Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 This is love!

After disappearing from the scene of the forged suicide note (Kumakuna Genin version), Rasa got up, went to the window, and looked out through the window.

It brought almost half of Sunagakure into view.

Everywhere you look, there is yellow.

Barren, desolate, and full of sandstorms.

Even though the walls of Sunagakure are high enough, a lot of sand and dust still gets blown inside.

It landed on houses, on pedestrians, on food...

The people of Sunagakure loathe the sand to the extreme, but there's nothing they can do about it.

"Sunagakure is indeed too lacking in resources."

  Luo Sha shook his head.

Suddenly, two familiar figures came into Luo Sha's line of sight.

  One of them is Yashamaru.

  One of them is Machi.

At this moment, the two were moving at a very fast speed.

Yashamaru and Maki, who received Rasa's orders, were very efficient.

First, the notices were prepared, and then a ninja squad specializing in speed was assembled. They were divided into eight routes to post the notices throughout the entire Sand Village.

Soon a crowd gathered to watch.

"Is Lord Kazekage going to marry Yekura in two days?"

"That's not right. I remember that Lord Kazekage already has a wife and two children."

  "What's going on?"

At this point, Yashamaru and the people that Maki had arranged beforehand began to explain.

"Lord Yecang and Lord Kazekage are actually childhood friends. They pledged their lives to each other when they were young, but a misunderstanding prevented them from being together. Now, the misunderstanding has been cleared up."

"The current wife of the Kazekage was moved by the love between the two and could not bear to see their relationship end in regret. Therefore, she took the initiative to find Lady Yekura and persuaded her to marry the Kazekage."

Upon hearing this, a middle-aged man seemed to realize something, and his eyes welled up with tears.

  "This is love!"

  A young man frowned.

"But wouldn't that mean Lord Kazekage would have two wives at the same time? That's not very appropriate, is it?"

The middle-aged man glared at him.

"What does this matter compared to love? Do you really want Lady Yekura and Lady Kazekage to end in regret? Lady Karura is so righteous, are you going to betray her good intentions?"

"Anyone who tries to ruin such a touching love story is absolutely up to no good!"

The middle-aged man's words resonated with many people.

"That's right. Lord Kazekage and Lord Yekura have no regrets. Lord Karura is so understanding and reasonable. She is a role model for love. What a wonderful thing this is."

"Since none of the three parties involved have any objections, why should others have any?"

"I can't stand seeing others do well."

  Another person said.

"Besides, which daimyo doesn't have several wives and concubines? Even many nobles do. So what if Lord Kazekage has two wives? Who does it bother?"

Soon, the unusual sounds were all drowned out.

The entire village's attitude towards this matter shifted to respect, blessings, and approval, with hopes that Rasa, Karura, and Yokura could live a good life and that their love would have a perfect ending.

Such public opinion is certainly not formed naturally.

Almost all of the high-ranking officials in Sunagakure are taking action.

After all, as Luo Sha said, everything was for the village.

"There's been a rumor circulating in the village lately that the Kazekage agreed to betray Lord Pakura to Kirigakure in order to make peace, but it seems that it was all just a rumor."

"I knew the Kazekage couldn't be that incompetent; it must be a conspiracy by Kirigakure!"

"Now it seems that this was indeed the case."

"However, Kirigakure certainly didn't expect that this conspiracy would actually be a good thing for Lord Kazekage and Lord Pakura, otherwise the misunderstanding between the two might not have been resolved so quickly."

"Now not only have Lord Kazekage and Lord Yekura achieved a perfect love story, but the rumors spread by Kirigakure have also been debunked, allowing us to see their shameless face."

  Suddenly, someone raised a question.

"Why is the wedding of Lord Kazekage and Lord Yekura being held so hastily?"

The sounds around them gradually subsided, and everyone looked at each other, their eyes filled with confusion.

  It was indeed too rushed.

One is the Kazekage of Sunagakure, and the other is a hero of Sunagakure.

The announcement came today that the wedding will take place in two days.

  Why the rush?

As everyone can imagine, the wedding two days later will be very simple.

Everyone felt that it was perfectly acceptable to wait a while longer, to prepare more thoroughly, before holding the wedding.

Only then can one be worthy of the titles of Kazekage and Sunagakure hero.

A somewhat bitter voice rang out.

"It's probably because we're about to have a decisive battle with Kirigakure. The Kazekage and Lady Pakura aren't sure if they can come back alive from the battlefield, and they're worried that if we don't hold it now, we won't have another chance."

"I'm in a hurry because I don't want to have any regrets."

  Immediately, everyone's eyes turned red.

"I didn't expect that Lord Kazekage and Lord Yekura had already made such a commitment. Even so, some people in our village are still thinking about surrendering to Kirigakure. It's really wrong."

"Not only did Kirigakure make such excessive demands, but they also spread such vicious rumors. We absolutely cannot surrender to Kirigakure; we must fight them to the very end!"

"That's right, the worst that can happen is death, but we can't surrender to a despicable village like Kirigakure."

  "Fight to the death!"

Two high-ranking members of Sunagakure sat on the second floor of the tea room, drinking tea and listening to the discussions below.

One of them couldn't help but look in the direction of the Wind Shadow Building, a hint of admiration in his eyes.

"As expected of Lord Kazekage, he is indeed formidable."

"By deliberately waiting for this moment to show his determination to resist the Japanese invasion, he made everyone in Sunagakure see the evil of Kirigakure and their disgust and hatred for Kirigakure reached their peak."

"Furthermore, it adds another crime to Kirigakure by making Kirigakure appear even more despicable in this matter by using the 'love' between myself and Pakura."

"Use the love between myself and Yecang to inspire the villagers, encourage more people to persist in the fight against the Japanese, unite the village, and boost morale."

  The other person agreed.

"If Lord Fengying chooses to fight to the end, this should be the best move."

"Unity, morale, and spirit have all been at their best."

"But on the battlefield, our Sunagakure is still at a disadvantage. We cannot change that. No matter how well we do internally, we cannot change the outcome of the war."

"Our Sand Village faces more than just the Hidden Mist Village as an enemy."

"They will pounce on us as soon as we show signs of collapse."

"They will devour the flesh and blood of our Sunagakure village, bite by bite, until they have completely consumed it."

There was a moment of silence on the other end.

"The only thing we can do now is to trust Lord Kazekage."
