Chapter 114 - A war will begin

A few days before all of that, Karma visited Nahira, who seemed displeased with what had happened in her world and the accumulating conditions. When he arrived, he said, "Hi, Princess of Blood, I see your blood runs cold today." Nahira did not utter a word; she sat gazing into the distant sea. He asked her, "What is the matter with you? Is all of this because of the destruction of a few universes? I will give you others." She replied, "No, the matter is much worse than that, Karma." Karma asked, "Did something happen? Did you hear what happened with your sister?" She answered, "Yes, my foolish sister acted like a madwoman as usual and caused all of this. But do you know what truly infuriated me? She preferred a stranger over me." He asked, "What do you mean?" She replied, "Her excessive obsession with the love of her life did all of this. So what if he had asked her for something even greater?" He asked, "What? Do you mean Arius? Despite him being dead, I can't believe your sister still hasn't gotten over his death." Nahira said, "He isn't dead." Karma paused, "What?" Nahira said, "Just as you heard, he isn't dead. The scoundrel turned out to be alive, and he came, took Clarice, and fled from here."

Karma stood up, saying, "What are you saying? Didn't he die? Didn't that criminal kill him?" Nahira replied, "I don't know, but what my eyes saw could not be mistaken. Arius in the flesh took her and fled." Karma asked, "And where are they now?" Nahira said, "I don't know, they left no trace at all." Karma said, "So he is still alive. I knew it, but I wasn't certain. Tell me, did he say anything?" Nahira said, "No, and I don't care about him anyway. Why did you come in the first place?" Karma said, "I came to see you, and I also wanted to consult you about something. Actually, I wanted to start a final war to conquer World Zero and destroy its filth. What do you think?" She said indifferently, "Good, do whatever you want." Karma said, "Are you really agreeing to this?" Nahira said, "Yes, do as you please. Also, if you need help with anything, I can assist you, for I have sent Ramin there. And also, tell me, how will you deal with the matter? They are tough-natured and will not surrender to you even if you kill them." Karma said, "I know, the scoundrel Dazai prefers death over losing his honor, that wretch. Anyway, do you have a plan?" She said, "Yes, I do. In fact, I have someone who will help us now."

Then she snapped her fingers, and Ramin appeared before her, and she said, "I will send this follower of mine to Gestoria with a specific goal, and that goal is to kidnap the Princess of Gestoria." Karma was shocked and said, "Do you mean Izola?" Nahira said, "Yes, that girl. I heard she has a relationship with that Black Eye, and also, since she is Dazai's sister, you will force him to surrender to you by pressuring him through his sister." Karma said, "I'm not that cowardly to do such a thing." Nahira said with a bored look, "Stop your lying and acting noble, and do what I say, for you have done worse in the past." Karma said, "Fine, just don't look at me like that." Then Nahira said to Ramin, "You will head to that world, kidnap Dazai's sister, and come back immediately via this cube." Ramin said, "A teleportation cube?" She said, "Yes, I managed to provide two: one for the trip there and the other for the return. Remember, failure is forbidden. She is an ordinary girl; despite her great intellect, she isn't as strong as her brother or others. Just grab her and bring her here immediately without anyone seeing you."

Ramin used the cube and vanished from the spot. We move a few days later to the present, to see Izola sitting in her room, hearing loud knocking. She screams that she doesn't wish to see anyone, but the knocking continues until she goes and opens the door, but finds no one. She closes the door and is shocked by Ramin, who managed to enter the castle with the help of one of the guards. She says in extreme terror, "Who are you, and how did you get in here?" Ramin, hiding his face beneath a hood, says, "I am nobody, and I have come to take you to the place where you belong." He lunges at her as she screams, but the castle today is empty because Karma declared war openly, and everyone is busy listening to his words after he published a public speech to everyone in that world.

