Chapter 6 - TTSF-006

"Easy does it now, that's it, you're doing really great, Zenith." Rosetta praised as she watched Zenith execute a slow, controlled loop midair.

His movements were still a bit stiff, but the way he adjusted his balance mid-turn showed an instinctive grasp of his newfound ability.

"I'm really getting the hang of this!" Zenith laughed happily as he executed a slow spiral upward, the blue glow around him pulsed in time with his emotions.

Rosetta's own laughter chimed beautifully in response. "Well, aren't you a natural?" she teased as she ascended alongside Zenith.

Their path took them upward through the Pixie Dust Tree's leaves and branches.

As they cleared the canopy, Zenith was mesmerized by the sight unfolding before him.

The entire Hollow sprawled beneath them, a glittering tapestry of firefly lights and moonlit rivers cutting silver ribbons through the dark.

"It's even more beautiful than I could've imagined," he murmured, his voice hushed with reverence.

"This way now sugar, there's plenty more for you to see," Rosetta said, her wings shimmering as she turned left toward Spring Valley, where her home was.

"Ok, lead the way, Rosetta." Zenith chuckled lightly as he followed her lead.

His movements were much smoother now, the blue glow stabilizing around him as he matched Rosetta's pace.

"You know, you are our second arrival today," Rosetta mused as they glided through the air.

"Oh really, then who was the first one to arrive?" Zenith asked curiously.

"Her name's Tinkerbell, a tinker-talent fairy, she got here just this mornin'."

"Tinkerbell," Zenith repeated softly, it was a name that he was already quite familiar with.

'It seems that I've been reborn at the very start of the movie's timeline.' Zenith thought as he followed Rosetta's graceful flight path.

The realization sent an unexpected thrill through him.

"Speaking of Tinkerbell, I wonder how the poor thing's holding up," Rosetta sighed, slowing her flight.

"She was so downed after learning that she couldn't go to the Mainland."

Her words hit Zenith suddenly. Tinkerbell not being able to go to the Mainland.

He remembered the story, of course.

It was what caused her to try switching her talent in the first place.

'Then, would I be allowed to go to the Mainland?' The thought struck him as he stilled suddenly.

'Although my talent seems unique, It's not exactly a nature type talent that'd be needed to change the seasons on the Mainland.' He pondered silently.

Rosetta's wings flickered as she tilted her head, "Somethin' troubling you, Zenith?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.

"Oh, it's nothing, I'm ok," he said, forcing a faint smile.

The Mainland of this world wasn't the place he'd come from originally.

Though he'd still like to see it someday if possible.

Rosetta's gaze lingered on Zenith for a moment longer before she gave a soft shrug of her shoulders. "Well, ain't no use dawdling, let's go," she said cheerfully.

Her wings blurred into motion as she darted forward, leaving a trail of golden pixie dust in her wake.

Zenith hesitated for only a second before pushing off, the blue glow flaring brighter around him as he surged after her.

The wind carried the scent of roses as Rosetta led Zenith toward her home, a towering bloom with petals that curled inward like a natural canopy.

"Home sweet home," she announced, executing a playful twirl before alighting on the petal's edge.

The rose-petal canopy parted under Rosetta's touch, revealing an elegant interior.

Zenith hovered awkwardly at the threshold.

"Well?" Rosetta smiled, one hand still holding the petal open. "You gonna float there all night or come inside?"

Though she seemed calm on the outside, she was desperately trying to hide her own blush.

This was her first time inviting a guy into her home after all.

"Uhm, is it really okay for me to just... come in like this?" Zenith asked hesitantly.

Rosetta giggled sweetly at the flustered sparrowman, masking her own shyness.

"Oh honey, if I minded, I wouldn't have invited you in the first place."

She reached out, her fingers brushing the cerulean glow as she grasped Zenith's wrist, swiftly pulling him inside.
