The chaos in the quad got wild when Hawk showed off his crazy strength. Rahale was stunned by how fierce Hawk was and rushed to help Golgo, who was hurt. Hawk was out cold on the ground, but his body was still moving in a scary way. His arms and legs were twitching, and he was making weird faces, like he was some kind of wild animal.
Then, Vager, who's No. 2 in the Mosquito Group, showed up. He walked in with a big grin, knowing he was about to make a big scene. "Think I'm the most hated guy here? Didn't I?" he said, laughing. Then he focused on Hawk. "Hey, doggy!
Bark!"
Hawk just lay there, not moving, but his body was acting on its own. Vager, thinking it was all a game, kicked Hawk. The kick hit, but Hawk's body didn't even flinch. Vager pulled his leg back and looked surprised. "That's weird," he said, looking a bit shocked.
But he quickly got over it and started acting all cool again. "Come on, man, don't be mad at me! I'm the strongest here." Then he smirked and kicked Hawk in the back. Hawk's body moved just in time and dodged the kick.
Vager started explaining why he was so confident. He talked about something called "Mastery." He said Hawk was using animal instincts but wasn't very good at it. Vager, on the other hand, was really good at it. He had Mastery in Speed.
Mastery is like a level you can reach in any physical skill, like strength, speed, or endurance etc. There are three levels: "In," "Of," and "Over." "In" is when you're just starting to get good at something. "Of" is when you're in the middle. "Over" is when you're the best at it. Vager was at the "In" level in Speed.
Vager was having a lot of fun messing with Hawk, who was just reacting on instinct. Vager kicked Hawk seven times out of ten, and Hawk couldn't even touch him. Vager was laughing, thinking he was winning easily.
But then Sonic walked over. Sonic had been feeling brave and was ready to fight. Vager stopped laughing and gave Sonic a challenging smile. "You're really gonna use that on me now? Against me?" he said, talking about Sonic's secret powers. "if You Are then I'm really really really really Gonna looking forward to it, That gonna be so fun!"
It looked like things were about to get even more intense.
