The once silent mansion became a grisly scene as if it was struck by a meteorite. Hades, standing tall in the middle of that mess, looked just like a demon that climbed up from the depths of hell.
As I stared at him silently, my nervous throat subconsciously gave out a gulping sound.
Er, maybe… that guy is more dangerous than these guys? Wouldn’t an angel be better? For a moment I stood wondering which side I should take if I am to keep my life, until Michael held me and made me snap back to reality.
“Lady Heathcliff! What is all this….”
“Ahhhhh!”
I screamed out as I freed myself from Michael’s arm and ran towards Hades. Hades still stood there with a death glare amidst the rising smoke, and snatched me close when I drew near him and hid me behind his back.
“What’s going on?”
As Hades turned back at me to ask what was going on, Michael quickly approached us.
