Chapter 19 - The end of the test (2).

'It took me a long time to eliminate those monsters, I am still weak, but the challenge was fun.'

Sam thought as he advanced to the fourth test.

Sam looked at this battlefield, in its center stood a man with a muscular body and an imposing, upright stature.

The man looked at Sam with complete coldness.

"Attack."

A single word made shivers run through Sam's veins, because of it, he took a fighting stance without even realizing it.

Sam gripped his chain firmly with both hands.

On his short way to the fourth test, he had tied the daggers to the ends of the chain to make them a single weapon.

He hadn't done this during the fight with the octopuses because of his desire to know his limits with each weapon, but after facing them and not feeling full pleasure, he decided to develop his method.

Also, fighting humans was different from fighting monsters.

The chain was three meters long and weighed approximately three kilograms, with a simple design and a dull gray color.

The daggers were rattling at the top of their handles, so they were easily connected to the chain.

Sam excelled at using both hands, so he found no obstacle preventing him from

using the chain in a coordinated manner.

Swoosh.

Sam swung the chain toward the man with force.

Crack.

Before the dagger attached to the end of the chain could touch the man's body, he blocked it.

'What was that? I saw a spark.' Sam began running around the man quickly.

It was true that he was tired from the previous fight with the monsters, but it wasn't a big deal as he hadn't sustained any serious injuries yet.

Sam attacked again, and again, and again.

But to no avail, every time his chain approached the man's body from any angle, a spark would appear and deflect the chain.

Sam did not despair, instead, he tried to understand.

'Why? Is it a weapon? If so, how? Why can't I see it?'

Questions flooded his mind like a torrent, and he found no dam to stop this flow.

Sam made a bold decision in the middle of the fight.

He quickly detached the chain from the daggers and then threw the entire chain in a circular motion at the man.

After that, Sam closed in for close quarters combat.

'There is no better way than this to find out.'

A pleasurable smile appeared on Sam's face.

The man looked at Sam coldly and moved his muscles slightly, he did not appear tired or sweaty.

His movements were extremely light and fast.

'This boy is smiling crazily.'

This thought couldn't help but illuminate the man's mind.

He was a supervisor, but above all, he was a fighter, a warrior, a conqueror.

He understood Sam and understood his nature, even the data that reached him before Sam arrived at this hall told him that his opponent was: a pleasure seeker.

'Fortunately, this boy has no killing intent, otherwise, I would have finished him off under some pretext.' the man looked at Sam.

What is the most dangerous type you might face in battle?

The one who doesn't fear death? No, fighting him was actually easy.

The strategist? No.

The deceptive and cunning? No.

The one who loves the challenge? Yes.

This type of monster is divided into two parts, a part that has the intent and desire to kill, and a part that enjoys the fight and thus puts their life on the line.

He desires pleasure, so he will face you even if you are stronger, he is not afraid and cares for nothing other than that feeling.

That was Sam.

Karak, swooooosh.

'Just a madman.'

The man thought while moving his fingers lightly and parrying all of Sam's attacks.

'Finally.'

Sam saw something metallic colliding with his daggers.

"You have a thin, strong wire, don't you?"

Sam shouted loudly, a smile gracing his face from the discovery.

"Yes, and what of it? You are surrounded," the man finally spoke.

His tone was not like his cold gaze, it was like a father addressing his son.

"And what of it? This fight will have more meaning if I can break out of the encirclement."

Sam replied and looked around, he could distinguish them, thin threads surrounding him from every side.

'Is there no escape then?'

Sam looked in all directions without finding anything.

Then…

He looked up, there were no threads.

Sam attacked again.

Crack, Click, Crach.

But to no avail, the man only parried.

'His hand movements, his fingers? The upper body?'

Sam thought about some of the things Jazz had told him during their fights.

"If you cannot predict the attack through the weapon, predict it through the movements he makes."

'That is exactly what Jazz said, but I can never understand his movements, and he is only blocking me.'

Sam looked at the muscular man standing upright.

'Can't I change the course?'

Sam thought.

Impotence?

'I am truly very weak, how will I become the ocean with this mentality?'

The man looked at him differently for a moment.

'This is the feeling you must overcome. I heard that one of the supervisors was injured by a student. I was happy about that and desired for such a thing to happen, but with you, I don't think you can. So, I will help you overcome that feeling of helplessness and weakness, and you will be able to reach what is higher.'

The man thought at length while parrying the attacks with skill and smoothness.

Sam changed his attack method again, he threw the daggers.

The look in Sam's eyes changed too; he was full of desire.

'Is this boy developing himself during the fight? He is the opposite of what I thought. I believed the feeling of helplessness and weakness would overcome him, but he exceeded my expectations.'

Bam, Baaam.

A punch followed by a kick followed by a punch.

Sam did not stop his advance and did not stop his attack.

However, he couldn't do anything.

In the end, he was suspended in the air by the thin metallic threads.

"Boy, do not be ashamed of yourself; you did well. I believe you will find a way soon."

The man spoke very kindly. Then he lowered Sam.

"You can go to the final test, that might be your driver in finding an answer."

Sam did not answer from beginning to end, he simply headed to the last hall.

"Come forward, student."

A silky feminine voice spoke to him; it was the supervisor.

Sam stepped forward to where there was a stone table with a paper on it.

[What are you?]

Only this question was present on the entire paper.

Sam looked in surprise.

'What is this?'

Heri fought some wild bees.

Bzzzzzz, Bzzzzzzz.

Four of the "Eyes" level.

The wild bees were characterized by a huge stinger, but losing it did not mean death like other bees, as they had three.

Heri was attacked and pursued by the bees.

She used her long, thin needles smoothly.

Then she took a small bottle from one of her hidden pockets: poison.

She lightly added the poison to the needles and then turned quickly.

Swoosh.

With a speed that pierces the wind, Heri threw some poisoned needles.

Thwack.

One of the wild bees fell to the ground.

The fight continued with caution and agility...

...

"This stone will show me your information, if you have an excuse, tell me."

A man who appeared to be in his forties, with a dominant aura, spoke to Milly.

"I have an excuse. To resolve this, you can only co

ntact the principal or the deputy

principal."

Milly spoke in a calm tone.

"Why them?"

"Well, because they will know the meaning of the word I am about to say."

"Fine, tell me. I will contact the Deputy now."

"Nietzsche."