Dazai says, "Damn it, this is what I feared beforehand." Arlin says, "It seems Karma now wants to end things for good. It appears he learned about the situation here." Dazai stands up, thinking a little. Celis asks, "What shall we do now?" Dazai says, "We will fight and defend our land, what else can we do?" Then he ordered the three Shinshu—the Blue, Purple, and Yellow Eyes—to go and prepare to organize their armies and guard the borders well. At the same time, Celis ordered her group to do the same, and everyone began preparing for a fierce war looming on the horizon. Dazai says, "I am going to take a look at Izola; I must take her from here to a safe place." He goes to the castle, enters, knocks on her room door, and says, "My dear, open the door, it's your brother Dazai." But he hears no sound at all, so he enters, only to be shocked that she is not there. He sees her necklace abandoned on the floor, realizing something happened, and orders some soldiers to search for her everywhere.

After a while, in the north of World Zero, Arius was sitting in a small cave he found, saying, "Oddly enough, why have all these annoying numbers spread? They are like destructive rain, hovering everywhere. In these last few days, I have moved to several planets and seen endless numbers of them. Damn it, having read these two books, I realized something: the source of these tumors is one thing, and that is Baryon himself, and this red vapor enhances the survival of these tumors on them. I also learned that he feeds on the blood of these creatures through the tumors and deformities they bear, causing them pain and agony in exchange for his survival and nourishment. It seems the little one was indeed right; this wretch doesn't stop at that, but uses all creatures as things for his soldiers to grant them energy and for the beauty of his whore wife. Indeed, this world is dirty to the utmost degree. As for its heinous history, every civilization born leaves a legacy for the one after it. The suffering of all the universes is connected by unified pipes that transport waste to the universes and suck life for that demon, and it seems this has been happening for millions of years without anyone thinking of doing anything. Damn it, if he possesses all of that, why did he destroy my people and peoples who had nothing to do with him, that son of a bitch?"

After that, Arius decides to start a move, saying, "I will end this soon. Believe me, no one will let you get away with it. I will return the blow twofold for what you did to me in the first world."

Ramin teleported there, descended carrying Izola—who was bound—threw her to the ground, and then dragged her inside a small palace. He then threw her before a throne in the middle of a dark hall. Nahira said, "Welcome, Princess of Criminals." Izola looked at her in fear and said nothing. Nahira continued, "Despite your huge bounty, you are just an ordinary, fragile, and miserable girl. I don't know what all that hype and attention over you is about. I know your bounty is only valued at 2 septillion just because you are Dazai's sister, nothing more. But that doesn't deny the fact that you will be useful to us." Ramin removed the cloth from her mouth, and Nahira said, "Leave now." Ramin bowed and left. Then Nahira said, "I am sorry for bringing you this way, but I was forced. I actually want something from you, and another friend of mine wants something else. I suppose you will be convinced by my request, but you will refuse my friend's request." Izola said, "What do you want from me? Why did you bring me here? Release me now." Nahira said, "Calm down, I don't want to harm you anyway. You are not my target, and won't be my target beyond this. Just answer my question, and don't try to be clever or play cunning, for it won't work with me. Tell me, who is the Black Eye?" Izola screamed in anger, saying, "You have nothing to do with who he is! Don't you dare come near him!" Nahira laughed and said, "Are you feeling jealous or scared for him? Both make me disgusted." Izola said, "Do whatever you want with me. I am not important anyway, neither to the Black Eye nor to my brother Dazai. You can kill me here and now, and no one will care. We have lived and trained to control our emotions so we never fall into traps like this all our lives, so you won't get anything out of me." Nahira smiled craftily and said, "Brave words from a girl who was crying just a moment ago. But I know the opposite is true. I am sure your brother is screaming and running here and there right now, searching for his innocent little sister. And I also know it's impossible for the Black Eye to leave his wife, if he considers her as such in this condition. So, tell me my answer and I will let you go: Who is the Black Eye, little one?" Izola said, "Damn you, you whore, I will never speak to you." Nahira said, "So be it." She called Ramin, who carried her, dragged her to a room containing a single chair, and tied her there. Then Nahira pressed a button and began electrocuting Izola, torturing her severely.

