Chapter 325: Seito: "I Am the Founding Father of the Harem Genre!

....

To be fair, Fujiwara Daichi didn't want to pressure his daughter like this, but his current circumstances left him no choice. Furthermore, he had seen Seito himself. He wasn't bad-looking, and since most people in the Eastern Country had a thing for white hair, Seito's natural white hair was a big plus. The young man was quite handsome and matched his daughter well.

The only drawback was that Seito had too many women around him. But that wasn't a major issue; a capable man should have a few more women by his side. That was the extent of Fujiwara Daichi's internal thoughts.

Beside them, Fujiwara Chika remained silent. She actually held Seito in very high regard, as they were both members of the same guild, and Seito had helped her out quite a bit inside the game.

"I... I don't know what I'm supposed to do..." Chika said weakly. She had absolutely no experience with this kind of thing.

"It doesn't matter. Just go home with him today and say you want to stay over at his place. That should do the trick," Daichi said, smiling as he got the response he wanted. The fact that his daughter didn't dislike Seito was a great start.

"I understand," Chika nodded. The father and daughter then turned their attention toward Seito to discuss the finer details.

...

Time flew by until school let out in the afternoon. Seito said his goodbyes to Haruno Yukinoshita and the others, then sought out the Nakano quintuplets—he hadn't forgotten his promise to Ichika.

Walking among the five sisters, Seito asked, "Are we still studying this afternoon?"

In truth, Seito didn't want to tutor them at all. It was unnecessary; they could easily self-study the remaining high school and college material on their own. Tutoring them now felt a bit redundant.

"Let's skip it for today," Ichika said first. She had a gentle smile on her face, clearly happy that Seito could come to their place.

Ichika's feelings for Seito were straightforward. In two words: "I like him!"

But due to her pride, she didn't voice it. As far as she was concerned, being by Seito's side was worth more than anything else.

The other four sisters had no objections, though they glanced at Seito from the corners of their eyes from time to time. Perhaps it was just their imagination, but they felt that Seito's aura was incredibly powerful—much like that of an ancient emperor!

"Alright," Seito nodded.

Sasageyo! Sasageyo! Shinzou wo sasageyo!

His phone suddenly rang, causing Seito to instinctively pull it out and check the caller ID.

"Hmm? My editor?" Seito paused.

It was his novel editor calling. In this world, the novel industry was centered in the Eastern Country, though the Japan was quite advanced in anime development. To publish novels, one had to register a writer's account online.

Seito was considered a "Great God" tier author. Compared to the more conventional genres like the "loser-to-hero" or "invincible protagonist" stories, Seito had pioneered a completely new genre. He was effectively the founding father of it—the "Harem Genre!"

He tapped to answer and held the phone to his ear.

"Hello? Editor-San, what's going on?"

"You haven't posted a new book in six months. Your readers are already flooding your author page with demands for an update," Editor-San said on the other end. His voice sounded like that of a man.

"Start a new book?" Seito touched his chin. Even though he didn't lack money now, he had saved quite a few novels from middle school—works that were absolute hits in his past life. Wouldn't it be a waste not to publish them?

"No problem, I'll post it in a bit," Seito agreed immediately.

"Great. What's the title of the new book?" Editor-San asked.

"As a Male Prisoner, I Was Thrown into a Women's Prison!" Seito replied calmly.

Editor-San: "..."

Nakano Quintuplets: "..."

This...

Hearing the book title, the corners of everyone's mouths twitched. It sounded like anything but a serious novel!

On the other end of the line, Editor-San muttered to himself, "Is this guy's brain filled with nothing but women?"

"Alright, I'm hanging up now," Editor-San said, cutting the call without further ado. Seito immediately began accessing his draft files.

"Seito-kun, you still write novels?" Yotsuba asked curiously, and the other sisters looked over at him as well.

"Of course!" Seito nodded and smiled. "I am the founding father of an entire genre, after all."

"Genre?" Miku was intrigued. She read quite a lot of novels, and she had a deep understanding of the online literature world.

"What genre did you pioneer?"

"The Harem Genre!"

"..."

Hearing the answer, not just Miku, but the other four sisters lost their composure. The Harem Genre? Why is your genre so... strange?! the girls thought, silently roasting him in their minds.

"Are you the new god of web novels, [Black Silk Beautiful Legs]?" Miku asked instinctively.

"Ahem!" Seito choked a little at the mention of his pen name. That was the one black mark on his history he wished he could erase. Back in middle school, he hadn't unlocked the God Domain yet and his days were incredibly mundane, so he had decided to publish novels from his past life to see if he could make some money.

He didn't need the novels to be masterpieces—just enough to earn some cash—so he had picked a ridiculous pen name: "Black Silk Beautiful Legs." Who could have predicted that his very first novel would become a massive hit?

Because of that success, Seito had abandoned the urge to change his pen name and just let it be. After all, no matter what he did, a determined fan would eventually dig it up. It was the only blemish on his record from his childhood to adulthood.

"Alright, let's get going," Seito said, speeding up his pace while busy tapping on his phone to publish the new novel. The five sisters exchanged glances and hurried to catch up.

A while later...

After grabbing some snacks on the way, the group arrived at the Nakano sisters' home. As soon as they entered, Seito put his phone away. Aside from Ichika, the other four sisters went back to their respective rooms to change; they had been sweating quite a bit during the tests, so they needed to wash up.

Turning to Ichika, who was busy eating takoyaki, Seito asked, "Why didn't you go in with the others?"
