Hirav found himself playfully twisting Riya's ears. "Actually, I started twisting her ears too," he admitted with a slight wince.
Rani, listening in amusement, laughed, "My gosh! Did Riya squeal in pain and say, 'Owww, didi, he's abusing me?'"
"Yeah!" Hirav chuckled. "Then Maggie hugged Riya tightly and said, 'That's enough now, everything's fine.'"
Rani grinned, "Did Maggie hug her while saying, 'I'll save you only if you call me "Sis-in-law" from now on'?"
Hirav nodded, "Exactly! And I told Maggie, 'I'll give her punishment, so leave her alone.'"
Rani burst out laughing, "Did Riya scream and cling to Maggie even tighter, shouting, 'Nooo, Sis-in-law, save me!'?"
"Yeah!" Hirav laughed. "And Maggie said, 'Forgive her, otherwise I'll punish you.'"
Rani teased, "My gosh! Did you melt at Maggie's words and pull them both into a hug?"
Hirav rolled his eyes, "What melt? I squeezed Riya's cheek tight, and she screamed, 'Sis-in-law, he's hurting me!'"
Rani giggled, "Did Maggie laugh and say, 'He's just giving you a punishment hug, Riya'?"
"Yeah! And then Maggie kissed that cheek of hers," Hirav said with a smile.
Rani continued, "Did Riya immediately stop squealing and say, 'Ewww, cooties from Maggie's lips, but bro's hurt is gone'?"
"Yeah! And Riya said, 'I love you, didi.'"
Rani smiled warmly, "Did Maggie smile and say, 'Love you too, Riya... and your bro too'?"
Hirav laughed, "Yeah! And Riya shot back, 'Hate you, bro.'"
Rani chuckled, "Did you laugh and say, 'Just kidding. I know you love me, Riya... almost as much as Maggie does'?"
"Yeah!" Hirav agreed.
Rani asked, "Did Maggie blush again and hit you playfully?"
"Yeah! And Maggie said, 'My love is more for you.'"
Rani grinned, "Did Riya hear that?"
"Yeah! She pouted and said, 'My love is more than yours, Sis-in-law.'"
Rani laughed, "My gosh! Did you get caught in the middle of their fight?"
Hirav nodded, "Yeah! So I turned off the lights and said, 'Good night.'"
Rani asked, "My gosh, did they actually sleep?"
"Yeah! After a long time," Hirav sighed.
The next morning, Riya went for a shower.
Rani teased, "Alone time with Maggie?"
Hirav smiled, "Maggie was still sleeping."
Rani laughed, "LOL."
Hirav continued, "Riya came back from the shower."
Rani asked, "Is Riya your sister? Did she suspect anything?"
"No, she said, 'Bro or sis-in-law, anyone can go for a shower,'" Hirav replied.
Rani asked, "Did you and Maggie take one together?"
Hirav smiled, "Maggie was smiling in her sleep, so I took her in my arms and carried her to the bathroom."
Rani said, "Riya must have been wondering why Maggie was smiling so much. Did she ask what was going on?"
"Yeah! She said, 'Who gave you permission to shower together?'"
Rani laughed, "Did you say Maggie's mom gave permission for everything?"
"Yeah! And Riya pouted, saying, 'I'll tell Dad about this.'"
Rani asked, "Is your dad going to kill you or laugh at Mom's meddling?"
Hirav smiled, "I went to Riya and said, 'My little sis, what do you want?'"
Rani asked, "Did she say she wants what Maggie has?"
"Yeah! Maggie screamed, 'Eww, that's not possible, Riya.'"
Rani asked, "Did Riya say why she wants it?"
Hirav said, "Riya pouted and said, 'You're still unmarried, so didi, you should share him with me.'"
Rani laughed, "Did Maggie and you just burst out laughing?"
"Yeah! And Riya pouted, 'I'm serious, 50% of him is mine.'"
Rani asked, "How did you respond to that?"