On the other side, a call came to Dazai from Karma. Karma sat on his throne and Dazai at his desk. Karma said, "I haven't seen you face to face in a long time, you pest." Dazai said, "Believe me, how I wish to do that just to hang your face on a burning nebula." Karma said, "Surrender, Dazai. I don't want to cause damage between the two worlds; just hand over everything, yourself and those with you, and I promise you I won't harm anyone in your world." Dazai smiled, laughing sarcastically, "You promise you won't harm anyone, Karma? I know you better than anyone. As soon as I surrender to you, you will wipe out every creature in this world to satisfy your arrogant ego. I am not the type to be easily fooled." Karma laughed and said, "I know that. I know you are a genius person and can never be cornered, but I have the one thing that demolishes your building's wall." Dazai asked, "And what is that?"

Izola appeared on the screen, being cruelly tortured right before him. Dazai's smile vanished, his face turned pale, and Karma said, "You have two days. Either surrender or I end the life of your dear sister, if she matters to you. And also, don't forget to say hello to Baryon if he decides to visit you." Then he hung up. For the first time, Dazai felt truly trapped and didn't know what to do anymore.

In World Zero, in the north, Arius appeared on a high hill, breathed lightly, and said, "The time has come. Today I will end the reign of this so-called one and show him what it means to betray Celestine."

Arius flew slightly into the sky, and suddenly a blue light emerged from his back, and all his energy soldiers began to pour out from his back everywhere. The system began counting the outgoing numbers as Arius decided to build the "Reverse Bullet" plan, where he would release all his soldiers in one place so that Baryon's entire army would head toward them while he headed toward Baryon and eliminated him himself. The system began counting the numbers until the counter showed 100 billion, 400 billion, 888 billion, 2 trillion, 100 trillion soldiers coming out all at once, some of them covering entire universes due to their massive sizes, numbers, and majestic forms.

The commanders appeared behind Arius: Rhinos, the Knight of Dark Blood; Zaikors, the King of Lizards; Dark, the Immortal King; and Gillion, the King of Dragons. A new female commander appeared with transparent wings in a pitch-black and blue energetic color: Ellaria, the Illusion Sorceress. The five commanders stood behind Arius and asked them to stay together, not to separate, and to destroy anyone who stood in their way, whoever they might be. The five commanders bowed and dispersed within a single mass with the army. Arius vanished from the spot, heading toward Baryon's location at lightning speed, crossing all the enemies before him. In contrast, Baryon's army headed toward Arius's massive army.

In Baryon's palace, which was like a skull carved into a dark mountain, he sat in his palace when one of his military commanders came and said, "Sir, the enemy suddenly appeared before the borders of our universe out of nowhere, and they are heading toward us now. We will send the army to deter them." Baryon said, "No, it's a cheap trap." He stood up, and his wife sat in his lap, saying, "Are you going, my dear?" She was a strange type of demon, a mix of ice demons and fire demons. Baryon said, "My darling, there are rats trespassing on my land, and of course no one dares to do that today. The owner of this act has written doom upon himself, whoever he may be. But what I know is that none of the Five Strongest, except for me, possesses an army in these numbers. Who could this warrior be who trod upon my carpet?" The soldier said, "Sir, his forces are huge; they cover entire universes. It seems he is someone facing a problem with you." Baryon thought for a moment, but couldn't think of anyone, so he said, "Call back the entire army to the palace; I will go there alone." The soldier said, "But, sir..." Baryon grabbed the soldier and blew up his head. The rest of the commanders and soldiers grew frightened, saying, "Sir, as you please." Baryon said, "If anything happens to my wife or daughter, I will exterminate you all, create others, and exterminate them too, so make sure of their safety. I will find that person and settle accounts with him myself. It's been a while since I fought someone, but I'll be very disappointed if he's just an amateur trying to challenge me."

