The beast was tall, about 8ft. It looked to be made out an amalgamation of mud, and rocks, with plant roots tightly woven together to look like musculature. In its lower torso, they could see a few human skeletons half embedded where the mud was, and its long limbs had sharp blades at the end of them. The beast didn't have a clearly discernible head, only a mound where they would expect one to be, and facial features that looked half sculpted.
It stared in their direction, watching them closely.
"Hey," Fex said in a quiet voice, "Maybe if we leave now, we can get out of here unscathed?"
As if it were responding to him, the beast lifted its arm, and, as if on instinct, the group jumped off the roof. It shot out its root-like arm destroying where they just were. They felt lucky that they narrowly avoided a blow from a king tier beast, maybe too lucky.
