Jason stepped through the barrier, his senses already on high alert. The moment his foot touched the grass on the other side, he saw them. Over thirty mages stood in a semicircle around the perimeter of his home, their robes billowing in the wind, their hands crackling with barely contained mana. They were positioned with military precision, each one covering a specific angle of attack. Their eyes were fixed on him with cold determination.
They had the intent to kill if they had to but this was like an ant trying to kill a giant, it was simply impossible as Jason was immune to mana based attacks, more so with the marrow as it fixed the single weak point in his defence.