A child emerged from the corridors and said, "Father, are you going to some war? I want to go with you to fight by your side." Baryon laughed a terrifying laugh and said, "My son, one day you will fight by my side if I am forced to do so. But for now, enjoy this childhood of yours, for it will never happen again." The child said, "Alright, Father." He said, "Don't be late, so we can play together." Baryon said, "I will bring you the heads of those people to play with them, my little one. Hahahaha."

Baryon flew out of the palace at extraordinary speed while the army was returning. Dark said, "Strange, his army is returning. What is happening here?" Gillion said, "I have a really bad feeling."

On the other side, Arius flew straight toward Baryon's planet. Arius saw that the army was returning and mingling with them, and due to his immense speed, none of them felt him as he passed through their midst. At the same time, Baryon flew in the opposite direction. In a spine-chilling moment, Arius and Baryon passed by each other in a fraction of a second. Moments later, Arius reached the planet, and at the same time, Baryon reached Arius's army. He stood before the army alone, while all of Baryon's armies gathered in front of Arius, surrounding him like an ant in a sea of hornets.

Baryon looked back and said, "What was that energy that poked me as I was coming here?" Arius said, "Who was that who passed near me? His power differs from everyone in front of me now. Could it be...?"

Baryon stood looking around, seeing the terrifying army before him, laughed a little, and said, "Where is that rat owner of this army? Let him appear before me." The five commanders looked at him without uttering a single word. Zaikors said, "Sir, his status is too high to face scum like you." Baryon laughed and said, "Is that so? So he isn't here."

Suddenly, in a flash so quick no one realized it, Zaikors's head appeared in Baryon's hands. Everyone panicked; despite being emotionless soldiers, they were shocked by what happened. No one comprehended how it happened. Zaikors vanished and faded, returning to Arius's body, while Arius stood looking at himself and said, "I didn't expect you to fall first, Zaikors." Zaikors apologized and said, "Sir, forgive me, I was surprised too."

Then one of Baryon's monsters stepped forward and started laughing, saying, "What is this? Just a simple youth. I thought we would fight monsters like us. What is this? I think they are just trying to test us to see our readiness." Everyone started laughing, and suddenly Arius opened his eyelid, revealing a fierce gale. Everyone suddenly felt terrified, and one of them said, "What... what is happening here? Is this energy really emanating from this person? Impossible!" Another said, "What are you waiting for? Attack him all at once!" Everyone was scared and no one moved from their place.

Arius stood up and said, "Where is your master? I want to kill him." One of them said, "You want to kill our master?" He started laughing, and suddenly the person saw the world in pieces, discovering he had been sliced to shreds. Everyone stood shocked, looking at Arius, whose expression had turned to terrifying coldness and extreme rage.

One of them shouted, "Come on, attack him! What are you waiting for? Lord Baryon will kill you if you don't!" And indeed, countless numbers rushed and attacked him all at once.

On the other side, Rhinos decided to lead the army and ordered them to attack, so Baryon clashed with them and the great massacre began. Baryon began crushing everyone in his path; dragons struck him and he repelled the attack, lizards struck him and he tore them apart, ghost knights, everything attacked and found nothing before them except destruction at Baryon's hands.

On the other side, Arius began crushing everyone crossing his path; whoever approached him was torn to shreds. Blood began to splatter and fill space like massive oceans. The two armies shrank with time.

In Baryon's palace, one of the present commanders said, "This is unbelievable. Who is that creature? He is fighting our army alone and wiping them out without any effort. What is happening here?" Panic overtook everyone from what they saw, because they were seeing a killer with a cold face penetrating, tearing, and blowing up everyone standing before him.

On the other side, Gillion attacked Baryon in his normal form and managed to displace him slightly. Baryon stood up, smiled slightly, and said, "Not bad for just a flying insect." Then he attacked Gillion, who took a blow that threw him outside the boundaries of the universe, though he withstood it.

