The next few days were blissful. Hannah was very happy to share a home with the Kim siblings. She finally felt like she was part of a family, a feeling she had never experienced before. Tears filled her eyes as she looked at the rooms that were once empty but were now fully furnished. Jiwoo laughed calling her a cry baby and decided that her nickname was Baby. Min Jun who was initially not keen on letting his siblings move in had since warmed up to the idea of them creating a little family and actually living with his siblings at a comfortable place they could happily call home. He discovered that he quite enjoyed sharing meals full of laughter and delicious food with family and Hannah being an excellent cook made it even better. For the next few months Hannah would pick and drop Nari from school and sometimes either Min Jun or Jiwoo would pick them both up. Jiwoo never stopped calling Hannah 'baby', and everyone else got used to it. Even Hwan and Nari started calling her 'baby'. Hannah didn't mind the nickname at all, it was the first nickname she'd ever been given.
A year went by very fast and their little family became very close , it was as if they all grew up together, but Hannah's happy life abruptly came to an end and Her nightmare began.
Min Jun was away on a business trip in England, they were opening a branch in London, so he'd go there every few months. When hannah woke up she felt sore all over her body, her back and arms ached, she felt like she'd been hit by a bus. She gathered up all her energy to sit up but she felt a sharp stinging and painful sensation from her lady parts. She winced in pain and slumped back in bed. This isn't a fever, what is this, where is this pain coming from , I was fine yesterday and this is the second time it's happening.
This was the second time Hannah woke up aching all over especially on her flower, the first time was 3 months ago and she'd felt better after soaking herself in bath salts. She also took some antibiotics because she thought it was just an infection, maybe a UTI she'd thought it was. The pain and stinging sensation stopped 2 days after she'd started taking the antibiotics and that's what solidified her assumption. But this time was different, the pain was worse and she couldn't dismiss, she forced herself out of bed, dragged herself to the bathroom, and soaked in bath salts for 30 mins. She got out of the bath and got dressed. She wore a yellow knit dress with a matching cardigan and paired this with white sneakers. She didn't need to make breakfast because no one was home except her, Nari was sleeping over at her friend's and Hwan was now an Intern so he would sometimes sleep over at the Hospital Dormitories. Just as she was about the leave she heard loud yawn coming from the boys room and a second later Jiwoo walked out looking like he'd just come back from war. He looked tired like he hadn't slept in days. "Morning…. Are you going out",he sounded very tired. "When did you come back", Hannah had not heard anyone coming in last night and she wasn't expecting at least not for another day. " Got at around 3am, I left as soon as the meeting ended, didn't want to spend another meeting with those old men, …..anyways see you later baby". Jiwoo dragged himself back to their bedroom after having a glass of water.
At the hospital, Hannah drove around for 10 minutes before she could find a parking spot. She finally parked and made her way towards the hospital. She tried her best to keep an upright posture despite the pain she was feeling especially in between her thighs. As soon as she walked into the hospital the pungent smell of chemicals and medicines filled the air. She spoke to the receptionist who then told her that a nurse would come and take her to the doctor in an hour and a half. The thought of sitting down almost brought tears to Hannah so she chose to stand and luckily the nurse came to get her in 45 minutes. She nervously walked to the doctor's room where she was welcomed by a warm smile which made her feel a bit relieved, she had been hoping for a female doctor because she thought they would probably relate to what she was feeling. The lady introduced herself as Doctor Kim Se Eun.
