After the party ended Markus took Emily home " Babe don't do anything hurtful to him , okay" Markus sound concerned " I will try not to " Emily replied with a smug smile. They kissed and she went inside. She went straight to her room ignoring the greetings of the maids. The moment she went inside ,she ordered the head maid to prepare a walm bath for her . In this house, no one dares go against her orders, dare to go against it and end up either dead,fired or beaten to the point of death. Emily was known as to ruthless heir that didn't tolerate nonsense among the maid. Emily was laying in bed scrolling through social media when she received a
" Hey babes, what's up" The person on the other end said.

We will be back tomorrow" Emily smile and said " okay " . They descussed for a while before the maid notified Emily that the bath was ready,she ended the call and went to take her shower.

Flashback starts
Email laughing with her father in the park " Dad can we come here every day" " No pumpkin,you know I have to go to work" he said to her.
" But I can bring you here 3 times a week, agreed" she smile and said " okay " "but why can mom bring me instead" his face turned pale.
" Sweetie your mom has some personal issues okay ". " Okay "
They stayed in the park for a while before they left. That was the last dun she had with her dad. When they got home ,her mom was already packing their clothes ( her's and Emily's) " Mom where are you going " Emily asked out of curiosity" " oh sweetie we are going to stay with someone for a while". She lied looking at her husband with disgust " can dad come too". " Okay everything is in the car let's go ". A man said behind them " Who are you and where are you going with my wife " Emily's dad said looking at the man behind him " hey sweetie come here" her mom opened her arms wide and carried Emily covering her face " His's Emily dad for now on, am leaving with my daughter because you are toxic and I want a good home for her" she said trying to leave the house but he pushed her back" Sarah did you think you can leave with her , over my dead body will you try such thing ". " Mark his's trying to hurt her " she said . Mark immediately pounced on him " Frederick !!!!!!". He screamed " stop this nonsense let them go you are a toxic father and a toxic husband, can't you she loves me" . Sarah ran out of the house with Emily in her hands, as the two began fighting . When she got to the car Emily bit her and she forcefully dropped her but she didn't get ingured . Emily ran back to the house only to be hit with a terrifying scene. Mark stapped her father in the head with a spoon, Emily screamed at the scene and fainted. That was the last thing she remembered about her father .
A month after the death of her father she was standing at a church watching the man who killed her father get married to her mother. That was the day the seed of hatred for her step father was planted.

Emily closed her eyes and cried into her pillow. She managed to fall asleep by midnight after she ran out if tears.
