Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: The Bride’s Secret Plan

Hook:

The groom thought he was the hunter…

But what if the bride had been hunting him all along?

The room fell silent.

Ayesha was still smiling.

Arman frowned.

That wasn't the reaction he expected.

"Why are you smiling?" he asked, his voice low and sharp.

Without a word, Ayesha removed her heavy earrings and placed them on the table.

Soft sound. Controlled movement.

"Because…" she said quietly,

"you're not the only one who entered this marriage with a plan."

Arman's eyes narrowed.

"What do you mean?"

Ayesha stepped closer.

No fear. No hesitation.

"You wanted revenge on my family, right?"

She paused, then looked straight into his eyes.

"But did you ever think… I might want the same thing?"

Flashback

Months ago.

A dark room.

Ayesha stood alone, holding a file.

Inside it—

Documents. Emails. Secrets.

Each page broke something inside her.

Her father… the powerful head of Rahman Group…

was not the man she believed.

Illegal deals. Betrayal. Destroyed lives.

And one name appeared again and again—

Arman Khan.

A man destroyed.

A man erased.

A man betrayed…

by her own family.

Ayesha closed the file slowly.

That night, everything changed.

Back to Present

"I knew about you," Ayesha said softly.

Arman froze.

"I read everything—your project, your identity… your fall."

"Then why…?" Arman's voice dropped.

"Why did I marry you?" she completed.

A faint smile touched her lips.

"Because you're not my enemy, Arman."

A pause.

"You're my weapon."

Arman stepped closer, his gaze turning darker.

"Careful, Ayesha. I don't trust easily."

"You don't have to," she replied instantly.

"But we both want the same thing."

Silence.

Then—

"To destroy Rahman Group."

The words hit like an explosion.

Suddenly, Arman grabbed her wrist.

"And how do I know this isn't a trap?"

Ayesha didn't pull away.

Instead, she leaned closer.

Her voice dropped to a whisper.

"Because tomorrow…"

She paused.

"I'm going to give you your first revenge."

Arman's grip slowly loosened.

"What are you planning?"

Ayesha held his gaze.

Unshaken. Unreadable.

"Tomorrow," she said,

"your biggest enemy will fall in front of everyone."

A moment of silence.

Then—

"And this time…"

Her voice turned cold.

"You won't be hiding in the shadows anymore."
