Rafelius had business to attend to tonight, so he could not simply sit in the house waiting for word from that woman.
If she could not decide on her own, then perhaps he could offer some assistance for her to make up her mind sooner.
After changing his clothes and retrieving a few things from his bedroom, he headed downstairs. He found his little wyvern by the stairs, perched on the banister with its tail coiled around it.
"I think I smelled a very familiar scent…"
Rafelius stopped. "What do you mean?"
"Earlier today, when the letters were delivered by the postman, I caught that girl's scent. It was faint, but I could not be mistaken."
The little wyvern raised its chin, taking pride in his impeccable senses, which could even surpass a Dark Fae's, given the lineage he came from.
"Which letter?" Rafelius knew well who the wyvern was referring to. But he hadn't caught any trace of scent from the letters Memphis had brought him.
