In the middle of the complete stillness of the night, beneath the stars and the bright white moon, you feel calm, and you cannot take your eyes off the stars that adorn the earth and the moon that illuminates the darkness of the night.
"Wonderful, this beautiful scene is truly touching, but I want to go to sleep."
That was what Lang Biol said while sitting on a chair outside the house, covering his body with a white blanket, his eyes tired and red because of the bitter cold.
"You little fool, enjoy the calm of the night and contemplate the beauty of the stars. Instead of training all day, eating and sleeping, try to enjoy something, even if it is just staring at the moon and the stars for three minutes."
It was his old master who scolded him while preparing tea.
The old man was trying to make Lang Biol feel safe and look at the clear sky and reflect instead of sleeping, eating, and training every day. But Lang Biol did not understand why the old man prevented him from sleeping and took him outside into the freezing cold just to sit beside him, drink tea, and look at the sky. He felt that the old man had gone mad. How could he ask him to stare at the stars and think at night while demanding intense training during the day? When was he supposed to sleep?
But the thread of his thoughts and the hateful look he was giving the old man were interrupted by the cup of tea the old man handed to him. He took a sip of the tea and looked at the sky, then began rambling about the importance of the moon and the stars.
"Lang Biol, what is the importance of the stars and the moon?"
Lang Biol was annoyed by the question because he was about to drink the tea, but the question stopped him. So he did not think much and answered without overthinking.
"They light the way at night, and without them we cannot see anything."
But the old man became furious and called him a fool who cared only about swords. Lang Biol did not care about what the old man said and continued drinking his tea.
After seeing that Lang Biol was not interested in thinking, the old man let out a long sigh and decided to explain.
"Half of what you said is correct, but the other half is wrong. The moon lights the path, but the stars help you find your own way. If you are in the desert, or the ocean, or in the middle of a vast forest, they help you find your way to the place you lost."
The old man looked at Lang Biol and saw him thinking. He smiled, feeling that he finally understood and began to appreciate the life he was living, and that everything in the world has something that helps you remain balanced.
But that hope was quickly shattered by Lang Biol, who said,
"Well, but did you know that drinking tea at night is not good for your health because it prevents you from sleeping?"
The old man said nothing.
"Lang Biol, wake up. Are you alright? Wake up!"
It was a familiar voice, but he could not remember it.
Suddenly, he woke up and looked around. His vision was blurred, but it became clearer with every second. It was his older brother, Lang Rion.
Biol felt dizzy and nauseous. His brother said, "Biol, do not try to hold back the vomiting, it is…"
But Lang Biol did not listen at all and began vomiting.
Rion was shocked because the Lang Biol he knew would never do such a thing carelessly, but he remembered that he had to help him. After he finished vomiting, Rion sat at the table and ordered the maid to clean the floor. He brought a cup of water and told him to drink it slowly.
Lang Biol took the cup and began to drink. The dizziness started to fade, and he felt a little better.
His brother immediately asked, "What were you doing? When I heard the maid scream, I rushed to your room and found you unconscious."
Lang Biol looked at him innocently and answered calmly, "I was just checking the condition of my body using Logisnia."
His brother sighed and told him not to do that again because it was dangerous. Some people had destroyed their energy cores because of Logisnia. His brother was speaking angrily and rambling about things he could not fully understand, but all Lang Biol understood was that his brother was worried about him. So he did not argue and simply nodded his head.
After Lang Rion calmed down, he felt that he had exaggerated in scolding him, so he tried to change the subject and asked, "Did you like the tea I brought you?"
Lang Biol knew that this tea was extremely useful and would help him take his first steps, but he did not want to admit that, so he only stated the truth.
Lang Biol said, "No, it was the worst tea I have ever tasted in my life."
Lang Rion said, "Oh, alright. I thought so too, because it is very bitter."
Nevertheless, Lang Rion was happy because his brother had asked him for something like that. Lang Biol had not asked him for anything for a long time. When Lang Biol asked for the tea, he had been extremely happy, even though he did not understand why he wanted it.
Lang Biol did not talk much with his brother Rion, yet Rion cared greatly about his younger brother. Although the age gap was not large, it could be said that Lang Biol was Rion's favorite. Anything Biol asked for, Rion would bring it to him no matter the cost.
Biol knew that, so perhaps he should take advantage of it.
He smiled gently and said,
"Older brother, may I ask you for something?"
Lang Rion smiled happily and nodded, saying,
"Of course, you can ask anything from your older brother. What do you want?"
Lang Biol said, "The Eastern Lotus Map."
Lang Rion said, "I am not your brother, and I do not know who you are."
Lang Rion tried to escape, claiming that it was late. When Lang Biol felt that arguing was useless, he moved to the alternative plan.
"I cannot believe that my older brother, who is supposed to take complete care of me just as Mother told me, refuses to give me something ordinary and useless that no one uses anymore. Tell me, what will happen if I take it for a short time? Tell me?"
Lang Rion began to remember their mother, who used to smile and say that she hoped they would become the best of brothers. She asked him to always do whatever Lang Biol requested, but she did not know that he would ask for something like this.
He looked at Lang Biol, who was staring at him challengingly, and made his decision.
Lang Rion said, "One week."
Lang Biol said, "Three weeks."
Lang Rion said, "Two weeks."
Lang Biol said, "Two weeks and one day, agreed?"
"Fine, agreed. But what will you do with it?"
"Just some things, do not worry. The important thing is that it will return to you in two weeks and one day."
Lang Rion sighed and agreed, and told him that he would give it to him in two days.
Lang Biol accepted that. After that, Lang Rion told him to take care of himself and said,
"It is fine if you do not want to join us for dinner. Just get some rest."
"What? Dinner? But what about lunch?"
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. You were unconscious for four hours, but Father did not know because something happened and he left in a hurry."
"What? Four hours?"
