Lucifer's POV
The second those vehicles finished surrounding us, I knew this wasn't some random interruption... This was a setup, an ambush.
A fucking problem.
Dust hung in the air around us as engines died one after another. The vehicles formed a circle, trapping both our SUV and the Derulo brothers' cars right in the middle.
Red and I immediately moved back-to-back, my pistol was raised and his rifle was aimed in the opposite direction.
Every instinct inside me screamed danger.
Around us, my men quietly shifted into position. Some crouched behind vehicles. Others used the trucks as cover. Every single one of them had their weapons ready.
The Derulo brothers weren't looking relaxed either... Carlos already had his gun drawn, Fabian's jaw was clenched and Matteo looked ready to start a war.
Red tightened his grip on his weapon. "I shouldn't have accepted meeting here."
I didn't take my eyes off the surrounding vehicles.
