Chapter 144 - [Yaoi Smut] Tethered Hearts

The morning light spilled across the living room, a warm, golden haze that caught the dust motes dancing in the air. Eiden blinked his eyes open to find Gavran already awake, his head resting heavily on Eiden's chest. The winged Sage didn't move; he simply watched Eiden with an unblinking, quiet intensity.

"Morning," Eiden murmured, his voice thick with sleep. "Were you staring at me while I slept?"

"Yeah," Gavran admitted, a small, tired smile tugging at his lips. "Just... I dunno, waiting, I guess."

Eiden didn't say anything more. He slid a hand down to Gavran's lower body, hooking his fingers to scoot the taller man upward until their faces were inches apart. He closed the distance with a deep, possessive kiss. Gavran responded instantly, their tongues tangling in a slow, rhythmic dance that quickly shed the gentleness of the morning.

As the heat rose, Gavran pulled his knees up, straddling Eiden's lap while maintaining the kiss. He shifted his weight, grinding rhythmically against Eiden's crotch. Breaking the kiss for air, Gavran looked down, his breathing ragged. A dark, heavy stain was already spreading through the front of his pants.

"You that excited?" Eiden asked, his eyes darkening. "Maybe I should give you some help getting that out."

He reached around, his hands finding the firm curve of Gavran's ass and slipping beneath the waistband of his pants.

"W-we should actually take this to the bedroom—" Gavran started to protest, his voice trembling.

"Ahem."

The sound of a dry, pointed throat-clearing cut through the air like a blade. Both men snapped their heads toward the hallway. Agora stood there, her arms crossed over her chest, an unimpressed look on her face. Eiden yanked his hands out of Gavran's pants with practiced speed.

"W-we weren't doing anything—" Gavran stammered, his face turning a shade of red that rivaled a sunset.

"Uh-huh. Anyways..." Agora said, stepping further into the room and ignoring their disheveled state. "Iris mentioned you were thinking about heading into space eventually. I want to come with."

Gavran's head whipped back to Eiden, his embarrassment momentarily eclipsed by shock. "Wait, you're actually planning on heading to space?"

"Yeah, eventually," Eiden confirmed, sitting up as much as he could with Gavran still perched on him.

"Well, can I come?" Agora asked again, her tone leaving little room for a 'no.'

"Wait, me too?" Gavran added, his protectiveness flaring up.

Eiden looked between the two of them. "Sure, both of you can come. I plan to head out… soon, so today we can just relax while I figure out a good time."

"Well, alright. Cool. I'll be ready whenever you are," Agora said. She turned on her heel and walked away, her footsteps echoing down the hall as if she hadn't just interrupted a private moment.

The silence that followed was heavy with lingering tension. Eiden turned his focus back to the man still sitting on his lap. Without a word, he reached down and lowered Gavran's pants, exposing his bare skin to the cool morning air. Eiden freed himself, the contrast of his heat against the morning chill making Gavran shiver. He moved with a focused intent, rubbing the head of his length against Gavran's tight, pink entrance.

"It's been a while since I've been in here," Eiden whispered.

"W-wait, I need to loosen up—" Gavran gasped, his hands gripping Eiden's shoulders for support.

Eiden didn't wait. Using the slickness already present, he arched his hips and slammed himself all the way inside in one powerful thrust. The sudden, overwhelming fullness hit Gavran like a physical shock; his eyes rolled back, his entire body shuddering violently as he came instantly upon impact, his release coating both their stomachs.

Eiden groaned, the sound vibrating deep in his chest as he felt Gavran's walls clench around him in a desperate, pulsing rhythm. The sheer intensity of Gavran's immediate climax had sent a jolt of pure heat straight to Eiden's core, but he wasn't finished—not by a long shot. He gripped Gavran's hips, his fingers digging into the pale skin, and began to move.

"E-Eiden..." Gavran wheezed, his head falling back, exposing the long line of his throat. His massive white wings flared out instinctively, the primary feathers brushing against the ceiling and the walls of the living room, knocking a small decorative vase off a side table. It shattered on the floor, but neither of them cared.

Eiden set a brutal, relentless pace. Every upward thrust of his hips was met with the wet, slapping sound of skin on skin, filling the quiet morning air with the soundtrack of their desperation. He was deep—deeper than he'd been in months—and he could feel every internal tremor as Gavran tried to recover from his initial shock.

"Look at me," Eiden commanded, his voice a gravelly rasp.

Gavran forced his eyes open, his pupils blown wide until they nearly swallowed the white of his irises. He looked completely undone, his face flushed and his lips parted as he took in sharp, hitching breaths.

"I... I missed you," Gavran managed to choke out between gasps. "Even when you were right there... I missed this."

"I'm not going anywhere," Eiden promised, punctuating the statement with a particularly hard drive that forced a high-pitched cry from Gavran's throat.

Eiden reached up, his hands tangling in Gavran's messy white hair to pull him down into another kiss. It was messy, tasting of salt and morning air, a desperate exchange of heat that mirrored the friction below. Gavran wrapped his legs tightly around Eiden's waist, locking his ankles to ground himself against the storm Eiden was stirring inside him.

The momentum built until Eiden's vision began to blur at the edges. He felt the familiar, tingly burn of divinity beginning to spark in his veins—a byproduct of his mounting pleasure. He didn't suppress it. Instead, he let it flow, his skin beginning to emit a faint, silver radiance that illuminated the shadowed corners of the room.

Gavran's wings snapped shut, wrapping around both of them like a silken cocoon as Eiden delivered three final, devastating thrusts. Eiden let out a low, guttural roar as he released, the heat of his seed flooding Gavran's core. The sensation sent Gavran into a second, smaller peak, his body stiffening as he clung to Eiden, burying his face into the crook of his husband's neck.

For a long time, the only sound in the room was their synchronized, ragged breathing and the distant chirping of birds outside. The golden light had shifted, moving further across the floor, reflecting off the shards of the broken vase. Eiden finally pulled back, his hands sliding up to cup Gavran's face. He used his thumbs to wipe away the stray tears of overstimulation at the corners of Gavran's eyes.

"You okay?" Eiden asked softly, the silver glow beneath his skin slowly fading.

"Yeah," Gavran whispered, his voice still shaky. He leaned his forehead against Eiden's. "But if Agora comes back to check if we're done, I think I'll actually die of shame."

Eiden chuckled, a light, genuine sound. "She knows better. Anyways, let's get up."

He gently eased Gavran off his lap, though the separation felt cold as they stood to clean themselves up and face the day.
