The grand hall arena was packed when we arrived, and I could feel the energy crackling through the air as all six teams gathered in front of the central platform. Moderator Vance stood there looking far too pleased with herself for my comfort.
"Welcome back, competitors," Vance announced. "I trust you've all had productive strategy sessions with your new teams. Now it's time to explain what you'll be facing in Round Two."
Behind her, a massive magical projection appeared in the air, showing what looked like an underground maze with multiple chambers connected by narrow corridors. The walls seemed to shift and move even in the projection.