Ellaria said, "We must press him together." She used her abilities to create portals from which hideous illusory monsters emerged to attack Baryon, so he blew on them, causing all those monsters to fly away, vanish, and scatter with many planets that began to disintegrate and explode.

Dark said, "This person is just toying around." He decided to attack him alone and used an energy blast he had charged to throw at him, but Baryon swallowed it, then threw it back reversed at him, hitting Dark. Dark disintegrated but regenerated again and continued attacking. Many soldiers clung to Baryon, and he brushed them off with his hand like insects while they kept holding onto him.

Rhinos conjured a blue energetic sword showing symbols only he knew, and said, "I will show you, you arrogant one." In the blink of an eye, he attacked and tore space around Baryon, wounding Baryon in his arm and knocking him far away.

On the other side, a group of monsters appeared, surrounded Arius, tied him tightly, and blew themselves up, but every time he came out without a single scratch at all. One of them said, "What is the story of this monster? He is unaffected no matter what we do, as if he's just playing with us."

Arius raised his hand, a massive energy ball appeared, and he threw it toward them, causing all the soldiers to melt and dissolve from the heat of the ball. The system's counter for Arius showed that the "Serial Killer" skill had been activated—the same state that happened to Arius when he went berserk and started eliminating Nahira's soldiers whom he trained on. Arius began feeling a greater desire for bloodshed, and his anger intensified because the skill activates whenever Arius kills larger numbers of creatures. Arius grew a bit angrier.

Baryon felt something strange and said, "What is this? My army's energies are starting to vanish quickly, and there is energy extinguishing and igniting around them. What is going on here?" Then Baryon healed his wound and said to Rhinos, "You are the first to wound me, scrap, but you will be the first to experience this blow of mine." Baryon clenched his fists, then pulled them apart, and a dark, shaking black ball appeared from his hand. Baryon suddenly planted it in Rhinos, who exploded in an instant before the blast itself went off. When the blast detonated, it vaporized the entire army and wiped the entire universe out of existence.

Baryon said, "It's good that I curbed the blast to a minimum so its effect wouldn't reach my palace or my personal universe." Only Gillion and Dark remained on the battleground. As for Ellaria, she was heavily injured and decided to return to her master's body.

The two remained before Baryon, who said, "It seems the game is ending here, little ones."

Dark attacked, appearing before Baryon, and began punching and kicking him, but the latter didn't move or even get affected, as if an insect were biting him. Dark stepped back, and Gillion said, "I'll handle this." He charged his fist and unleashed a strike. It hit Baryon, but its effect only showed behind him because it wiped out dozens of universes without scratching Baryon even a bit. Gillion said, "Impossible! I used all my power in this strike." Baryon said, "And did you expect your full power to be a match for my power to begin with?" Then Gillion received a blow that pierced his abdomen, causing him to hunch over and vanish like the others.

Dark remained, and although he wasn't the strongest like Zaikors or Rhinos, he could stall a bit. On the other side, Arius was smashing, tearing, and vaporizing staggering numbers in the quadrillions of soldiers, to the point that his thirst increased instead of decreasing. After a while, he unleashed a single strike that wiped out everything in the place and even caused comprehensive damage, creating a crack in the northern side of the entire world.

Baryon witnessed the matter and said, "It seems your commander is there, and it looks like he is tampering with my world. I will crush him like an insect."

Dark tried to prevent him from leaving and tried to intercept him, but he was crushed every time. Dark said, "You coward, you won't be able to reach my master as long as I exist." Baryon said, "You know, strange energy, I wish I had loyal soldiers like you; my world's condition would be better than it is now. But alas, blessings always go to the ignorant and undeserving." Then he stabbed Dark and said, "Why don't you sleep then, and dream of your master winning in hell?" Dark lost consciousness, fell into the void, and vaporized as well.

Arius succeeded in exterminating all the soldiers and launched toward Baryon's planet. When he entered, his features were terrifying—features of complete thirst and hatred. He said, "Finally, I will find you, you eyed scoundrel."
