon realizes the real battle is keeping hope alive.
