Guilty as Gorgeous | Chapter 26

"Father!"

Nisakorn shrieked when the car door—where she had been locked in a heated tryst with Methas—was suddenly yanked open. She scrambled to rearrange her disheveled clothes, her face turning as pale as her lover's in the backseat.

"Absolutely repulsive. I never imagined you would sink so low as to keep wallowing in the filth with this cockroach!"

"You brought Father here to harass me again, didn't you!?" The leading lady pointed a finger at the lawyer standing stoically behind Bancha.

"Why the hell are you attacking Banphot? You're the one who brought this problem—this man—to my company!"

"Why can't I? Methas is my guest!"

"You're debasing yourself! You know exactly how much trouble he's caused us. He's dragged you into nothing but depravity, yet you still haven't learned your lesson."

"It takes two to tango, Uncle. You can't just pin this all on me. Oh!"

Before the words could leave his mouth, Methas's head snapped to the side from the impact of a fist that sent him seeing stars. He hadn't expected the old man to still pack such a punch. The metallic tang of blood at the corner of his mouth sent a surge of rage through him.

"You're nothing but trash. You don't have a shred of manhood in you!"

"If I weren't a man, I wouldn't be your daughter's secret lover, would I, Uncle?"

"Stop it, Methas!" Nisakorn's eyes blazed.

"Why, Ni? This is a family matter. I'm not saying this in front of anyone else."

"We are nothing more than old friends!" she snapped coldly, reminding him of their prior arrangement.

"Sorry, I lost myself for a moment. But look at your father."

"Father, stop it. Methas is leaving."

"And you, get the hell out with him! And don't you dare step foot in here again as long as you're still seeing this man."

"Father!"

"What decent man would ever want you if they knew you had no self-respect? You've lowered yourself to wallow with someone like Methas. I raised you with everything, yet you chose the gutter. You knew I hated him, yet you brought him here."

"And what about your mistresses? Isn't that just as low? You know how much I hate Shanya, but you've brought her to the office countless times. You side with her on everything just to hurt me!"

"I'm going to say this for the last time, you ungrateful girl," Bancha said, his voice hard, the veins at his temples throbbing. "Paan isn't anyone's mistress. Stop thinking about filth and assuming everyone else is as sordid as you are."

"You... you're calling me sordid?" Nisakorn clenched her fists.

"Am I supposed to applaud this behavior? Banphot! Call the guards and have this piece of trash dragged out of my sight!"

"You'll regret looking down on me like this, Uncle."

"I'd regret it more if I actually valued a person like you."

"Oh, I might become quite valuable... if I'm holding onto certain secrets of yours."

"Caught a blackmailing bug from your mother, have you? You think people don't know about your family's rot? Fabricating news, slander, drug trafficking, acting as a pimp for those Sia..." Bancha listed them off coldly, while Methas's face paled though he maintained his defiant stance. "Who exactly should fear exposure? I've lived this long; what do I have to fear from a brat like you?"

"You should be afraid, Uncle. Because the secret I know... you wouldn't want anyone else to find out."

"He's right there. Get him out. If you ever see him again, do not let him in."

Banphot, who had just arrived, directed two security guards to seize Methas, who began shouting in a fury.

"Don't you touch me! I can find my own way out. You think I want to be here? In this old man's garbage company?"

Slap!

The sharp sound of a palm striking flesh came from Nisakorn.

"Ni! Why did you hit me?"

"Don't you dare speak to my father with that foul mouth again."

"Ha... Ha ha ha!" Methas paused before throwing his head back in a manic laugh. "This whole family is twisted! The mother acts like high society but cucks her husband. The father has countless mistresses, yet he's actually raising a bastard as his own! Is that why, Uncle? Is that why you're so eager to split the inheritance with someone who isn't even your own blood?"

"What the hell are you talking about!?" Both Nisakorn and Sasithorn asked simultaneously before looking at each other.

"Telling the truth! Don't tell me no one knew?" Methas sneered, scanning everyone's faces.

"You must be stupid enough to listen to anyone and think you're brilliant. I have five children, all of whom are my own biological flesh and blood."

"And who are those five, then? Are you going to deny that you've prepared a will to leave a portion of your estate to Shanya... even though she doesn't carry a drop of the Thanaphatwanit bloodline?"

That claim made Bancha turn to Banphot, who frowned and signaled back in a silent denial. Nisakorn and Sasithorn looked at their father with a mix of confusion and dread.

"Get him out of here. If he ever shows his face here again, call the police immediately."

Bancha's command was calm and stern, his previous rage switched off. Yet he watched Methas with a chilling coldness, having decided it was time for a permanent solution.

The guards dragged Manika's son away amidst a stream of vulgarities aimed at both the guards and the owner. Bancha and the others stood there for a long time until Methas's voice finally faded.

"Father..." Sasithorn called out softly.

"Both of you, get back to the party. As for you, Banphot... follow me to the study."

"Is it true, Father? That you made a will giving the inheritance to that woman!?" Nisakorn blurted out.

"It is not your place to interrogate me." Bancha turned to his eldest daughter with the same look he had given Methas, making her recoil. "Just know this: if you continue to associate with drug dealers and act like Methas, then pack your things and get out of my house. My name, Thanaphatwanit, will have nothing to do with people like this!"

"Father... kicking... me out..." The actress stood there, frozen.

Bancha didn't offer another word. He simply patted his younger daughter's shoulder. "Go back to the party, Si. By now, the staff must be gossiping their heads off."

Having said that, he walked back in, followed by Banphot.

The two sisters looked at each other once more. Eventually, Sasithorn returned to the event, while Nisakorn got into her car and drove off without a word.

A full week after the fashion show, Phutphitchaya began filming her drama following the blessing ceremony. She had to constantly dodge reporters trying to get an interview, with the Queer Manager acting as her shield.

Unfortunately, for her latest drama, the producer had made a sudden casting change, choosing Nisakorn to replace the original leading lady who had personal issues.

Public interest in the drama surged because the lead and the villainess were embroiled in a real-life feud over a man. Even now, with neither side speaking out, the love triangle remained a mystery.

Lek, or Anima, the star producer, had even brought Wansachon in for a cameo in the early episodes.

"Namfon looks quite refreshed today," Phutphitchaya told her Queer Manager while memorizing her lines for her cue.

"Of course she does. An eight-figure commercial deal just fell into her lap."

"Fell into her lap?"

The young woman looked up at her manager.
