"Go and rest," Eun-soo said softly, her voice carrying a personal warmth that seemed to shield them from the watching eyes of the staff.
"The view from the top floor is the best on the island. I'll see you at dinner."
Jin-woo looked at her, the reality of her status finally settling in, yet his pride as a self-made man remained intact.
"Thank you, Teacher—no, sorry, Miss Eun-soo. Thank you for this favor. I am very grateful to you and your family."
Eun-soo, noticing the slight shift in his formality, shook her head gently.
"There is no need to be so polite, Mr. Jin-woo. You have been a friend to me in Seoul, and Hajun, along with your parents, feel like family to me now. I would have done this regardless of our titles."
Jin-woo nodded, his expression softening just enough for her to see.
He didn't say more, knowing that some debts are better repaid with actions than words, but he made a silent vow to himself: if Eun-soo or the Cha family ever needed the technical might of A2 company, he would be the first to answer.
Turning to the General Manager, Seo Min-jae, Jin-woo's tone shifted back to the decisive frequency of a CEO.
"Please settle my family in the top floor. My own luggage and the technical equipment should be placed in the North Wing for easy access. My team is already at Saebyeol Oreum, and they will be coming to retrieve the sensors shortly."
Seo Min-jae bowed deeply, signaling his staff to begin the transition with the silent efficiency of a well-oiled machine.
"It will be done exactly as you wish, Mr. Jin-woo."
Jin-woo then turned toward the elevator with his family, the gold-trimmed doors sliding open to reveal a private lift that traveled directly to the restricted summit of the building.
As they stepped out onto the top floor, the air itself seemed different cleaner, quieter, and smelling faintly of expensive cedar.
The area was crystal clear, without even a speck of dust on the polished surfaces, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a breathtaking panorama of the Jeju coastline.
Daniel Kim, the Head Concierge, walked alongside them, providing a verbal tour of the sanctuary they were about to inhabit.
"The Hidden Cliff is designed to harmonize with the forest," he explained smoothly.
"You will have 24-hour access to our 47-meter heated infinity pool which overlooks the waterfall, and our dining at The Beyond is ready to serve you Italian cuisine whenever you desire."
He gestured toward the horizon.
"Our trekking trails are private to the hotel, and the 7th-floor cafe offers a 360-degree view of the forest and sea."
"We also have a dedicated Kid's Play Room for Hajun if he ever tires of the view."
Daniel stopped before the double doors of the main suite and handed Jin-woo a sleek, obsidian-black keycard.
"Sir, if you need anything at all, you may call me directly. I handle every detail for our VVIPs, from private transport to exclusive restaurant bookings and secret tourist spots."
Jin-woo took the card and looked Daniel in the eye.
"Mr. Kim, I will be stationed at Saebyeol Oreum from tomorrow morning until the festival concludes. I need you to arrange the best possible tours for my family."
"Price is not an issue; I just want them to experience the best of Jeju while I am working."
He continued, "Also, please arrange premium transportation for them to attend the main events of the Fire Festival—the torchlight parade, the K-pop performances, and the digital fire art show."
"I want them to have the best vantage point for the hillside lighting."
Daniel Kim nodded, his expression one of absolute professional confidence.
"Mr. Jin-woo, do not worry. I will handle everything personally."
"Mr. Jin-ho and Mrs. Young-sook, please take my private number. Anything you need, in or out of this hotel, I am your shadow on this island."
After thanking Daniel, the concierge opened the suite doors and bowed out.
The family stepped inside, and for a moment, even the stoic Jin-woo was silenced by the opulence.
The suite wasn't just a room; it was a sprawling, multi-level home in the sky.
Massive chandeliers made of hand-cut crystal hung from the double-height ceilings, casting shimmering patterns on the marble floors and plush, cream-colored rugs.
Jin-woo's parents stood near the entryway, hesitant to even step on the carpet, shocked by the sheer scale of the luxury Eun-soo had granted them.
Hajun, however, had no such hesitations; he ran toward the massive window, pressing his nose against the glass.
"Uncle! Look! I can see the whole world from here! And the couch is like a giant marshmallow!"
After helping his parents settle their things, Jin-woo checked his watch.
"Mom, Dad, I think you should rest tonight. Roam the hotel, enjoy the pool, and tomorrow you can start the tours with Mr. Kim."
"I have to go to the site immediately."
His father looked up from a velvet armchair.
"So soon? You've only just landed, Jin-woo."
"My team is already scanning the major part of Saebyeol Oreum," Jin-woo explained, his mind already back in the world of data and light.
"If we complete the 3D scan tonight, we will have all of tomorrow for safety checks before the final show."
"I can't leave anything to chance with the Fire Festival."
His parents knew that tone; when Jin-woo was in "mission mode," nothing could stop him.
They simply nodded and told him to be careful, watching as he disappeared back toward the elevators.
Jin-woo descended to the North Wing, where he found his trusted team members waiting in the lobby.
Jung Seung-ho, the Customer Support Lead, and Lee Dong-hyun, the brilliant Backend Engineer, were already coordinating with the hotel porters.
"Boss, you look like you're ready for a hike," Dong-hyun joked, noticing Jin-woo's change in attire.
Jin-woo had traded his travel wear for his "field uniform": a rugged black jacket, a plain black t-shirt emblazoned with the A2 logo, dark denim jeans, and sturdy white sport shoes.
On his wrist, his white-touch watch glinted, synced to the LiDAR sensors.
"Less talking, more loading," Jin-woo replied with a small smirk.
"We have an entire volcano to turn into a digital ghost before sunrise."
Together with the hotel staff, they loaded the heavy equipment—laser scanners, high-capacity batteries, and drone cases—into the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
As the van pulled away from the glowing facade of the Hidden Cliff, Jin-woo looked back at the top floor.
He could see the lights of the private wing shimmering like a crown on the hill.
The van sped into the dark Jeju night, headed toward the dormant silhouette of Saebyeol Oreum, where the fire of technology was about to meet the fire of tradition.
