Having finished his words, Michael looked as though he was regretting saying something discouraging. Not even one expression from him gave me any chance of suspicion.
To start, there was a high possibility that he was not the hidden villain, and if it turned out that he was, then it would make him the ‘final boss’ character capable of controlling every detailed expression and paint a big picture.
I would dearly like him to be the former, but….
