The morning after Sienna's disappearance every member of the house of Assembly gathered for an emergency meeting.
Every seat in the house was filled, eyes fixed on the empty podium where the Prime Minister would soon stand. The gallery above overflowed with journalists, their cameras already rolling and the atmosphere was thick with tension, heavy with questions and accusation.
The speaker of the House banged his gavel three times.
"Order! Order! This emergency session of the National Assembly will now come to order. The Right Honourable Prime Minister has the floor."
The Prime Minister rose from his seat and walked to the podium with purpose, his face holding a firm expression. He was immaculately dressed and his composure was absolutely flawless but beneath the surface, he was not so composed.
