The forest felt different now. It was not a change not like a storm or an earthquake but it was still a change. Every leaf, every blade of grass and every wave in the river seemed to be humming.
It was like the forest was alive. Had its own rhythm. Lin Tian could feel this in his bones. It was like there were threads around him connecting everything together in a way that seemed almost conscious.
Gu Chen walked beside Lin Tian being very quiet. He had learned to watch and listen of talking. "Lin Tian it is like the world is noticing you " he said softly.

Lin Tian looked at the forest. "Yes connections, not chains. The forest is aware. It is not in control. It is just.
That is what the Watcher has been teaching me. We can be together without interfering with each other."
Something in the trees moved slightly. Lin Tian noticed it first it was like a tremble in the air. The shadow that was there before was not alone now. There were threads of energy moving between the trees.
They were not moving randomly they were moving with a purpose. They were alive and aware.
Gu Chens voice was shaking slightly. "Lin Tian they are alive.. They are aware. They are reacting to you."
Lin Tian said softly "Yes,. They are not against me. They are just learning. They are testing my presence, not my strength."
The threads of energy moved towards Lin Tian slowly. They were not regular they were unpredictable. Lin Tian put out his hand.
The energy flowed naturally. It was like the forest was talking to him. He was listening.
Gu Chen whispered, "It is beautiful. But it is also dangerous is it not?"
Lin Tian said quietly "Yes being aware can be dangerous.. It can also be good. It depends on how we're how we react to each other."
The shadow moved closer. The smaller threads of energy moved with it. Lin Tian did not move he just let the energy flow through him. The forest was alive. It was responding to him.
Gu Chens eyes were wide. "They are responding to you without you doing anything."
Lin Tian looked at the forest focusing on the energy. "Yes that is what is happening. The forest is aware. It is responding to me. I am not controlling it I am just being."

The forest pulsed softly it was like a heart beating. The threads of energy moved through it connecting everything together. Lin Tian felt at peace he was a part of the forest. The forest was a part of him.
Gu Chen nodded he understood. "It is not about being strong it is about being present."
