In one moment, Layla was with the others, victory within sight, and then the next, darkness.
At first, she didn't know what was going on, getting swished around, but not feeling any pain. Then she made a pretty reasonable guess that she was swallowed by one of the purple beasts, unable to move in the extremely cramped and slimy… organic tube? Whatever it was she was in. She tried moving around to break out, but all it did was make her fall down faster.
'Crap, what do I do?' Layla thought, then felt around for her bow, 'Wait, where's my bow?!'
That was when she felt the tips of her legs break out of the tight tube, flailing around in some sort of open space. She didn't know where it led, but she did know that her legs were slowly sliding free as gravity took its natural hold.
She started to panic, 'Oh no, am I going to end up falling down a pit? Or worse, I'm going to get digested alive in a pool of acid! Ew!'
