A few minutes later, in front of T2's(Salvation) room.
Knck! Knock!
Jack Knocked on her door.
On the other side T2 who was sitting on a chair next to the door waiting got up and opened the door.
-"..."
She starred at Jack with her Bright reddish auburn eyes, making Jack feel rather embarrassed and a bit hesitant.
A single thought entered Jack's head and that was to remove the ring, but on second thought he was afraid that his reaction was not under the ring's influence and that he was just like that.
Jack awkwardly laughed and spoke.
-So uh..
Jack cleared his voice a little and handed her the sheet of paper that he wrote on.
-you see, um.. i need some help with this charm's logic and I don't know how to make the formula, so I was thinking.. no, I wanted to know if you can help me.
I flopped it…
She went to her desk that had everything already prepared and using a graphite wood pencil she wrote on the paper without much hesitation.
Do graphite pencils exist in this world? Why did I even buy those quills?
After a little while she handed him the paper she wrote one then slowly and gently closed the door.
Jack didn't know how to feel as he walked away.
Behind him the door opened yet again and the slightly quiet voice of T2 was heard.
-good luck.
…
As Jack walked back to his room he saw a maid preparing to knock on his door.
He didn't look at her or speak to her he just moved his hand and pressed on the door handle startling the poor girl.
This was as so that the effects of the ring will at least be somewhat mitigated.
He moved past her and entered the room, he still let the door open and walked towards the desk and placed the paper on the desk.
While still looking at the desk he spoke.
-Did something happen?
The maid was stunned for a second before she spoke.
-The dinner is ready sir.
Her voice is very pleasing to the ear.
-I'll be there.
She bowed even if she wasn't looked at before closing the door.
Maybe I should have asked her if she could bring the food here..
No then there will be too much food, they'd have to bring a table here just for me.
And if Victor is going to eat as well then this will just be impolite wouldn't it?
…
A while later in the dining room, there were plenty of servants around setting the table removing eaten food and making things convenient.
The ones that received those conveniences were Jack and T2, as for Victor he was missing.
Sitting next to one another neither Jack or T2 were speaking to each-other, it was an awkward atmosphere.
The one that ended the silence was T2 herself with a simple question.
-Did you succeed?
Jack took a moment before responding.
-No, not yet.
He looked towards T2 then down at the plate.
She was cutting the food in very small pieces and ate it very slowly.
This was unlike Jack's plate as he was on his third serving.
She is barely eating, Maybe she is not hungry.
Jack kept eating his food.
How am I supposed to make conversation? Up until now it was Victor that did the hard part.
T2 spoke again.
-You can always ask me if you need help.
Ask if I need help…
-How do you think I should make this charm?
She continued eating quietly, a few seconds later she responded.
-First you need to find the spell you want.
But I don't know what spell to make in the first place.
-I don't know what spell it should be.
Same as before she ate quietly before responding after a few seconds.
-I suggest using a light spell, they receive the least resistance.
A light spell? I never even thought about it.
Before Jack could ask the next question she added.
-But make sure its a safe visible light, don't add too much energy to it.
Safe visible light? Do people of this world know that light has a spectrum beyond visible?
-How would I do that?
This time she stopped eating and responded immediately.
-It's safe to desire it to be at the limit of a human eye perception.
Then it will be a blinding light..
She didn't stop.
-Visible Light is also one of the most efficient type of spells.
The two of them kept chatting, using the making of the charm as the ice breaker.
