When Wincent and his now new friends went to go eat after they hav finished their tour. They heard snipets of conversations about what the research group hase discovered.
The scale that they brought back belongs to a gore magala. Making every hunter on edge.
After hearing these conversations around the outpost. Hoping that maybe they hear something else about it as well they decided to go eat. While walking Mary started going through her notes to find anything about the gore magala to share with the others.
After arriving and founding a table for themselves is when they started talking about it.
"Anything that you can tell us about it Mary?"
"Give me a second Dorothy. I have to many notes on me."
"It's okay take your time. I will go and order for us. Wincent what do you want to eat. I know what the others like to eat but not yours."
"Thank you Frank. I'm not picky you can order me anything."
"Okay. But don't complain if you don't like it."
After leaving to get their orders started Wincent started to help Mary with the notes. There was indeed to many.
They hav finally found it before Frank got back but decided to wait for him. They only needed to wait a few minutes for him to get back.
"The gore magala is known for the frenzy virus."
"The frenzy virus? But if it's true then why haven't we found any monster infected with it?"
"We don't know Jack. Probably because it's still to young?"
"What do you mean young? The sooner we get rid of it the better." Said Frank.
"What do you all think? Should we got to see if we can find anything?"
Asked Dorothy already thinking about going out.
"Before that we should tell Calvin so he won't have a heart attack when later we tell him or he founds out that it was a gore magala that chased us."
After Franks little joke making the atmosphere a little lighter. They joked about a few more things before a commotion got their attention from outside.
Wincent wanted to see what was going on but Frank and Jack pulled him back down onto his seat. Afterwards Dorothy explained to him that this usually happens because of one individual.
He asked the name but the others told him it doesn't matter, he won't be seeing him much anyway. But after a little bit Mary told him that hunters name is Joel, that name was familiar to him from Lakeside but it's probably a different person. So Wincent didn't taught about it further.
Outside of the outpost the person named Joel walked up to one of his companions. (He can't call them his friends.) To talk about their future plans one of which involved getting Wincent killed.
Their plan was to find the gore magala and get Wincent to go to it's home not knowing about it and get him killed. Of course that was only possible if they find it first without getting themselves killed in the process.
The reason Joel wants Wincent to die so badly is because he thinks that he should have been the one to get Robert as his teacher and not Wincent.
The reason Robert only taught Wincent was because he wanted to focus on only one student. And the other reason is that Joel wasn't someone Robert could have tough at all. He was to arrogant in his eyes and he just wanted to be better than others. That's why he didn't teach him.
Back inside of the cave Franklin was testing of how he can use the frenzy virus but so far he got nothing. He did feel it inside of himself but like it was dormant. Thinking that maybe he was just to young for now he shalfed this project. And decided to focus on something else.
Like what else he could add to his cave. Since the moss he brought in stayed alive maybe he could add some more. And maybe some different coloured ones if he could find.
As long as he calls this cave his home he should at least make it to his liking.
Waiting for the sun to set so he can go out. He planned where he should put moss inside.
When he finally was able to go he already had a pretty good idea inside his head. Finding moss wasn't that hard since it grows pretty much everywhere inside the forest.
He didn't really find different coloured ones just green ones. But they were in different colour shades and length difference.
He decided to get at least one of each. The first he brought back was a light green, short length moss that had little white flowers in it. He put that at the entrance since he found it in a place where the sun light was defenetly reaching it.
Some other ones got ether further inside of the cave or closer to the entrance. It did took him a few hours to complete.
But in the end he was pretty satisfied with the result. Now it was just time to see which one will live.