"I said, 'Okay, Riya, because Maggie allows it,'" Hirav said.
Rani laughed, "Did Maggie just faint or something?"
"Yeah! I said, 'Riya, Maggie feels weak, so I have to give her a bath.'"
Rani asked, "Is Riya demanding her turn immediately after?"
"Yeah! She said, 'Only if you shower with me tomorrow and remember you're 50% mine too. Whatever you do with didi, I want that too.'"
Rani asked, "Did you agree to her crazy terms?"
"Yeah! Maggie fainted and got mad at me."
Rani asked, "Are you in big trouble with Maggie now?"
Hirav smiled, "Yeah! I kissed her lips and said, 'Calm down, baby.' Riya noticed I kissed her."
Rani asked, "Did Riya say she wants kisses too?"
"Yeah!"
Rani asked, "Did you give her one on the cheek?"
"Yeah! But she said, 'Kiss me where you kissed didi.'"
Rani laughed, "How did Maggie react to that?"
Hirav said, "Maggie screamed, 'Eww, that's not fair.'"
Rani asked, "Did you remind her she agreed to share?"
"Yeah!"
Rani asked, "Did Maggie say she was joking about sharing?"
"Yeah! And Maggie cried a bit too."
Rani asked, "Did you hug her and say she's only hers?"
"Yeah! I lied and said, 'Actually, Riya, I tried to kiss Maggie on her lips but by mistake kissed her chin.'"
Rani asked, "Did Riya believe that?"
"Yeah! Because Riya didn't see properly where we kissed."
Rani asked, "Did Maggie give you the dirtiest look ever?"
"Yeah! And I kissed Riya's chin."
Rani asked, "Is Riya beaming with happiness now?"
"Yeah! And I'm going to shower Maggie."
Rani asked, "Is Riya yelling, '50% of shower time is mine tomorrow'?"
"Yeah, but she pouted and said, 'I'll shower with you anyway tomorrow.'"
Rani laughed, "Did Maggie just whisper in your ear, 'Lock the bathroom door tomorrow'?"
"Yeah!"
Rani asked, "Are you going to do what Maggie said?"
"No idea. Now Riya says, 'Get dressed.'"
Rani asked, "Is Maggie clinging to your arm like she's protecting you from Riya?"
"Yeah! Maggie said, 'Don't look at him while he wears clothes.'"
Rani laughed, "Did Riya roll her eyes so hard they got stuck that way?"
Hirav smiled, "Riya said, 'Didi, I'll follow whatever you do with him.'"
Rani teased, "Maggie must be freaking out. What did she say back to Riya?"
Hirav smiled softly, "Maggie turned her face away, and Riya did the same."
"That's adorable," Rani said warmly. "Did you kiss Maggie's cheek in front of Riya?"
"Yeah," Hirav replied. "After getting dressed, Riya came closer and showed me her cheeks."
Rani asked, "Did you kiss her forehead instead?"
"No," Hirav chuckled, "She might have freaked out, so I kissed her cheek too. Maggie pouted at that."
"Is Maggie pulling you away from Riya now?" Rani inquired.
"Yeah," Hirav nodded. "And Riya looked at me with hopeful eyes."
Rani smiled, "Did your heart melt at Riya's hopeful eyes?"
"Definitely," Hirav admitted. "I hugged both of them."
"Did they both hug you back? Maggie tightly and Riya squealing?" Rani asked.
Hirav nodded, "Yes, and then we all fell asleep."
"All three of you in one bed?" Rani asked in surprise.
"Yeah," Hirav said. "Now it's morning, 5:20 AM."
"Is Riya already awake, staring at you?" Rani asked curiously.
"Yeah," Hirav replied quietly. "When I woke up, I noticed Maggie's head was too hot."
"Did you touch her forehead and realize she had a fever?" Rani asked, concerned.
"Yeah," Hirav said softly.
"Is Riya watching you panic?" Rani asked.
