TIER 18: MONFEL
"Now what? What is the next step?" "The next step is the first step, Vahura. We will find Monfel." Jamz replies and turns to Edy. Edy closes his eyes and opens them immediately. "MOVE AWAY!" he shouts. Monfel appears with insane speed from far to end Edy but his spears gets blocked by Obisad. "Let's have a talk Monfel, shall we...?" Jamz says. Monfel's bloodlust face turns into a friendly one. "Hey Jamz! Long time no see. What will we talk about? Go on." Monfel says unfazed, like he already knew what will happen. "I want to know your purpose. Why did you suddenly appear and kill Fumetsu? Why did you stole the Tes of Grudge? What is the bond between you and Granq?" Jamz asks. "Didn't that guy Granq tell you?" Monfel asks confused. "What do you mean 'that guy'?" Jamz asks in astonishment. "I don't even want to use that guy's name." Monfel says, his demeanor filled with hatred. "That guy has been telling you completely fabricated stories... He might even have used his Tes to convince you." As Jamz says, "Elaborate, Monfel." Monfel begins to explain. "The Middle Ages. A time when great leaders wielded their power to the fullest, and countless massacres took place. Lu Bu was one of the greatest generals of his time. One day, during a desert campaign, his army was attacked by an enemy, but no ordinary enemy; it was a strange-looking, yellow-skinned man with a symbol on his body. He managed to defeat the army and confronted Lu Bu. Just as Lu Bu was about to cut off the man's head, he received a blow to the chest and collapsed to the ground. He tried to get up but couldn't. All his soldiers were dead. He managed to move and stand up. A tower caught his attention; a tower made of five different colors, struck by lightning, definitely supernatural... Fascinated by the sight of the tower, Lu Bu mounted his wounded horse and began to approach it. Exhausted by the scorching heat of the desert, Lu Bu's condition worsened, and the ride seemed endless. After a long period of intense thirst, Lu Bu jumped into the natural water sources at the lowest level of the tower and quenched his thirst. When he raised his head, the needy look in his eyes gave way to rage and revenge. The symbol at the top of the tower was the same as the symbol on that man. Without thinking, Lu Bu drew his spear and attacked. He tore each supernatural being into pieces one by one. Just as he thought he was dead, his spear turned blue. Immediately afterward, the spear in Lu Bu's hand spontaneously took over his body, staining and shaping his armor and skin blue. Spear imprisoned Lu Bu's soul within his body and took control. Lu Bu struggled internally but could not escape. Then it retreated and spoke with Lu Bu's soul, and they reached an agreement. Lu Bu regained his body, and together they contemplated. And Lu Bu learned about the outside world. At the end of his long journey, he reached Boluk and arrived at Sarlion. There, he encountered Granq and learned that what he was carrying was the Tes of Will, and that each Tes contained a Temseral. Lu Bu decided to explore Boluk with his Tes. After some time, he discovered Baz. Curious about the outside world, both him and the Temseral wanted to go out. During this time, a bond formed between them. But Granq, the head of the Jilid Council, didn't allow Lu Bu to pass Baz. Until Lu Bu devised a plan and tried to escape... Granq caught Lu Bu halfway, and a fight ensued. Thanks to the special ability of the Tes of Will, Granq couldn't even touch Lu Bu. In the middle of the fight, Lu Bu discovered that he could open a portal that overcomes all obstacles. Forgiving Granq, he passed Baz, and took his first step into the Holy Void. Yes, that's me. And Monfel is the name of the Temseral of Will. As for your question... the reason I took the Tes of Grudge is... a power system revolves within each Baz. Just like will and grudge. In fact, will and grudge are branches of energy. So the main power of that Baz is "Energy." And whoever controls the main power system of one Baz... can control all the other Baz... So, initially I could only feel will and grudge, but now I can also feel "Soul" which is the power system of this Baz... The branches of Soul are also "Vision" and "Knowledge". Now... let's get to Granq... Granq isn't actually who you think he is. Even if you haven't properly spoken to Granq, based only on what others told you, you probably think he's a good person..." Monfel laughs mockingly. "Granq just uses his power in the worst way possible... He ruthlessly manipulates people and creates fake trust... I'm telling you what I saw with my own eyes. Actually... Temseral of Blood was right, you know? Maybe even Zars is right at some point, what do you say? Temseral of Blood used to be a Jilid member. One of the kindest Temseral... One of the creators of Evoren... and of course, incredibly powerful. No Temseral's power could harm him. It was as if he had a special protector... This is Zornut telling the story, not Granq. Remember that. The Temseral of Blood realized what Granq was doing and tried to kill him. But Granq was agile. He managed to escape and entered Jilid. The Blood Temseral killed more than half of the council one by one... But then he suddenly disappeared. Until you came, The Lord of Blood... I don't know what happened, how it happened. But somehow he managed to reincarnate in your body. Jamz, you might be thinking, 'Why did he tell all this just like that?', 'I am considered an enemy, why didn't he back down?', 'Is he lying?'... No, no. I told this because I know you can't defeat me in any way. Even Edy's Eqia couldn't defeat me..." he says. After all this information, Jamz, unable to think properly, begins to question what he's doing, and then Monfel's final words come. Monfel concludes: "I have answered the question... This is my purpose. I am the embodiment of justice and judgement. I will defeat all the evil myself. Oh, right... What is your purpose, Jamz...?" (...)
TIER 19: THOUGHT
Jamz's void of thought is indescribable. He kneels, raises his hand, and places it on his sweaty face. He tries to focus, but thoughts race through his mind: why this happened, how he could act without thinking before, how he can't no more... He doesn't know what to do; he's fallen... "If you won't answer, I'm leaving, The Lord of Blood." Monfel says, looking at Jamz's ridiculous state. He's not laughing or angry. The only emotion he feels is pity. He wonders how someone who fought head-to-head with the one who started the Dark Ages, someone who sacrificed his life many times to save the entire Holy Void, could be in this state... Monfel says, "Excuse me. I have things to do, The Lord of Blood. Even if you can't defeat me with the power you possess, your capabilities are limited only in your mind. Stop playing the fool and get up. Why did you call me here? Why did you resurrect Vahura? Why did you save Edy from his endless despair? There was a reason for everything... And you know it. All you have to do is find it... Search and find it, Jamz. I have no problem with you. Do whatever you want. Until our next meeting... Get yourself together." he says but at the exact same time, Suaw jumps on them, "I WIL MAKE YOU PAY!" he says before being completely vanished to air by Monfel's red spear's swing. "I know you will follow me. I'll be waiting." Monfel says before disappearing. Vahura thinks to himself, "That was sick! But how does he know my name?" After a while, Jamz gets up, laughing to himself, and despite still being covered in sweat, says, "What an idiot I am! My only job is to keep myself sane, and I can't even do that!" He sits cross-legged and starts scratching his head. Then he stands up and says, "Anyway, I guess I have no purpose. What do you want to do?" to Vahura and Edy. Vahura immediately jumps in and says, "Of course, we're going to get out of here and find that guy Monfel!" Edy nods. Jamz, though annoyed, says, "Okay, fine. Let's go then. Edy?" Edy glances at where Monfel is and they set off using Jamz's teleportation. (...)
