Tua's heart was breaking apart while Arnold still misunderstood the whole situation. The next day, when Arnold reached the university and couldn't find Tua, he started worrying about Tua. Arnold hurried over to Dean and asked him, "Where's Tua? Why didn't he come today?!" his face was filled with worry. Dean said, "Tua wasn't feeling well, that's why he's resting at home." Dean hesitated before asking, but he still asked, "Did something happen between you two?" Arnold's face changed instantly, his expression darkening with guilt, as he said "Nothing much." Arnold muttered, but the guilt in his voice said otherwise.
Arnold called once. Then twice. Then again. Each unanswered call made his chest tighten. He went to Tua's house as he was concerned about something bad happening to Tua.
On the other hand, Tua, half-conscious, didn't know what was actually happening and couldn't process what he had been doing the whole day. Boston knocked on the door unexpectedly. Tua opened the door for him. Boston said, "Hey—are you feeling alright? What happened?" Tua asked Boston why he came. Boston answered, "I wanted to see how you were doing as I heard you were pretty wasted yesterday at the party." Tua said, "Uhh... yeah... I'm okay."
