"I'll begin," she said.
Everyone settled.

Silence followed.
"No defensive wounds. No forced restraint."
Ara nodded slightly.
"Cause of death—oxygen deprivation."
A pause.
Bong Soo frowned.
"…suffocation?"
"Not exactly," the doctor replied.
She opened the file further.
"There are no external marks around the neck."
Kang Min spoke,
"No strangulation?"
"None."
Another pause.
Ara leaned forward slightly.
"Then how?"
The doctor answered calmly.
"Pressure applied in a controlled way."
"Likely using a soft material," she continued.
"Something that restricts breathing without leaving visible marks."
Bong Soo's expression tightened.
"…so they couldn't fight back?"
"They didn't," the doctor replied.
"They were subdued quickly."
Kang Min's gaze sharpened.
"Position?"
The doctor nodded.
"All victims were found in similar relaxed positions."
Ara understood immediately.
"They weren't expecting it."
"Yes."
Another page turned.
"There's more."
"Each victim shows slight pressure patterns around the lower face area."
Subtle.
"Not enough to leave visible bruising," she added.
"But consistent across all cases."
Bong Soo exhaled slowly.
"…this guy is careful."
Ara spoke,
"He gets close enough."
Kang Min added,
"And finishes it quickly."

The door opened.
Prosecutor Lee Tae Jun entered with two senior officers.
"Continue," one of them said.
The doctor nodded.
"There are no signs of forced entry, no defensive injuries, and no indication the victims felt threatened before the incident."
A pause.
"They allowed him close."
Silence filled the room.
One of the superiors spoke,
"So he approaches calmly, gains trust, and acts at the right moment."
Kang Min nodded once.
"Yes."
Ara added,
"And he leaves without leaving anything behind."
The superior looked at the team.
"Then focus on access."
A pause.
"How he gets close."
The meeting slowly came to an end.
Chairs moved.
Files gathered.
People began to leave.
Back at her desk—
Su Young sat down.
She opened her system again.
Not the same data this time.
Something else.
She scrolled.
Paused.
"…wait."
Her fingers moved quickly.
Cross-checking.
Comparing.
Her eyes narrowed slightly.
Then—
She stood up immediately.
"Captain."
Kang Min looked up.
"You need to see this."
Ara and Bong Soo turned.
"What is it?" Ara asked.
Su Young turned her monitor toward them.
"I checked something different," she said.
A pause.
The screen displayed a list.
Names.
Records.
Kang Min looked closely.
"…where did this come from?" he asked.
Su Young replied,
"It has been the system".
