Chapter 6 - The Bond Beyond Books

In a small village school, there was a teacher named Mr. Arun. He was not just known for his knowledge, but for his kindness and patience. Every student loved him, but one boy named Raju always stayed quiet in class.

Raju came from a poor family. He worked in the fields after school and had little time to study. Because of this, he often failed in his exams. Other teachers thought he was careless, but Mr. Arun believed there was something special about him.

One day, after class, Mr. Arun called Raju and gently asked, "Why don't you complete your homework?"

Raju hesitated, then said softly, "Sir, I want to study, but I have to help my parents. I feel tired and can't focus."

Mr. Arun understood his struggle. From the next day, he started teaching Raju after school for free. He also gave him simple ways to learn quickly and encouraged him every day.

Slowly, Raju's confidence grew. He began to answer questions in class and started scoring better marks. A true teacher not only teaches lessons but also understands and supports students. And a good student respects and trusts their teacher.Other students noticed the change and became inspired too.

One year later, Raju stood first in his class. On the prize distribution day, he touched Mr. Arun's feet and said with tears, "Sir, you changed my life."

Mr. Arun smiled and replied, "A teacher only shows the path. You walked it with courage.
