Lucifer's POV
As soon as I stepped into my bakery, the familiar scent of fresh pastries, vanilla, and sugar wrapped around me like a comforting embrace that I had gotten used to over the years.
Tanya looked up from the front counter and smiled warmly. "Welcome, Miss Sabrina."
I returned the smile, my voice soft and genuine... the version of me that my staff and customers knew comes naturally. "Thanks, Tanya. How are you?"
"I am fine," she replied, her smile brightening.
I nodded. "Good."
I made my way through the shop with confident, graceful steps, nodding politely to a couple of early customers before heading straight to my office.
As soon as I closed the door behind me, I dropped my designer handbag on the desk, removed my tailored blazer, and hung it neatly behind my chair before settling into the plush seat and letting out a small, satisfied sigh.
