Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Contract with Vhagar

The giant dragon that charged out to attack Glutton was Sheepstealer, another adult wild dragon.

At this time, his body length was only over forty meters, and he was not only ugly but also very thin and weak.

But a dragon is a dragon, and he was probably enraged by Glutton's arrogance, wasn't he?

Or perhaps he had often been bullied by Glutton in the past?

So, with Dreamfire as the main force to restrain the ferocious old dragon, he naturally wouldn't miss this excellent opportunity to attack Glutton.

However, his combat power was really lacking.

Even with a sneak attack, he barely caused any substantial damage to Glutton.

But it did create an excellent opportunity for Dreamfire to attack Glutton, allowing her to gain a slight advantage in the current dragon battle.

Although Glutton had bitten Sheepstealer's Dragon Wings just now, it hadn't caused him too much damage and didn't affect Sheepstealer's mobility.

So, Sheepstealer immediately joined the ranks of those Surroundattacking Glutton.

He seized the opportunity, quickly soared into the air, and spewed a blast of scorching Dragonflame onto Glutton's already lacerated back.

Glutton, in pain, angrily turned his head towards Sheepstealer and immediately retaliated with a splash of hot, sickly green melted Dragonflame.

But Sheepstealer skillfully dodged it.

Dreamfire then took advantage of this opportunity to swing her massive Dragon Tail, sweeping it fiercely towards Glutton with a whistling sound.

Glutton was unable to dodge, and his massive body was swept sideways.

Seeing this, Sheepstealer opened his maw full of sharp teeth and bit fiercely into Glutton's exposed flank, quickly tearing off a piece of dragon meat.

Then he immediately and alertly moved away from Glutton.

Dreamfire then spewed out scorching sky-blue Dragonflame, the flames surging like a tide towards Glutton.

Glutton reacted quickly, not to be outdone, and also spat out sickly green flames in resistance.

The two flames intertwined, and the surrounding air seemed about to ignite.

Sheepstealer circled behind Glutton, his claws fiercely tearing off a large piece of flesh and quickly swallowing it, causing Glutton to twist his body wildly in pain.

Glutton was enraged, his eyes turning bloodshot.

He abandoned his confrontation with Dreamfire and turned to pounce on Sheepstealer.

Daenerys, how could she let go of this opportunity, quickly steered Dreamfire to accelerate and charge directly towards Glutton, fiercely stomping on his lower back with her hind legs.

This would not only completely unbalance the dragon but also easily severely injure the dragon, causing his hind legs to lose mobility.

Glutton, caught in a pincer attack, was momentarily thrown into disarray, but he was experienced after all.

Even though he was already covered in wounds, and his lower back was severely injured, making his Dragon Claws somewhat weak, he quickly regained his footing.

The ferocious and cunning Glutton knew that he wouldn't get anything good today, as his stamina was running low from not eating for a long time.

However, the strong Dreamfire clearly still had good stamina.

If this continued, he might very well perish at the hands of these two dragons he usually didn't take seriously.

So, he frantically flapped his Dragon Wingss and fled towards the Narrow Sea.

Daenerys looked at Sheepstealer's thin body and shouted,

"Thank you, Sheepstealer!"

"I'll roast more delicious fat goats for you in the future."

Although Daenerys didn't know if Sheepstealer could understand her words, it was indeed thanks to the help of this ugly dragon today.

In the future, she really had to pay more attention to him.

After all, although this dragon wasn't particularly powerful, he was an adult dragon no matter what, and establishing some friendship was not bad.

Watching the frantically fleeing Glutton, Daenerys didn't want to kill him completely.

So, she slowly followed behind him with Dreamfire, making sure he truly intended to abandon today's battle.

However, something unexpected happened again.

Just as Glutton fled to a cliff by the sea, the dragon Vhagar suddenly lunged out, bit Glutton's body, and violently threw him onto the beach.

Glutton, already somewhat exhausted, suffered such a heavy blow that he elegantly passed out.

A shocked Daenerys quickly shouted, stopping Vhagar from her next move to finish him off.

"No, Vhagar, don't kill him!"

Perhaps it was because Vhagar had eaten a lot of delicious roasted lamb provided by Daenerys in the past, Vhagar actually stopped her actions.

She looked at Daenerys in confusion, and after confirming Daenerys's intention, she truly stopped harming Glutton further.

She landed on the nearby beach and lazily lay down.

However, her ferocious gaze remained fixed on the unconscious Glutton.

Daenerys also landed beside Glutton with Dreamfire, and after confirming that Glutton was truly unconscious due to severe injury, her heart finally completely relaxed.

Next was the aftermath.

To thank Vhagar and Sheepstealer for their contributions in this battle.

Daenerys had people carefully roast hundreds of fat goats and sent them to their locations.

Since Sheepstealer had always lived in Dragonmount, Daenerys had the Dragon Guards personally deliver the roasted goats to the vicinity of his dragon den.

She believed that Sheepstealer, smelling the aroma, would certainly not miss these delicious treats.

As for Vhagar's roasted goats, Daenerys had Viserys personally lead the Dragon Guards to deliver them.

After this dragon battle, Daenerys felt that if Viserys still couldn't firmly tame a dragon to protect his family, then she would truly give up on this weak Viserys.

In the upcoming struggle for the throne, she would rather see her relatives shed blood.

She was unwilling to let her weak Viserys ascend the throne and cause another Dance of the Dragons later on.

Because Glutton's body was simply too massive to move.

So, the Dragon Guards brought out specially made thick chains that could lock up dragons.

They used nearby large rocks to firmly chain Glutton to the beach.

This ferocious and ancient dragon was finally forced to transition from a wild dragon to a domesticated one.

However, this time, father Viserys did not disappoint Daenerys.

He actually took the opportunity of delivering roasted goats to Vhagar.

He decisively came before Vhagar and attempted to tame this founding dragon, the only one remaining of the Targaryen Family.

Don't let Viserys's usual gentle and seemingly easy-going demeanor fool you.

But as a dragonrider capable of taming the Black Dread Balerion, the aura Viserys exuded when facing a dragon was surprisingly captivating.

It was different from Daemon's uninhibited arrogance and rampant hormonal male charm.

It was a calm, composed, and incredibly firm and persistent male image.

It seems that Viserys's heart must contain a side that is usually not easily noticed by others!

Daenerys stood not far from Vhagar and Viserys, nervously watching their interaction.

Vhagar, who had already feasted on dozens of fat goats, was in a very good mood at this time.

Looking at the stout and determined man before her, Vhagar tilted her head to look at Daenerys, then sniffed the scent on Viserys.

Soon, the dragon Vhagar made her decision and slowly lowered herself.
