Chapter 155 - Chapter 155

Suddenly, he saw that Karl's eyes, originally blue as a clear sky, had now turned red, like burning lava.

Immediately after, two extremely hot rays, emitting a dangerous red light, shot out from his scarlet pupils.

Borch's heart clenched, thinking Karl was about to launch a more violent attack.

But the two scarlet rays did not shoot at him; instead, they darted several times at very high speed towards the ground still shrouded in light mist.

Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Several faint sounds, like hot knives cutting through fat, came from below.

Immediately, Karl gently blew downwards.

A strong gust of air instantly blew away the remaining mist and smoke, clearly revealing the scene below.

He saw, about thirty meters from the dragon's cave entrance,

dozens of dwarves and human mercenaries had, at some point, taken advantage of the clash between the dragon's breath and the cold stream, which had created a lot of steam and chaos,

sneaking towards the cave. But now these opportunists had turned into scattered stumps and severed limbs all over the ground.

The heat rays had easily sliced through them, along with the armor on their bodies. Most were killed instantly, while some, still alive, were cut in half at the waist or chest.

Some were not dying immediately, lying in pools of blood and letting out mournful, painful howls.

Karl glanced at the wailing idiots on the ground trying to challenge his authority and snorted.

This group of people were desperate for money and had disregarded his previous conversations and promises with Borch.

He hovered in the air and moved slightly closer to Borch, his voice reaching the surprised Borch: "My perception is much stronger than you think."

"As long as I want, nothing within ten thousand meters can hide from me." He pointed to his head and eyes.

"Even in the midst of a fierce battle, it doesn't affect my ability to monitor the movements of these people."

He didn't specify the maximum range of his perception, leaving a little "hundred million" unsaid.

However, this should be enough to demonstrate his abilities and completely dispel Borch's last concerns.

And indeed, hearing Karl's words and seeing him take out the various details of the attempted sneak attack,

Borch finally completely let go. With the last trace of hesitation and caution, his massive head slowly nodded.

The dragon's pupils, the previous distrust and concern gone, were now replaced by recognition of a strong opponent and a rekindled, pure passion for battle.

He clenched his claws, sparks faintly appearing in his mouth again, and a low, warlike voice sounded.

"Mighty warrior... Arn Vati! Your strength and will have earned my respect!"

He suddenly raised his head and let out a dragon's roar that pierced the clouds and cracked stones.

ROOOAR! "Very well... as you wish!!"

Borch's dragon pupils were fixed intently on Karl, and his voice carried a final reminder: "Be careful!"

Before the words faded, his massive body suddenly moved, his huge wings flapping with all their might.

A gust of wind, far stronger than before, rose, making the crowd watching the battle below barely able to keep their eyes open.

He was like a golden cannonball, hurtling towards Karl with immense power.

Karl did not dodge or evade; instead, he immediately met him head-on the moment they were about to collide.

With one side of his body, he brushed against Borch's left wing, and with his right hand, he slapped the dragon's back.

A flicker of surprise appeared in Borch's eyes. He twisted his massive body, his tail swinging towards Karl.

At the same time, his right claw blocked Karl's escape route on the other side.

The giant claws, which only had three sharp talons but were enough to breach a city wall, reached for Karl.

Karl hovered in the air, his eyes no longer as relaxed and playful as before, now fully focused.

Under his super senses, Borch's lightning-fast lunge slowed down, and the trajectory of the claw attack was clearly discernible.

Karl nimbly flipped in the air, dodging the tail strike, but stopped just as he was about to be caught by the dragon's claw.

He allowed Borch's claw to close in, and then, before the claws could squeeze shut to crush stone, he shook his hands and sharply extended his grip.

The claw struck again, and as it grazed his side, he grabbed one of Borch's thick fingers.

At first, there was a feeling of hardness and coldness, like an alloy, and a majestic force trying to break free.

"Hmph!" Karl grunted softly in his throat, the muscles in his arms instantly tensing.

He took advantage of the situation, twisted his waist, and tried to lift the behemoth and throw it back.

This time, he felt the opponent's power resistance, and Borch was clearly prepared.

His wings flapped violently, changing his posture, and his massive body surged into the air.

Although Karl's terrifying force pushed him in a certain direction, he wasn't thrown off as easily as expected.

He simply swapped positions with Karl, the throw didn't work, and Borch's other claw struck Karl again almost simultaneously.

However, Karl reacted very quickly, immediately raising his hand to block the moment his arm was about to be caught.

His dynamic vision, far beyond that of ordinary people, caught the cunning flicker in Borch's eyes.

This wasn't right! It was a feint! He immediately understood that his opponent's combat experience was considerable.

He had time to dodge, and with his speed, he would be out of reach before the claws came down.

But Karl's eyes were stern; he made a bold decision—not to dodge.

He wanted to feel for himself how far this Borch's power could reach.

The next moment, he stopped evading and maintained his stance, raising his arm to block.

Borch spun rapidly with a sensitivity completely unsuited to his massive body.

His thick, powerful long tail, covered in golden scales, was like a giant steel whip, full of force.

It traced a golden afterimage through the air and was firmly traced across Karl's crossed arms and chest.

BANG!! A loud sound, so dull it almost stopped the heart, exploded.

Karl felt only a majestic force; his arms and chest went numb.

Even with his bio-field and steel body, he couldn't suppress a muffled grunt, frowning.

Under the impact of this immense force, his figure instantly shot out of the air, turning into a blurred afterimage, crashing into the steep stone wall a hundred meters away.

BOOM! Another deafeningly loud noise, the entire mountain wall seeming to shake violently, smoke and dust rising into the sky.

Countless stone fragments, the size of ordinary people, fell like rain, crashing to the ground with a roar, leaving deep pits.
