Meanwhile in the domain…
"So you going to get us out of here Takaba?" Nezu said while hovering near me.
"Yeah sure. But can you try and leave on your own. Maybe by thinking about it?"
Nezu immediately disappeared.
I quickly followed before getting spat out in front of Nezu.
"Why do you always end up on the floor?" Nezu questioned.
I raised my head slowly. "I'm working on it."
"Good. Want to see my renovations?"
"Lead the way."
Nezu opened the door to the office and revealed that…
…nothing had changed.
"I'm confused is there meant to be a spot the difference?"
"No no." Nezu chuckled while striding over towards his desk before pressing down near an edge.
The wall to the right slowly folded revealing an elevator.
"This seems overkill no?" I said, mouth wide open.
"Follow me down."
"Yes sir!"
Walking into the elevator I noticed two things. 1. There were no windows as it had four metal walls encasing the elevator. 2. There was a very small button system tailor made for Nezu and not a single normal sized one.
Nezu quickly scanned himself and pressed the 'down' button. It only took three seconds before there was a slight 'ding' and the doors opened revealing a small, hallway with five doors. Two on each side and one at the very top.
"The two doors on the left are the lavatory and shower room. The two doors on the right is your bedroom and a training room. The door at the top is my bedroom." Nezu said while strutting down the hallway. "You may get changed and then meet me in my room in five minutes as it is bed time. You already have your nightwear in your draws."
With that he shut his door leaving me to open mine. I opened the door to see a pretty big room with blue painted walls, a large double bed with UA bedsheets and linen, two large drawers and a clothes hook on the back of my door.
"Wow."
I quickly got to work placing my clothes in my drawer before seeing a note left on one of them. It read: "your nightwear is in here" in a cursive font. I opened it to see…

"You've got to be kidding me."
Inside the drawer was a me sized Nezu wanzi.
'Dammit it looks so comfy too.'
'Well we only live on- never mind'
I ended up putting it on.

"Knock knock" I said outside Nezu's bedroom.
"Come in." A faint voice answered me.
I opened the door and walked in.
*Click*
"Did you just. Did. You? Did you take a photo of me?"
Nezu was sitting directly in front of me on the edge of his bed, phone in hand aiming directly at me.

???
"Well you see I couldn't help but take a photo of my cute son who clearly looks up to me." He said, eyes twinkling. A small grin plastered on his face.
…
'It was in fact a trap…'
"Moving on!" Nezu jumped up cheerfully pulling out a piece of paper. "Here is your regimen for now. You may start tomorrow."
'This is harsh. Never mind, maybe it's doable .'
—Two days later—
"This hurts." I said face planted directly into the ground.
My entire body was covered in Nezu wanzis.
"You're actually doing really well. Considering." Nezu said sitting atop me.
"Not helpful."
"I've decided on not changing your plan until you enter the school system."
"So two years?"
"Yes. Your days will be filled with training that I will come and supervise from time to time. I am quite busy you know."
"Yeah I get it. Besides you decided to take me on so I'm not going to slack off until I've made proper improvements."
"Good. You should spend the next week researching. Engineering will be helpful if you want to create things within your domain."
"Got it. I'll use diagrams and photographic memory for most designs though."
"Makes sense. You rest well then."
—3 months later—
"Takaba! We're going on a trip!" Nezu called out to me sprawled across the floor.
"Why and where?" I weakly called out.
"Well I'm free due to the term break and we are going to go shopping!" Nezu said while approaching me.
"Okay can you give me five minutes?"
"No!" Nezu replied cheerfully trying to drag me out the domain.
I immediately jumped up fully energised.
"Okay let's go!"
"Good. I've been quite busy lately."

