Austin is not wearing a mask now. He will wear it after he enters the dungeon. As Austin entered the dungeon, he quickly detached himself from the groups of players, then wore the mask and his armour. He then used the Lightning Conduit Body skill to enhance himself with lightning before going for hunt.
Slimes are resistant to melee attacks and blunt blows. But for elemental attacks, they're very vulnerable especially fire, even lightning can do it, it can paralyse them and combining the power of lightning with a bow, you can get piercing arrows that can crack the cores of the slimes.
And that's what Austin is also doing now. He is coating the arrows with lightning to enhance their speed and power to pierce right through the slime bodies and cores. His sniping earned him some rewards although that's only gold coins, slime cores and essence. Exp is reduced here. Moreover he is level 7, not many monsters are on that level in this dungeon.
Austin want to go deeper into the dungeon. He might face some players that got into tower earlier than him and more powerful than him, that is the problem, because they're probably after the boss monster, the big slime. Austin continued his hunt until he came across a drop.

For Austin this is worthless. Not only because he has a poison skill but also because it has a charging time and very limited range, so it's better to sell this skill book. Austin continued making his way into the deeper parts of the dungeon while killing the slimes that obstructed his way.
