Chapter 58: The World Draft — The Birth of a Monster Admiral

The golden screen hummed, shifting from the dusty tavern of the South Blue to a much more formal, yet equally chilling setting. The "Future" watermark pulsed a vibrant, authoritarian green.

The scene was a massive Marine training ground under a sky choked with smoke. It wasn't the era of Sengoku. The atmosphere was colder, harsher. In the center of the field stood Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, his arms crossed, looking down at a man kneeling before him.

It was Aramaki, but he was no longer the vagabond from the bar. He wore a dark suit, his "Death" tattoo peeking out from beneath a half-buttoned shirt. Behind him, the horizon was a literal jungle—he had terraformed a desert training ground into a dense, suffocating forest in a single afternoon.

"The World Military Draft has brought us many 'monsters'," Sakazuki's voice boomed across the screen, echoing in the ears of the current Marines at Marineford. "But you... you understand what this era needs. The world is infested with weeds, Aramaki."

Aramaki stood up, his sunglasses reflecting the harsh sunlight. "Weeds need to be pulled, Sakazuki-san. Or better yet... they should be used as fertilizer for the true flowers of the World Government."

With a flourish, a Marine officer stepped forward, carrying a white coat with the kanji for "JUSTICE" emblazoned on the back. As Aramaki draped it over his shoulders, flowers bloomed spontaneously along the seams of the coat.

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION: THE INAUGURATION OF ADMIRAL RYOKUGYU]

The revelation hit the current timeline like a cannonball. The Marineford headquarters was in a state of absolute shock.

> [Sengoku]: "Sakazuki... as Fleet Admiral? So it's true. The era changes, and it changes toward a much more violent brand of 'Justice.' This man Aramaki didn't rise through the ranks—he was drafted as a monster to serve a monster."

> [Kuzan (Aokiji)]: "Arara... Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, huh? I guess I know why I'm not in my seat anymore. This 'Future' looks like a very uncomfortable place to take a nap."

> [Borsalino (Kizaru)]: "Moshimoshi? Sakazuki-san looks so serious~. And Aramaki... he's already acting like he owns the place. It seems the Navy stopped being a place for 'Lazy Justice' and started being a place for 'Predatory Justice'."

> [Donquixote Doflamingo]: "Fuffuffuffu! LOOK AT THEM! The World Government was so desperate after the war that they reached into the dark corners of the world to find these freaks! A draft?! That means there are more like him!"

> [Monkey D. Dragon]: "The World Draft... a desperate move by the Gorosei to replenish their lost power. Aramaki is the result—a man who doesn't care about the people, only the 'Order' of the Gods. This is the Navy's darkest hour."

>

In Sabaody, the "Lost" rookies were beginning to feel the weight of the screen's revelations.

> [Eustass Kid]: "Fleet Admiral Akainu... and a new Admiral who eats people for breakfast. The world is getting crazier while we're just sitting here! If they think a white coat makes them gods, I'll show them how metal handles wood!"

> [Trafalgar Law]: "A draft that produces an Admiral-level fighter instantly... it means there are monsters hiding in the civilian world that we never even considered. The balance of the Three Powers didn't just break—it was rebuilt into a cage."

>

On the screen, Admiral Ryokugyu turned to face the camera. His grin was wider than before, more predatory. He looked past the screen, as if staring directly at the pirates in Sabaody.

"I don't need a salary," Aramaki said, his voice echoing. "I just need a world full of criminals. They're much more nutritious than the sun."

The screen suddenly distorted, the green light mixing with a celestial gold. The image of the Admiral began to fade, and the hooded silhouette of Saint Shepherd Sommers reappeared, his light-bow drawn and aimed at the same forest Aramaki had just created.

I am not earning anything from this novel. I am still writing just because of two or three regular readers. But it's also hurt when after that much hard work webnovel reject the contract. Anyway today I am going to publish a new book.

Football: The Last Kings' Legacy, Reclaiming the Golden Era.

Synopsis:

"They say the era of magic is dead. They say football has become a game of machines, data, and endless running. But they've forgotten how a single feint could stop time."

In the narrow, muddy lanes of Keraniganj, 20-year-old Rimon—a "Lazy Genius" from the English Department of Bangladesh University—has buried his dreams. After a soul-crushing betrayal at Shia Mosjid and the weight of a broken national football system, he plays only for himself.

Everything changes when he meets Mahima—a love so deep and obsessive that it becomes his only reason to fight.

Suddenly, a voice awakens. Not a robot, but a snarky, poetic "Eternal Commentator" guarding The Last Kings' Legacy. It's a repository of the "Lost Arts"—the vision of Messi, the drive of Ronaldo, the flair of Neymar, and the ghost-like precision of Ozil.

But the System has a condition: Pure Art over Metrics.

From the traffic jams of Dhaka to the grass of the Bernabéu, Rimon must navigate a world of corrupt officials, toxic rivals, and a brotherhood with his childhood friend. Side-by-side with real-world legends Rimon isn't just playing for a trophy—he's lifting 170 million people on his back to prove that the Golden Era isn't over. It's just waiting for a new King.