I stepped out onto UA's grounds to see a huge figure standing across from me and Nezu. He looked like a dog with a massive humanoid body accompanied by blonde fur.
"This is our escort/driver for today! Meet the Hound Hero: Hound Dog! He's a recent addition to my teachers and the first to find out about you. Eventually I'll allow for your free roam of the campus but that'll have to wait. Go on and say hi." Nezu stated while looking at me expectantly.
"Hi there sir! Please take care of me." I said focusing my eyes on his snout.
"Hello there young boy. Nice to meet you." He replied gruffly before getting into the car.
Me and Nezu then got into the car and had quite the productive conversation about my progress.
"I can summon 75 Nezu costumes before falling down and 100 before I fall unconscious now. I can attempt 20 rapid short range teleports before feeling exhausted and I've recently developed a scout technique." I said while checking my notes.
"Yes yes, this is decent progress. You will become quite useful in the future. In the meantime how goes your education on engineering?"
"Well I've gotten all the diagrams down due to my photographic memory but putting everything together is hard. I'll need some help with that in the future otherwise all I can do is mass produce random items."
"We will wait until you're older for those kinds of lessons however I was wondering if you would create a big project soon."
"Yeah I'm planning on something big. I'll be put in a coma though. Maybe 8 months worth. I'm planning to go for an omniversal scanner. It can document unknowns of whatever I put into it. To be honest I would rather start now then continue improving for my enrolment in one and a bit years."
"And how accurate is that estimate?" Nezu said with a hint of worry.
"Well I don't know. But I might as well go all in now rather than later." I replied curtly
"I'll get you a meeting with the school nurse and then she can decide whether to allow you to take up her time or not."
"Got it."
—1 month later —
"Honestly why are you suddenly growing so fast? I can't wait to put you into a coma at this point and watch you stumble around while getting used to your new height." Nezu said while striding along next to me.
"Gee thanks." I muttered while looking to the sky.
'Now I gotta convince that nurse to help me out so I don't die during my coma.'
"We're here." Nezu said.
"Come in. I can hear you from out there." An old voice came out, muffled by the door.
We entered with Nezu in front and me trailing behind.
"So Nezu what are you scheming now?" The old lady swivelled in her chair to look towards us. "You're cutting into my break."
Nezu stepped forward and said. "Takaba meet recovery girl our nurse. Recovery girl meet Takaba. My son."
I waved sheepishly at her with a slight smile on my face.
…
"Your what?" She said in horror.
"My son. Takaba." Nezu replied cheerfully.
"Then why does he look… human unless he's adopted?"
"I'm adopted!" I cut in before Nezu could say anything.
"We are actually here due to a request I made of -" I then felt a tug on shirts sleeve.
Nezu was looking at me expectantly.
'Go on… say it' - Nezu
'Uh oh' - Takaba
…
"You there guys?" Recovery Girl broke the silence.
"As I was saying-"
*Tug*
'Dammit'
*Sigh*
"As I was saying. We are actually here due to a request I made of…" I looked down at Nezu.
…"a request I made of father which relies upon me overusing my quirk and going into a coma for at least seven months."
"Heh. That wasn't so hard to say was it. Takaba?" Nezu grinned maliciously at me.
I looked away.
"I can't say that I support whatever this is. However, I'm willing to listen." Recovery Girl hopped off her seat and walked towards me, proceeding to then lift my arms and circle me.
"I won't take physical damage other than exhaustion and the coma in which I will only need nutrients to keep me alive etc. I'm going to create a device allowing me to scan all and anything it comes across and give detailed reports on whatever goes in." I said while looking at the floor. "One complication is I will create it in another space that you will have to visit in order to treat me".
"That's fine."
"Eh?"
"Eh?" Nezu echoed.
"I think you are quite a nice boy and if it means knocking you unconscious I would rather do that then let you get infected with Nezu's plans." Recovery Girl said simply. "So when does this start." She hopped back into her chair.
"Depends when you're ready." I said narrowing my eyes.
"I'm ready no-"
Immediately I activated an entrance gate taking me, Nezu and Recovery Girl into the tailor made room for me that Nezu had created in preparation.
"Oh wow. You already have all the necessary tools in here." Recovery Girl looked around slowly.
"Alright then! Let's hop to it!" Nezu said cheerfully while leading me to a bed. "I'll see you in eight months!"
I activated my ability thinking of a super scanner with its design based off of Nezu's elevator scanner then connected it to a bulky box and let the rest be filled in.
My eyes shone a white light as I fell asleep.
Recovery Girl immediately hooked me unconscious body to countless machines and sat down away from Nezu. "Are you actually getting attached to that boy?"

"I think so. Honestly it was a surprise to me to. However when he just called me 'father' I felt quite happy" Nezu said with his tail swishing behind him. "Take good care of him. I have no doubt he will be an invaluable asset."
"You're telling me. I'm not going to be here 24/7 so have a guard be here at times and make sure to tell me when students need healing."
"Yes. Of course." Nezu said while turning away. "The way to get out is to picture yourself leaving back to my office or the corridor outside it. To get in place your hand upon my office door and think of this place."
He then disappeared in an instant leaving Recovery Girl by herself.
A/N: trying not to rush relationships but I wanna time skip and so does the MC soo. I think it's a reasonable development. I haven't described the MC yet because I didn't want to go for some black haired emotionless MC slop (sorry not sorry) but trying to picture him has been pretty hard. I'll make sure to describe him next chapter though. Peace ✌️.
