After a series of incidents—including the sister's suicide, the house fire, and the hospital stay—the two brothers, Edward and Arthur, finally decided to return to school.
That morning, my brother and I woke up, and John's servant, Wilson, prepared the bath for us. He had arranged hot water, soap, and shampoo. I went in first to take a shower, followed by my brother. When he came out, I said to him,
"What a refreshing feeling—it sends chills through your body. It's good to take a bath from time to time."
He replied, "Well, maybe you're right. Get ready, it's time to go to school."
"Alright, wait for me, I'll go change my clothes."
He nodded, agreeing to wait.
I changed quickly, and when I was ready to leave, I called out to Wilson and asked,
"Uncle Wilson, tell me, is John awake? It's time to leave—we're running late."
Wilson replied after a brief pause,
"Don't worry, Mr. Edward. Young Master John is aware of the time. In fact, he's still asleep, but he knows the schedule. Perhaps in the past you used to walk to school, but here, with Young Master John, a driver will take the three of you to school by car. So there's no need to worry about time."
Then he glanced at his watch and said,
"Well, it's probably time to wake him up. But before that, come with me, Mr. Edward—and bring Mr. Arthur—to the living room. I've prepared some high-quality tea for you."
After I brought my brother to the living room, we sat down and found the tea Wilson had prepared already placed on the table. He then went to wake up John.
I picked up the teapot and poured some into my cup and my brother's. The tea had a clear color with a slight greenish tint, topped with a light layer of foam.
I lifted the cup and took a gentle sip. At that moment, it felt as if bliss was flowing through my mind. With each sip, my thoughts grew clearer. Despite the tea being hot, it filled me with comfort, and every bone and muscle in my body felt refreshed.
I opened my eyes in amazement at the taste. In my life, I had never drunk tea of such quality.
I gestured to my brother and said,
"Ahh… what a refreshing tea."
He nodded in agreement—it truly was of the finest quality.
After a short while, John arrived with his servant Wilson and told us to follow him. My brother and I followed without hesitation. Although we were staying at his house, he was still the master of the place, and we hadn't explored much beyond our rooms. Still, I was worried about being late for school.
We followed John into the courtyard—or rather, the palace—and I was completely stunned.
There, before my eyes, stood a limousine. It was long, pure white, and every part of it had dark-tinted windows that concealed the inside.
"John!!!
You actually own a limousine?!"
I looked at him in shock and continued,
"That's impossible! Where did you get it? From what I know about you, you've never had a limousine. You've never even brought one to school! Even if you didn't want to use it for school, it's still strange—I've visited you many times. There's no way a car this big could be hidden from my sight when entering the mansion!"
My words truly reflected my shock. I had known John for a long time, yet I had never seen a limousine in his residence. Honestly, calling it a "house" felt like an insult to such a grand mansion. But that didn't matter—the real question was how John got the limousine.
John looked at me with satisfaction, then laughed loudly, his laughter echoing around us.
"Hahaha! Look at your face—how shocked you are!"
He then calmed down and added,
"I won't lie to you. I actually borrowed it from one of the companies my father left behind."
After hearing the truth, I sighed to myself.
"So, it's just one of your late father's possessions… what outrageous wealth."
Arthur clenched his fists, raised one near his mouth, coughed lightly, then interrupted,
"Ahem… sorry, but can we go now? As you can see, we're late."
After that, we got into the limousine and left. Wilson waved at us, moving his hand left and right as he bid us farewell.
And at that moment, we were on our way to school.
